Sadly as long as PD continues to allow people to scrub penalties, people are going to do stuff like this to try to optimize their penalty situation and create road hazards for others. Scrubbing needs to be removed, full stop. I also think they should be served in the pit at least on endurance races, but I'd be happy just to see scrubbing taken out and all penalties get added to the time at the end.

I agree with everything but pitting for penalties. If you pitted in to scrub a penalty, likelyhood is that you will be back in soon after. I believe adding penalty at the end is a good option.
 
They could add the penalties and after having accumulated more than x seconds then you would have to pit to serve the penalties.

This would discourage people to keep driving dirty after a few penalties and for once people that keep ruining other people’s race would have a bigger penalty than the driver they have ruined the race.

As it is now they put off road and the race is over for you yet they get a 5 seconds penalty.

I think they lost the track completely with all the changes where it only got worse, now it turns out the system from start of the game was best.

But yeah, they should remove scrubbing. All those corner cutting grass pushers would end up either disqualified or seriously gimped.

The only problem right now is that everyone involved gets penalty, which is kinda dumb..
 
Yes but that is a different problem. That is a problem of the algorithm to determine who gets a penalty and I dare say it’s a lot more difficul to get right than to apply said penalties.
 
Can someone explain the rules for driving through cars with a penalty. My last race on Nurb24 turned into a **** show with cars drafting inside each other and driving through other cars. What is going on with this game. Has PD completely lost the plot?

It doesn't always work as I still get hit by cars with a penalty, maybe thinking they can drive through me? That's A/S rooms, I'm working my way back to DR.B now, see if the situation is any better there. If you see a car stopped on the side before the finish, it's probably me.

I had very good races today in Brands Hatch. Esspecially with my third account. Gained 16000 DR und became DR/A level there. :)

For the first time in I think ever, I was disconnected from a Daily Race. I was doing the Group 3 race on the Nurburgring and sitting in third... Thankfully I could have a go at it again and gain some DR and SR points. Again I chose the Supra Racing Concept, a brilliant car to drive with exceptional balance and came second. One thing that does annoy me though are people who cause crashes on the first corner. Especially on such a slow one.

I have big DR loss in current mix but that's not problem for me cause run in N24H always fun, but this fuel notification just stupid. Why it flashing? why it placed more middle like that when my focus always to that point. More it flashing and stay on that position more chance I will spinning, this one biggest killing immersion to me. I hope they relocate to bottom mirror, or should I move to chase view?

Yesterday there was a guy blocking me, I had a second on him on pace, he kept changing lines, I thought to myself "screw him if he blocks me", went for the inside, he blocked, I got a 4 sec penalty, he ended up on the grass, my pace improved over a sec per lap, 12 lap to go, so, I lost less time punting him (he started by dancing his car ahead of me), I had no penalty to pay in a few laps. So, I totally agree with you, leave the penaltys to the end of the race, because you can go dirty and go unscathed on long races.
 
I don't really get the hate for Monza, and Gr.2 is probably the most fun I've had on this game. So I'm happy.
 
I did drop 13 SR points in 2 races. Dropped to A before getting to 86 and S. Amazingly in race 2 i had no penalties even thought every man/woman (and their dog) hit me.
 
Don’t you believe it. I get my Sr back to 99 at Monza today. Recovered all Sr lost yesterday at Brand.:yuck:

With Q time 1:39.412 started at front row in all 4 races. No pole:lol: Mostly clean in all races. Even got consecutive clean race bonus. 👍

Best finish was a 2nd as a Senna from Austria always occupied the pole and 1st. He was really fast and no error at all.:bowdown:

I know I don’t have good race pace. I would like to avoid racing with race team racers in the future. They just don’t want(know) to follow anyone.:ouch::ouch: I don’t mind being overtaken by fast guy. Please do it at the right place in a safe manner. Never at chicane.:banghead::banghead::banghead: It seems it is my fault to start ahead of
them.:grumpy:
 
First race I got punted off by someone in Lap 1...
Thing is I already completed T1 by then! I'm not even mad I'm amazed at how people manage to divebomb after a turn :lol:
Got held up pretty much the whole race after that, and I got a bit too aggressive, it must be said :( Sorry :(
