Thought as much just need to keep practicing am down to a 1.33.504 in the Lancer. So far i have tried the RC F, Lancer, Supra, C7, Vantage, RCZ and the Genesis.

I tried several cars already....
Did minimum of 6 laps with each
Managed under :32 with Z4, 458 and Porsche
Set best time with the Porsche

I like the gears on Porsche and Ferrari

1:31:12 with the Supra. The closest I have ever been to the top10.

I’m about to start my first race but I’m a bit scared about keeping it together with no assists. The torque on this car out of slow corners is murderous.

I hate those little speed bumps in the middle of the curbs in S1. They don't even keep people from corner cutting, you can straddle both and pick up 3 or 4 tenths. Just put grass there or assess a penalty if someone cuts too much.

I think it just wants a 1 second penalty if you cut it too much, it has a nice flow atm but yeah it gets abused too much. Same as Maggiore. I seem to get matched against so called “better drivers” but the only thing they’re better at is cutting corners

First time running this track. 32.2 in the Renault. Done a couple of races, first one was nice and clean finished 6th after starting 10th. Second one not so much, got a couple of penalties in the S section after contact from going side by side. Started and finished 12th in that one. Wasn't sure on the track at first but I've enjoyed racing it

I like them. If you get it wrong and put a wheel on the bump you lose 3 tenths instead

Torque is not your biggest problem in Gardens, it's trying not to get rammed through corners :D

Started P2, finished P3. Uneventful clean race. The car felt tamer in the race than in qualifying. Strangely enough.

Can't get the hang off the gardens. Beat thing to do for gardens is stick plants in them. Anyway will keep trying to get under 1.32. Currently just inside top 600 in emea. Not good :banghead::banghead::banghead:

That pit exit is a PITA (race C). Went wide after someome exited pits.

Tried two cars in qualifying at the DT Gardens this morning, in the Renault RS01 I did 1:31.161 then I tried the Porsche and managed to do 1:30.976 with an optimal of 1:30.752, the lap was in the top ten briefly, dam I wish I could nail that optimal or do better. :D

I had a really fun race without putting lots of effort in doing a great lap for qualy! :)

The track felt really nice to race on. But those chicanes that PD loves using in the dragon trails aren't the safest in the world :boggled:

I like that it's kind of a gamble. You can play it safe and go around them, but lose time. Or, if you're trying to catch the person in front of you, or trying to make up time, you can roll the dice and try to go directly over them and gain a lot of time. It makes me laugh though when a car hits the curb and gets all squirrelly up on two wheels or even catches air. The new DT track is really fun.

Splitting the red sausage seems best, but too much and you get a penalty

It also depends which car, some fly better some not so good xD

I flew so high up in 458, the only reason I didn't end up in trees was the invisible wall haha

Quali 33.1, enough for p10 on grid at Dr B- C :boggled:

Pitted late and got to 1st, just to get rammed off by p2 at turn after esses, I get penalty cuz I followed line and went on outside. Finished 9:banghead:

Guess the flag.

Got a 1:32.598 @ Race C Dragon Garden in the I’m pretty sure it’s a Lambo. It is solid in qualifying, but for me is a handful in race. Went from P1 to p nothing.

It still amazes me how rough the tail is. So sad, because there’s so much fun clean racing to be had. One racer decides this is there position and they will go to the ends of the earth to defend P13 or whatever is just beyond me.

Maybe I’m not made right, but I hope not.

Whoever at PD designed DT Gardens has no sense of rhythm. It has no soul to it. A good track feels like a sexy dancing partner who knows how to move, but Gardens has two left feet. That hard left-hander might be the worst turn in GTS.

Problem is also that it has way too many corners where one can get rammed without rammer getting a penalty, like the hard left after esses. No matter what they do there, they get away with it.

Ferrari, but I'm not complaining about my pace. Even when I watch alien replays it looks awkward, hardly any flow.

I've raced it a bunch of times in GR.4 and GR.3 now and yeah, it doesn't flow. I did 7 races today, that's plenty laps to get used to any track and by the end I still didn't feel any rhythm. I was driving the R.S.01 first, than the Corvette C7, best lap a high 1:32, yet by the end I got quite bored with the track.

I didn't have a problem gaining places or remaining penalty free, it's just not that much fun to drive. It's too wide with even more ridiculous track limits inviting all sorts of weird angles for cars to come from. You have cars jumping curbs and squeezing into / blocking the inside to prevent a fast corner exit. Plus it invites people to slow down and serve penalties bit by bit in front of you before the chicane, then unghost as soon as you get close by stepping on the gas again.

The track made me laugh though when I got squeezed going into the pit, one car on my left, one on the right. Guess who made it in lol. It gave me a 5 sec penalty yet couldn't stop laughing for the whole out lap :)

I finally got a chance to do a few races at Gardens. Definitely a mixed bag of sorts. That Instanbul-like corner followed by the below ground section is definitely my favorite part and I do like how T1 is something other than the all-too-common hairpin or chicane. Not sure about that left-right-left at the end of the first sector since getting the right line a struggle but it can set up for good overtake opportunities if someone messed that up.

That hairpin after the straight, however, needs a date with a bulldozer. It's a divebomber's paradise and I was on the receiving end of it one times too many. Still don't like the section after the hairpin since it requires lines that invite people to attempt overtakes that aren't possible without contact. To me, the track tries to be both a Gr.3 and Gr.4 friendly track but it ends up not being ideal for either.

It can be a matter of preference but my favorite tracks are the ones that keep super sharp corners and chicanes to a minimum. That way, it becomes about trying to keep up momentum by smoothing out those inputs. Oh, and I also appreciate elevation changes for variety and nice scenery to boot. A track that is within a botanical garden with some hilly sections like Apricot Hill would've been ideal.

Dragon Trail-Seaside is like that. Mainly a touring car/momentum type of track.

I like DT Gardens(DTG), because in the Gr.3 Aston, I can just about rest between the straights. Drafting, cruising around turn 1 and getting the middle rhd corner of the first left-right-left, just right. i've seen sections like that in GT racing. The finish at Spa is like that(without the extra corner).

I feel I've raced there enough to know how the driver behind will react. If there are two cars directly behind, i give up the spot. I usually get it back on corner exits or down the straights. At the two hairpins, I turn in wide to avoid an "outbraking" attack. Guess I've been fortunate at that track.
