Last couple of races, felt like I was racing bots. Have a look, I dropped to the back just to check.

Those are definitively bots!
What a shame, i guess there are not enough players so the bots fill the grid.
Is this happening in EMEA reg. aswell?

If there aren't enough people to play (rare in EMEA even at 3am) the grid just doesn't fill up 100%. I once had a race B against 12 people for example

That's what I thought, but the last place car falls way way off the pace(like AI in Custom Race). Even for someone that may not be quick. I was also backing off the throttle and short shifting early. The last car's qualifying times, are 10-17 seconds slower than my own time. Doing a qualifying lap before the timer expires is a possibility. It's just, I probably could go quicker staying in 5th, around the whole circuit. Just didn't look right.

Maybe on the phone, using auto drive on and of not to quit the race and lose massive points, going for a Clean Race achievement. Millions of reasons.
 
Race C Gr.2 will be called Mad Mad Max east outer loop race.

And if you see the back player is D DR rating, I have been meet some DS and DA player couple days ago when my rating falling down and they really slow compare with B rating.

Just need to go one better for absurdity. Maybe a Gr.1 race followed by a Red Bull standard race on the east loop.
 
I also thought the same about skipping race C after losing a lot of points at Monza, but after 3 races i have lost barely any S/R in fact the last 2 races i got some back. I also got a 7th and 4th twice, a lot of drivers didn't seem to notice they don't needed to save fuel, also its possible to just fuel as the tires on my Lexus lasted fine in the race when i didn't change so i could gain a few seconds. Good luck, and give it a go.

I have a friend on my original account that is consistently 10-20 seconds off my pace. There was one time where they were early enough to set a Top 10 time so I watched it. It's not that they're that slow, it's just that they keep going with their quali time even if they crashed off or spun. That's why they have that time

Judging from the clip, they're inconsistent enough to probably have those kinds of qualifying, too

I can't fathom how the Top 10 guys get around that track 90% flat out! Set an abyssmal 1:49, and knowing that I'll be placed midfield in that time, I'm not gonna go through with it :lol:
 
Maybe I'm blind or just haven't noticed at all, but when I check my GTS profile online via PC, my SR rating is A+. Has that always been like that? My current SR is 87 (thanks to some Tokyo Express mayhem - It's GR2 so I just can't resist!)

Hm, that's something new for sure - I remember being S a few days ago (mine is also displayed as A+ and I'm at 97 currently) - maybe some changes to the SR/DR system will be introduced with the incoming update...who knows

This really shouldn’t be the case, we shouldn’t have tracks we have to avoid due to the fear of losing so much DR and SR. This really needs a fix but what is it?

Having a penalty system is definitely better than not but it does need sorting. I personally only race tracks I’m 100% confident on else it lands you in all sorts of problems. DR resets are ridiculous as well, I can understand having the deterrent but it needs to be based on more than just a couple races!!

Also noticed a significant drop in DRS ranked drivers lately. Was around the 1500 mark now 1200 ish

DR's and SR's must decrease ovedrall when they have races in Tokyo EVERY day! :( :yuck::yuck::yuck:
