How do you guys manage your fuel tank in race C? The best I've done so far with the Lexus was to go to pits with 22% left (I always go in pits at the end lap 5 and I don't change the in-race fuel option, always keep it to 1). That way I can often increase the gap with the rest of the field by 3 to 5 seconds.
Havent raced Gr2 and the C race today. But at Suzuka i ussualy go map 2-3 in the first section if needed. Other then that just shift early, slipstream and lift and cruise. That should save you some.

Much easier back S 99 on this Daily, by the way which best fuel map strategy on race right now? I use 2x + Shortshift only get around 14% when pitting. I saw somebody in two race get 35% when pitting same lap with me.

another note I still hate defending from DR.A player

1:48.197 at suzuka, my sector timer didn't seem to work properly, I worked out myself that my optimal is about a 1:48.0xx
Such a long track to string together every corner perfect though, so I'll take that time for now, but i do still have that nagging feeling

True, but when @bmxmitch first recommended it, it was properly niche and a decent undercover weapon... now it is on the leaderboards most days for group 3 and, although I've now driven it for months, I look like a META sheep.

Sometimes meta just ends up being the best way to go. I use the 458 Gr4 almost every race but yesterday after a race at Nurb I wanted to drive something different and used the Antenza. I don't look at the leaderboards and "copy" but use what feels best to me on a particular track. The Atenza let me attack the crap out of the last chicane which is where I was losing time in the 458. The meta is not always the fastest for me though.

In Gr3 I'm a slave to the 458 but sometimes still like to use the 911, SLS or FT-1. Depends on my mood, but I don't give a rats ass what anybody thinks :)

There are still cars in both classes I have yet to try "in anger" in sport races, the lexus Gr3 being one of them.

True... and that chicane really can gain/lose you a lot of time!

Is anyone in the 1'47's yet? Some of you guys are far too quick. 👍

1:47.284 is currently fastest by some from Japan.

I think ill have a go at this to. Love Suzuka amd havent driven any Gr2 car yet.
First of all, Not yet in Europe, someone did a 1:47.9xx the when gr2 was at suzuka the other day, so I would expect it tbh, I was kind of hoping to do it myself aswell although I think 1:48.0 is more realistic.
And second, what the absolute hell? A 1:47.2? I need to see that lap, in the NSX?

I'm uploading the replay

Harsh. How young is your baby? Until recently I was lucky enough that I could put her in a chair with some toys and she'd be content  now she won't stay still,... (baby not wife)

Alfa Cipher? AlphaBob?

She’s 6 months now, she’s starting to develop a fascination with motorsports which is good, we watched the F1 on Sunday and she enjoys watching replays and we watch my YouTube subscriptions together, although I have to give her back to her mother when it’s race time.

Good stuff - encourage that!

Mine is 8 months and now crawls everywhere and climbs up on stuff, so I can't take my eyes of her to get a qualifying lap in... let alone a race :(

I was hoping I would be able to watch the race at Monza this weekend with her if I could find a stream as I doubt her mother would want to watch it

Should be a good race, I’ve never watched this series before.

Everyone who plays GT Sport should have to watch races like these to learn how to race properly, a bit like having to go to church before you can get married in one.

That daft racing etiquette video is pointless because no one takes it on board
