Does anyone know if you can draft bump on Bluemoon in DR.A without racking up the penalties? I would like to team up with a friend tonight to work together at getting ahead. However last time I did that I lost 85 SR points in one race! It was still worth it, yet if penalties are added on top it's not going to work. Well I guess it might work once we're reset to DR.B :)

At least my BB Raceway Gr.3 overall stats are looking good from the 3-4 times we've had the combo.

Where do you see the stats specific to the track?
The BB raceway combo was great for me - I think I raced it 6 times and had 5 wins (should've had a 6th, but made a dumb mistake on the 2nd last lap with a big lead).
Took me a couple races to figure out a good 1 stop strategy when I was starting from pole - but once I got that figured out it made the races even easier.
 
"He's turning left! He's Turning left!" I'll let you figure out what race I was in. Took the Vantage for a spin. I was by no means fast, I qualified P15. The grid was mostly my fellow D/Ss, but there was a few aliens slumming it. There was a B/S with a suspiciously familiar name... :gtpflag:.

I can't say it was a clean race. It's oval, where the rule appears to be "rubbin is racin" and if that don't work, lets just ram you into the wall... ideally using another car. Apparently quite a few in my race couldn't quite grasp the concept that if there is someone next to you on a strait and there is enough room for 4 cars, you don't need to side swipe each other :crazy:.

I don't short shift, but for turn 1 I drop to 5th, brake lightly a little earlier and hold it there for most of the corner then plant it and narrowly squeak past the wall. 3rd corner i just coasted for a few seconds then foot into again. That got me about 13 laps, not sure if you cross the start finish line when you get to the pit box. If not then 14 laps. I ran out of fuel just as I got to the beginning of the pit entry road.

Finished P12. Didn't loose much in the way of Dr and got back to Sr 99 despite the fender benders.

Another day above Dr 1 :D.
 
Are any other DS4 users finding themselves unusually competitive in the Megane? I’m guessing the disadvantage of not having a wheel is somewhat negated by the FF handling?

Finally the worst happen, win the race + clean race and get DC. One thing I most hate from DR system just this, you lose 2000 point cause this they should give no DR penalty for people who DC. I think I should stop play this game until I get new internet provider.

When I used to drive with a DS4 the Megane (and any other FF car) were very easy to drive, since I've switched to a wheel I've yet to drive any FF so I can't tell you if they're much easier on a DS4, but I was always most competitive in the FF when I was a DS4 user.

That might be so. The thing you have to do with FF cars is constantly spam the brake and accelerator to get the car to pivot round the turns. This is more achievable with the controller compared to the smooth inputs favoured by other drivetrains.
 
Set a 2:04.314 but couldn‘t get my fastest sectors strung together for once, alway one small error in all of the laps. Opt. was a 03.829

Let‘s see how the races go

That's a shame. I was finally in a position to help you with your Dr reset :p. I think you drove through me :lol:.
 
I’m on a streak of five clean races!!! What do I do?

Keep going as I am or do Blue Moon without qualifying and drive around at the back?

Edit. I got the achievement (6 clean races) even with an Italian lagging into the side of me a few times.

Yeh Blue Moon. You started P2 or P3 I think with an Evo. I was lapped by P1 - P5 so I'm pretty sure you would have been one of those. :gtpflag:

Earlier I got smacked clean off from behind and nothing, not even a penalty for me. :lol: Then another guy took "revenge" on me after I accidently nudged him wide and would have let him back past once it was safe to do so had he not just floored it and smashed straight into me ruining both of our races, as he got a big penalty for it as he slowed way down. I reported him but I doubt it'll do any good.

2:02.5 for me at the nurburgring, didn't get many laps in though before heading to the in-laws. Optimum was 2:02.3 grrr. Have fun racing guys

Nice time again, I can see how it's possible but it'd take me a while (if ever) to match your current time never mind go quicker. 👍​

I use Evo for better handling hahahahaha now I use RCF for fuel map trick

The RC F's fuel consumption on oval is ridiculous and it hardly goes slower with short shifting.

Well I get 22% in lap 11 before pit with fuel map 2 + slipstream + shortshift.
you only need play safe in 1st part then after pit just floor till finish (make sure not get penalty tho)

You just fill to 100% and you can run another 9 laps with no slipstream at full power?

I just put around more 10% than recommended so I can finish on 0.1 liter and that's full power after pitting. As long as PD not bring stupid fuel thing like on manufacture (5x fuel) you supposed to be doing only 1 pitting.

I don't even ever put 100% fuel on Blue Moon in any car.
