Horrible daily races today, won’t be doing those not to my tastes at all! Go back to some lobby racing I guess.

really fun race C. it's no stop, the tyres are trashed at the end. you also need to short shift or do fuel map 2 for 5 laps or so or you'll run out half way through the last lap like i just did from the race lead QQ

Depends who you're running with. In my first race, I stopped twice and finished 4 spots ahead.

Second race, I pitted for fuel & tires early and caught cars conserving.

Loving the Maggiore II configuration. Short and quick layout.

Race C today is fantastic. It's a breathe of fresh air. I'm sick of the same old Gr 3 and Gr 4 races on the same tracks, they just don't interest me anymore as they've been the same for months now. (Gr 2 races would be nice but I expect them soon)

i see .. i just did a second race and a guy did a 1 stop and caught me up about around a second a lap (we both qualified 1:02.4) during the last 5. i think i'll pit on lap 8 then since the stops seem short

Super short pit stop. I was surprised to see cars so close when I exited.

Track Position is extremely important around here though so it could be tough to overtake, even with a +1second advantage

Just had a go at qualifying in the M3, first time in it and very fun car to drive. But surely a car with racing tyres wouldn’t be that tail happy!! Good grief is it a slippery on the rear, loads of traction but really bad in higher speed corner!

Offline, I set anti-roll bars to 10/10. Springs as stiff as possible. PD dialed in too much roll and brake dive.

Over steering(no pun intended) in and out of corners, makes the car, well, oversteer. There is a point in the steering, where it will just about bring the back out. I've spent these past two days driving the thing. (To me)It's awesome with RH tyres in Gr.4 races.

I did a no stop. The additional weight of fuel made the car exceptionally stable, even with shot tires. I was running low 1:03s the whole time except for 2 laps where I did a 1:02 and last lap which was a 1:04

Yeah I agree. I did 1:03's for the whole race bar the last 2 laps which were low 1:04's. And I only had to shortshift a few times. Unless pitting for new tyres takes less than 6 seconds, I can't see stopping being quicker, especially as you will then have to overtake cars too.

I made a E30-Lobby for Tsukuba (N300, 6Fuel, 10 Tyres) (Badly i'm no longer the Host, i have to eat something now and went out quickly for that... The new host is asleep i guess :-) )
Nothing happens at the moment

I started to watch the Bathurst 6h this morning, and it got me thinking (dangerous I know  ). As probably the longest serving bottom of the ladder drivers here, I've had a chance to make a few observations about the lower ranks which many of you are so fond of complaining about :p.

Firstly, there is a distinct lack of experience driving with other cars that are as unpredictable as they are. This is exacerbated when thrown in with Gr cars, particularly Gr3/1. They try to race clean generally, but the control just isn't there to get out of the way to avoid a collision. The general consensus I'm getting from here is that there needs to more than just the 3 dailys. I think one of those should be a production car garage event restricted to DR/E, D and C. Not sure how the DR/C guys are, since in 140 races I think I've only seen 5. Usually mismatched with As and Bs . I can only assume that's because the Cs are mostly Bs downgraded for dirty driving ;).

Yep. It seems to be the meta here in the US that no one is stopping. I put my fuel map to 2 like what inri does though, since I shift up using the clutch and I don't want to put any more effort than I already do

I don't know if this is the right thread to ask but here goes.
I don't do many sport races but to day I did one. I got a penalty on the last corner but I can't figure out why.
I was trying to give the other guy room and then he came towards me with the wall on the other side.

I made a video of the last lap in which it occurred.

Can someone explain what I did wrong here?

It wiil have classed that you tapped the other car and gave you a pen. It is very harsh, but that is how the system will have seen it. Take it on the chin and carry on.

Really think they could add another daily race, all to often I don’t like the three they pick out. Why can’t we have one make, GR4, GR3 and GR1 +2 races. Then just vary whether it’s a pit stop race or sprint with each or one make etc of each. I really think there is a big enough player base to handle 4 races probably 5.
