Congratulations!! That feeling is something else!I am stoked here!
Been playing GTS for two whole years and not won a single race - Come close but no win - Until today that is...
Race B. Qualified with a 2:05.xx on a controller. Two wins and two poles!
Absolutely stoked. Time for a beer or three now!

It did for me in the beginning too. But once you have learned it you can keep on chipping away time and polish your line.Climbing the last sector kills it for me![]()
last sector is possibly the worst / least enjoyable sector of any track in the worldI don't get the wide spread disdain for Fuji? It's a great fast track
It really is. It's like you have to drive looking out your side window the whole time, and so ponderous that it's like a toddler drew it. I mean, I can see what they THOUGHT it would be, in terms of a challenge, but it's a huge swing and miss and I hate it.last sector is possibly the worst / least enjoyable sector of any track in the world
Good thing everybody’s struggling there so its lose - loseIt really is. It's like you have to drive looking out your side window the whole time, and so ponderous that it's like a toddler drew it. I'd say the last sector of Catalunya has it beat easily. There's at least some satisfaction to getting the trail braking perfect through those never-ending corners in the final sector at Fuji. I agree that the chicane at Fuji is awful and useless. I don't even understand why it's there! Without it, there's plenty of runoff area beyond the corner, and it's not like the cars are approaching at obscene speeds anyway. It's still better than the "come to a dead stop and execute a 3-point turn if you want to have a hope of getting through me" final chicane at Catalunya, plus the "the slower you go the tighter i get" left-hander after the back straight.last sector is possibly the worst / least enjoyable sector of any track in the world

Imagine Fuji in reverse ........ could be quite possibly the best track on the planet
Thousand. After just doing the Gr.4 race at Maggiore, I'm feeling like the bop is not very well calculated.
The front-wheel drive cars should have a couple hundred pounds added to them.![]()

Exactly. I explained to my wife, while we're watching my replay, people choose those other cars because someone posted the fastest time. She says, players should understand it's more about the driver than the car.I have been running the 787b because I love it. Gained positions every time, I'm not very good at qualfying but has ok race pace in these cars.
So far I have seen 1, one, jaguar. It was run off by a Nissan in T3, and quitted after that.
There is an overwhelmingly amount of Sauber Mercedes in the race. Because people doing guides on YouTube has declared it the best car for the race.
Now I am in low B and there is also an overwhelmingly amount of drivers who can't control the Sauber Mercedes in section 3. And in T1....

That's all good. Players can keep choosing the others. It makes my races kind of realistic that I'm the lone 787B.
How about these?

i know right it looks like one of those stainless steel camping trailers..... i always thought it must get real hot in those...LOLRace C is a blast , starting from the back just to see everybody struggling with that last sector, kryptonite!!Shame we dont got liveries, 13 laps with a plain sauber

Well...I actually can't argue with that. The chicane at Fuji is one of the best overtake spots of the whole track .
What we enjoy and what we're good at aren't always the same things, sadly. Not a fan of Fuji, either. Yet statistically, it's one of my strongest tracks. Go figure.
Yeah, makes no sense. This in turn means 10 minutes waiting for the next race. Could’ve easily squeezed in another or even two laps more and still have time for the next race.why, why, why 3 laps at Maggiorie??? 4 surely?? Madness.
