Just did some qually for daily C. The M3 is a tub of ****. Racing hards, 60deg rear toe and it feels like that? Really? Please PD sort out your standard setups. It feels like the rear toe links aren't connected. A shopping trolley would lap quicker.

Another long weekend and another awful selction of races. I suppose once I'm back in work on Tuesday the selections will be much better lol.

Daily race C surprisingly clean and everybody doing no pitstop hahahaha, while on Nation cup and manufacture cup doing same mistake on last lap. Suddenly lose focus and crashed, on Nation I lost 1 position and in Manufacture I lost 4 position. :banghead::yuck:

will upload the video later

I just tried race C and dont ask me how, but i started the race with Heavy wet fronts!!! Needless to say they didn't last long and had to quit the race. What setup are people using for brakes and traction etc? I am using a controller.

I strongly disagree. I can't stand sport tires. We're racing, let us get the maximum grip
No way.
This is a problem from GT5 lobby days.
Everyone uses F1 tyres on all cars and now PD is doing it SMH.
If you do that all the cars behave the same and there is no uniqueness to the handling.
But I forgive you because you must not have a wheel to experience what a round around the ring with the Pantera on sports feels like.

I love driving powerful cars on sports tyres, but I wouldn't like to race with them. Far too much wheelspin, sliding, heavy braking zones etc for it to be enjoyable to actually race (in my opinion).

Plus, today with the BMW E3, they are forcing us to upgrade the car to N300 and then setting BOP, so GT are treating the car like a race-worthy edition, as if we are treating it as a touring car and not just a road car. it wouldn't make sense to treat the car as a touring car, but then put sports hards on or something. It would make more sense to use Sport tires if the BMW M3 wasn't being upgraded though.

Just won a race b:cheers:

Fair enough for the BMW but,
You can race even with comforts if you put the time to learn how to control the car.I've had very enjoyable n200 races with comforts in lobbies.
They re in the game for a reason, having different styles of driving makes the game having more you know, game?
I think the Gr3 only people will get bored sooner or later while more adventurous people will play the game for years.

Your times make me sad. I don't want you on my friends list anymore
:lol::p
You'll get there ;)
@TheGeologist same here his time pop up on the screen and make me embarrassing
:lol::lol:

@Alpha Cipher what is the strategy for race c:confused:
Haha hey I barely play Alpha anymore you shouldn't see any times there at all!

No stop all the way :D
The added fuel weight gives the car some needed stability all throughout the race :)
I do fuel map 2 from lap 3 until when my fuel meter predicts that I can last the whole race

Well folks, I did Race A and Race C. Race A was pretty reasonable, started in 6th with 12 car grid that dropped to 11 during warm up. Pretty fair race. Mostly fellow DR/Ds, and the FC is a lot of fun.

Race B I was matched against DR/A and B with a few of the mythical Cs. One of the Ds qualified fairly high.. probably one of you aliens slumming it ;). The M3 was a lot of fun. I think it would have been less fun for me with sports tyres.. racing hards gave me the right amount of tail happiness to be fun. This is one of the few races where I can genuinely say there was a lot of dirty racing happening.

Started 16th, worked my way up to 8th despite this one guy in particular with a Mobile 1 livery who was crashing his way through everyone and flashing his lights like he felt it was his right to be in a higher position. I was having a good fight with the guy in 9th. He had a couple of sniffs at openings, but didn't quite have the momentum to pass, probably from braking to avoid a collision. Eventually he dive bombed me, but squeaked past with out contact. I had to pit with one lap to go and stupid me hit the button without thinking and changed the tyres. Yes, they were knackered, but I was quite comfortable with the handling for one last lap. When I looked at the replay I saw the mayhem that was happening behind me. These two orange cars where smashing into each other the whole race and others were knocked off the track as collateral damage. As for Mr "The world owes me positions" Mobile 1, he was back in 12th. My pitastraphy got me 14th place. Final analysis, my DR has dropped some more, but still not 1 yet! and my SR is back to 99.

By the way, I thought I looked dreck hot in the replay, but I'm sure you aliens will think it's more show than go... but at least it was flashy!

Thx @Alpha Cipher

I made a mistake that Omega is the one in my list today:cheers:

458 GT3 is very fun but difficult to drive! IDK if maybe having force feedback on a car like this would help but it's difficult to tell when the car is about to lose grip mid-corner. Brands Hatch is my favourite track in the game and I had some topsy-turvy races.

It certainly helps, not that I can tell major difference (thanks, useless G29 FF) but I also think they changed both 458s in some patch.
I remember them being very spin-out friendly before that...

The gr4 458 has always been solid. I love the 458 gr3, and especially love beating Porsches with it :)

I would only use/used comfort soft. Beyond that kinda turns into running on ice blocks, on oil........ in the rain lol.
No problem here, you know that sometimes I like to pretend a figure skater a gentle and artful Waltz is never a bad thing ;)

Today's gr3 on Tokyo East was fun for me. Only raced once so far and finished 4th, but the NSX was a pleasure in those fast corners and it is pretty nice in weight transfer. The only thing I hated was those Peugeots all around. Damn it should be real cars not wannabes. OK I understand PD calls it gr3 not GT3 but even so... racing imaginary vehicles is weird.
BTW I start to love the NSX, never raced it before, but recently got it for daily gift, so decided to give it a try. Yesterday at brands hatch was also great.

Did one race C today just to try what‘s going on with the car. Surprisingly clean racing albeit no big position changes. One guy in front of me went off and decided to rejoin the track right in front of me but other than that it was a nice race. The car handles odd tho, I lost it once, went off and was slapped with a 3 second penalty :banghead: It‘s also not helpful when you then run out of fuel in the last corner
At least I met some GTP members @_ApexPredator @Shottah072 :gtpflag:

Brake bias -3 (me) and -2/-1 difference is too much based visual on here

RCF was too fast, really easy make some drag racing from spoon to casio. But GTR seems too stable, can't tell about NSX since bunch of NSX on back was crash (winner was NSX though)

Yeah nice to see you man! I had a bit of a mare that race; was super keen to try and race you but after 5 laps just lost my patience with the guy between us, Matthias I think, and went into the hairpin a bit too hot, pushing him out of the way a little

Realised I've had my wheel sensitivity settings way too high as well! but yeah it's very softly sprung, which is nice, it responds well to subtle input, but would probably feel a bit better on Sports Soft/Hard tyres.

I can see why they opted for RH though, made for an interesting race, just a very snappy car on the limit!

Just gonna be that guy who says they love Tokyo Expressway...pretty sure I could achieve a 1:59 flat in the 458. It really brings the worst out of the penalty system though. 10 seconds for someone turning into me and bouncing into a wall?!

Yeah I was kinda excited to race you, too :D maybe some other time :)

Yeah i had a great day at Tsukuba. I think i did 7 races. Scored all podiums including 3 wins. Gained a decent amount of DR. But only 1 position change in all races and that was when the game decide to start me in wrong gear and i dropped 1 place at the start. Finished second by a tenth one race as well.
