Ahhh don't get me started on the quality of racing at the moment I get it am D rated at the moment. I can go quite quick usually can finish in top 5 but everyone in every lobby just seems to use you as a cushion in harpin corners and I'm always the one with the penalty. I just cannot get my sr up at all due to other idiots. And if I drive any more carefully am going to be loosing time. Just rage quitted my last race now for being punted from behind by someone who does not know there braking zones. Trying to hammer daily race c to get my stats up but I have 3 good races then in race 4 along comes a idiot who just barrels into my ruining my sr and race :(.

If you're that much faster, just gotta qualify decently and get away at the first corner. You gain lots of DR at the lower ranks for wins.

Don't rage quit if you care about Sr, you lose even more by doing that and will never get it going upwards. ;)

:gtplanet::cheers:
I know its just heat of the moment when someone else ruins your race then you end up last place by 6/7 seconds after you manage to turn yourself around and sort yourself out on track

I’m still recovering from a dr/sr reset that was achieved during the route x crash fest a month ago (haven’t had too much time to play), I was A/S and now up to B/B. Had some very good races last night in Race C. Qualified pole in 3 races (1:44.8) with results of 2nd, 1st, & 4th. First race the second place driver drove through me at turn 1 but other than that racing was pretty clean. The TT pushes like crazy and eats up the RM tires but appears to be the car to beat at Seaside with Gr.4.

I've been using the jag f type that seems to handle seaside quite well just hate that chicane in last sector for some reason I can never take it flat out always have to slow down for it eats up about 1/2 second for me

I can take the chicane flat for the first few laps but then the push comes from the tire deg & I have to lift a little bit. Also, the lift might come from the fact that the chicane of death can kill an entire race with just a slight mistake.

In American lobbies the quality is quite low, if you qualify you're usually going to spend the race playing with yourself. Starting last gives more of a challenge and you can get some good racecraft practice in.
In the Brit lobbies the speed is quite low, if you qualify you're usually going to spend the race laughing about your 20 sec lead after turn #1. Starting last is like racing Mr Bean and the Muppets.:mischievous:

If you drive a lap quick enough for top 100 in America you will be 350th in Europe (using race B's times), whatever reason is behind that the races are less competitive with a wider field spread, It also means the threshold for hitting certain DR ranges is lower.

This is based on the numbers so shouldn't be anything too controversial.

Never let maths get in the way of a good triggering.

We found the owner of the car mentioned here...

The owner was easy to track down, the custom UK license plate said "GOTMAXPOWER"

Yeah, and then there's Asia. They have less players than America. My Q time at race A would be 5 spots better on their list.
They have really great drivers, too. But with the Chinese not being allowed to connect to outside servers, the player volume is relatively low.

Yeah. Bit of a ghost town depending on the combo here in Asia. If there is a race that everyone thinks is far and away yue best some others get neglected. At Big Willow a couple of weeks ago I had prime time races on Friday night with 1 A+ on pole, me as an A/S driver at the time. Then C and D behind. Some even with SR A. Wouldnt have thought it was that hard to get a 12 driver field, but something other race was hogging all the drivers.

Is it cleaner over there?
From the videos I've seen, it looks about the same.
I've had an Asian account for a while, and it seems a bit cleaner to me.
Also, before starting a foreign alt account, consider your geographic location. I went with Asia, because I'm on the west coast of US.
I usually have about the same connection as the Aussies and Kiwis.

Jump into Free Practice and we'll, practice, doing laps on RH. Get the feel for less grip. When your mate starts the race, take it easy until tyre come up to temperature.
Think I should have said in a better way, the car keeps starting with mediums on and no matter what he does with trying to put hards on it starts him on mediums
