Took 3 rounds out on the N24 last night. Bit messy from where I was. First race I have s very impatient driver push me out in turn 2 allowing another through. I end up following them onto the Nord. They are a total mess there. Get to Arenburg and they take each other out. One TT bounces back across and I think I am going slow enough to avoid as it slides from the outside in. Nope, it then bounces back to the outside and I get it. 4 seconds.

Next race I was just too close to @Raptor013 when he got a touch loose, whacked his bumper and got 2 seconds. Then spun myself out trying to get back onto track. Stuck behind a driver who simply ignored all other cars. Third race was pretty much by myself. All told still 99 SR but had to qualify a better time. Will race a bit there but man is it messy.

And yeah, the whole first half of lap 1 is very sketchy on tires.

As much as I love Big Willow I have serious trouble with those death beetles. Probably a qualify and walk away combo for me this week.

@Redneckchef shame you got a penalty for that contact. Sure it was a fair whack, but you had no where to go as I was recovering.
You can't fight PD penalty logic. But the penalty was fair enough as I slammed you. But that wasn't nearly as bad as me spinning out twice trying to straighten the car. Once there and once in the karusell. :boggled::D

That one is certainly challenging race.

Rocking the 'Ring in the dark has been my jam on my day off today. Did a 8:54.xxx in the RCZ, which has put me in the top 7 for the 4 races I did today. Managed a 2nd, 2 - 6th places and a 7th. 4 clean race bonuses and around 3,000 DR.

Not going to tempt fate any more today. Maybe on the alt. :D

Really enjoyed a lot of racing at Willow and The Ring today... 500 miles and I’m totally worn out! Added 2k DR to the Alt account, which I should probably just make my main account now, as it is at the same all-time high as my main account was, and is cleaner than that one too! Ended the day on a high note at that new DR high and a win/CRB/FL.

Just quit and back to GTA V.

Freakin' TT get by me and messes up. I pass it and when it rejoins the track, knocks off a few cars behind me. I go off a little bit ahead. The TT has the red dunce cap and is determined to slice me off to gain position. Not to mention, I made half the track available to have a clean opening. Still brushes me off. I flash the lights and screw it, smashed the TT off. A few seconds later, the TT quits! So, being my alt, I quit too. Haven't quit in a long time.

Trust me i love the Nurburgring 24 to bits, but I cannot stand the fact I god kicked down to SR B For all the little unforced taps I gave bc someone had to drive in the wrong place and brake SOOOO early. Nevertheless I suck on race B, so I'll just stick to Races A/C for now. I dont know how you guys can have clean race there when everyone wants to pass on a track barely able to hold 2-wide.

The 911s on Big Willow are actually pretty good. Only a couple of places where they try and kill you. I’ll be alternating between this and RBR this week.

Honestly ran a few qualifying laps tonight and it wasn't so bad, but when it just starts to feel right I end up on a desert excursion again. I also just wasnt feeling it for racing tonight. But looks like others having fun so that's a good sign.

Well, it's a very long time since I joined Daily races - I usually just race when they are good combos for me - as being stuck in the middle of the pack usually leads to a lot of carnage.
But this week, having nothing to practice for - Route X is almost lottery, Dragontail Gardens is one of my nemesis tracks, and our private league season is on holiday until 11 of January - I joined in with the objective to become fast on N24. Driving the Hyundai Genesis, as a practice for the Nordschleife race in Manufacturer's Cup.

Started yesterday on the alt account, put an 8:54 in Q, basically started almost every race in top7 and mostly finishing on the podium. In the evening, after about 8 races during the day got my alt to about 33K DR and caught the top split. Of course, starting in P13, cause my q time was not good - and got wiped out at some point but potential was there.

So today in the morning, moved over to the main account, put a 8.52.1 for q - which still can be improved and raced... And had a lot of fun.

Highlight of the day - a race with a Dutch in a Viper and a German driving a white Corvette where we pretty much swapped places 3-4 times and kept ourselves in 2s range from P1 to P3. I was hoping to put a final charge for the win on the Dottie by letting the Corvette pass me sometime before and then use his slipstream to pass the Viper(the Genesis is no match for both of them on the straights, but is quite a balanced car for that track) and hope to have enough momentum to be able to fight him in the final esses - but he messed up the final right hander before the straight leaving me 1.5 behind the Viper. But anyway, the race was good fun - if they are reading here, I hope we race again.

Of course, had also my share of idiots - a Spaniard who I think did not brake at all for T1-T2 and used us as guide rails - surprisingly he made the corners and made 5 positions. And the 2nd one, a fast portuguese who where taking out anyone who tried to pass him. I don't understand these drivers, he was fast enough to fight for the win in both races he was, but finished 8th and 17th because he blocked/wiped out people and was taken out as revenge...

Here are the full highlights from that race last night (6 minutes), it was one of those where you have weirdly good luck so there were a couple of crazy moves in the first half a lap:

Great racing, can you help me understand something though - why did you flash your hazzard lights 3 times after each clean pass? Thanks.

SR 99 to 66 in one Race A. Clean race strike was at 6.
I do not understand how they can do that great qt but have no race pace. They slamming the brakes needlesly at every corner.
I can do 1:23.1xx all day long at Race A but can't get my qt better than 1:22.997 need to figure this up.

It's a way of saying thank you, the Aston gave me the inside line and didn't fight too hard so flashing the hazards is the easiest way to acknowledge them, it's like sticking your thumb up out of the window 👍. The TT driver had said hello before the race so I was saying it back

The game hated me this morning.

I decided to have a look at the Viper on N24.
I was the only C in a field of B's. Race went about as predictably as it could have gone. I accidentally hit a Russian viper into the GP hairpin. (He broke a lot earlier than me and I seem to brake early there. :odd:) Got a 1 second penalty. Fair I thought. Was a bit of a survive those on my arse and the track thereafter. I gave space to anyone who needed it as they were faster but I was still able to keep up to within a few seconds of those ahead. On the fast section after Bergwerk I glanced upwards to see I had an extra 1.5 seconds added to my penalty. I'm not sure what for but I doubt I deserved it.
After that I finished 2 seconds from the line in around 14th I think.

Went again in the Jag as I felt comfortable in it before. A few more C's this time but still loads of B's.
Sorta the same kind of race. Made some progress but then mistakes sent me back. Managed to finish lap two this time but still way back.

I decided to get in the M4 as a mini practice for the manu. Glad I did. It's quite short geared so a few corners are a gear higher. Though I will need to practice a bit more as there were a few places it is really understeerey though it could be my wheel which is pissing me off too.
Anywho this race had a few A rated drivers in it too. Great the challenge was upped for no reason. Yeah the same as race 2 really whilst managing to not finish again.

A few BS penalties, especially those for hitting a barrier. Why is this a thing? If I fall off the circuit and even spin but hit the barrier why should I also get a 1.5 second penalty? This just needs to flat out go. I've already lost a bucketload of seconds, don't peanalise me more.

Maybe they run behind a good ghost and can't do anything unless they have a guide? Been having similar things on N24, you'd think the people with Qs about the same as me would be running laps about the same, yet I often get 5+ secs a lap off them and often am pushing people who have even 10 secs better Qs than me. Must admit though that I am fairly consistent, slow and steady really.

I'm some sort of magnet for these type of guys. Granted, the SR on my alt is trash and I need to reign in my temper a bit more - the second swerve where I tagged him was avoidable but I just didn't care at that point. Basically, I take out all my frustration of racers just like him from before out on him in that moment and destroy whatever chance of a decent race I might have had.

Well you have to laugh, of all the places to try and pass. I was really nice gave space on the inside of the right hander and we're going side by side up to the ***** and he tries to go on the outside. He lost about 2 secs can you guess the corner? Race C although I think you should have got it already.

I thought I had that fast lap secured and wrapped up but the draft you got down the Dottinger had other plans...
