Losing SR is a blessing for my win statistics

The Mustang is a bad choice for that race tho, had a bad clash with a guy from belgium in an Atenza. Unfortunately i spun him around in the final corner :boggled:

Really like gr4 cars round nurb, I can actually stay on! However, I just got red SR after only one small collision with the back of another car at the start. Has it been made more difficult to gain SR now?

It always is in a daily B now, one contact can get you a red rating. Also contacts from other drivers that don't result in SR down can still deduct points behind the scene. I have had clean race bonuses with a red SR rating at the end.

It's actually more difficult on a daily C as well now, it seems the negative SR points for a contact resulting in a penalty have had a significant boost. One Monza C race I had 3 contacts from cars driving into me and 1 bump against an unexpected early braker resulting in penalties. (10 sec although he didn't even miss the apex after the bump) That took me down 30 points from 99 to 69.

I'm getting the same now, brake checked by someone trying to serve a penalty right in front of me in a tight section, 3 sec penalty and -6 SR from just that.

458 GT3 is very fun but difficult to drive! IDK if maybe having force feedback on a car like this would help but it's difficult to tell when the car is about to lose grip mid-corner. Brands Hatch is my favourite track in the game and I had some topsy-turvy races.

Fair enough. Maybe my time zone also has something to do with this
I'll try and check again when I'm S in the US
time zone definitely effects who you find. nearly every time i’ve done sport races through 12am to 3am my time (pst) there isn’t an S driver to be found

Man you are flying! I'm 6.3 seconds off in Q. Did you set that time with the GT-R?
Yep I did  ride on the edge :D
Unfortunately now back in >SR95 I get matched with the aliens again, so no more wins atm. Got 13 so far :dopey:

That's a sweet day for you man! I'm at 99 all day and not even a podium. And just had the worst race of the day.. Maybe one race i'll get close to you..:p

I‘m taking a break now and wait until the aliens go to sleep
Just let yourself get crashed from left to right and drop SR, easy wins then :D

Well today was a mixed back of daily race for me, mostly negative as I have dropped back to C for DR and although
still S for SR I suspect that may be dropped to A due to a few rage quits from the races this evening, I should know
better than to race when I am tired.

Was interesting to see Nordschieife as track B today and has taught me I really need to practice with the Gr4 cars
more as was all over the shop in my few attempts at it.

Brand's Hatch I could have done much better but as I say was too tired for the long race though the Mazda RX-7
one make was good fun.

Hopefully can get some better results on tomorrow's races.

Jeez, Nordschleife is dirty today. I've reported over 10 people already, bumped from behind 4 times per race, swerve blocking on the straight, trying to overtake in impossible corners, zero consideration for traffic ahead. This game is going down the drain fast. Matchmaking isn't helping putting S/S to B/S together. I guess most A/S drivers have already fled the scene.

Nurb 24h is much better as the field had some separation already before reaching the Nordschleife so you don't have a bunch of cars all draft bumping each other. It's pretty sad my favorite track is getting disrespected like this. Hopefully it will clear up a bit soon, however I'm not even going to touch Brand's hatch today, Wipeout VR again tonight, dirty drivers win, you can have the game. Happy bumping.

Oh great next race is up, down to D/S in the room with S/S driver without qualifying. This will go well.

They did try to help us a bit with the lengthy drive until first corner. But it is not enough.

Firstly everyone should be forced to qualify, to many hotheads seems like they earn a right to get forward because they know they are much faster.
Secondly the Q laps should be a real indication of your speed, not just something you threw together fast.
When you mess up you are not entitled to anything but the position you rejoin the race in, you made the mistake, now earn your way back up through the positions and don't be a road block..
Respect the car in front of you and take notice of why it may be slow, forcing your way around a slow car because it's not pushing the car in front of the track is not very nice.

The track is narrow and almost impossible to make a clean pass on if the grid positions are relatively to the drivers speed. With one lap and very impatient drivers SR will drop

Still I love the track so much I accept the huge drop in SR, I don't really care anymore I just want to race and have fun

Alright I‘m done for today, 16 wins on the Nordschleife :dopey: My SR was on a rollercoaster tho.
99 down to 85, slowly back to 99 only to again drop down to 72 but now I‘m back at 99 and scored a lot of wins when my SR was down :D
Also spotted a few GTP members, @meck_rb7 @Alpha Cipher and maybe some more I can‘t remember.
Cya on track! :gtpflag:

I usually start mid pack and the long drive doesn't help at all. All the cars are bunched up at the last turn before the start line.

What I would add to your list is, when the car in front of you gets in trouble you're not entitled to drive him further off the road, slow down, go around safely or not at all.

And ffs don't serve penalties after blind corners. PD relaxed the time until the penalties increase, you can drive on with 10s in A/S now, at least for quite a while. Find a save spot and stop brake checking and blocking or take it to the finish.

And another race hit twice for slowing down for a car. I CAN'T DRIVE THROUGH CARS!

Edit Finally, a clean race. Well for me. I managed to brake the draft early with trailing cars starting in 5th. 4th wrecked, passed safely. 3rd had a 1 sec penalty at the finish, I took his spot. The rest of the field behind, all red, drops to A and even a B...

The next one, slow down for an accident, get rear ended. The weird thing is it said the other car got 10sec penalty while I got 1sec. It looked like he slowed down to serve immediately yet only lost 1 sec on me and his penalty is fully cleared at the finish. I lose since I carried the 1 sec penalty with me and he still managed to catch the slipstream. So is the penalty system lying as well? How do you scrub 10 seconds losing no more then a second? Usually it's at least 4 seconds lost to scrub 10.

Easily the best day I’ve had. Thanks to the RX7 and Suzuka East I went up a crazy 5000DR points :D
It even made up for the nightmare couple days I had a few weeks back

Took 8 podiums from 9 races, battling the very clean Japanese racers that are always on early in the morning (my time). Had a break to make a livery, came back fresh and took my 3rd ever victory from pole. Also set my quickest lap during that last race, 1.02.5, a 1/10 improvement on my qualy and just over a second from the quickest time on the board. Not bad for a DS4 with no assists except ABS :)

Really wanted to try the Nurb event but I got a bit addicted to the rotary

Argh I came so close at 97 SR. Then a wreck in front of me, it changed direction at the last moment, could not avoid, 10 sec penalty. By the time I found a safe ish spot to serve it, it was up to 23 seconds. Now back at 82 SR. Nordschleife is worse then Monza... Such a fun drive though, yet these stupid penalties....

Edit: Ok, after a clean streak of 4, the damage from hitting that one wreck is undone. I'm gonna quit while I'm ahead. It's a lot of fun to race on the Nord, yet my nerves can use a break from constantly worrying about getting hit and having to descend into the awful back field.

No stopped race c a few times in the z4 won once but improved from mid pack to podium quite a few times. Cant seem to put a lap together on the ring atm for race b getting used to the blue mode on my fanatec and trying to get the settings right again

Hm, the races haven't changed. Still the same ones from yesterday.

edit: Actually, the C race just flipped over an hour later than usual. It's a One Make endurance race. M3 '89 on Tsukuba, 15 laps. 6x fuel, 11x tires. Get ready for some spins.

Okay they all finally flipped, an hour later than normal for some reason:

A) One Make (RX-7 '90) -- Maggiore Center Reverse (4 laps)
B) Gr.3 -- Tokyo East Outer Loop (4 laps)
C) One Make (M3 '89) -- Tsukuba (15 laps. 6x fuel, 11x tires)

Perhaps it's you that is now on DST, an hour later. Japan doesn't observe DST anymore. US and Canada already switched over before and it's been changing at 3am EST since, 17 minutes from now. New A and B should be up as the races just started. (already turned the console off though)

15 laps on Tsukaba, hmm. It's alright for karting yet I find it quite a boring circuit otherwise. I Hope A and B are better.

Could be. I'm in the U.S., we changed to DST a few weeks ago. I edited in A and B, not fond of them either.

I'm irritated that we still haven't had a Gr.2 daily yet. But there's a Gr.2 FIA race on Sunday so maybe we'll start getting them in rotation after that.

I guess I'll go for my least, least favorite, Tokyo. It's going to be an SR struggle again while dodging penalty servers. However I usually qualify in the top for Tokyo and if I survive T1 also finish strong. I wonder if the infamous thumping is part of the sounds that go missing after a while...

Man those races suck. No gr2 daily yet. Might just go dust off my horizon zero dawn and play that.
