I think i dont play the GR.4 today not anymore. Done two races and everytime i get pushed out for no reason. Starting always in top 5 with DR:S/A SR:S. Only a few players gets a positive SR, the other mostly red. Makes no fun today and it is a waste of driver rating...

Did Gr.4 race with Hurucan TC off(not too hard to drive) and brake balance set to -4. Set a 1:28:997 qualifying time to get me in 4th. Finished in 2nd. It needs a power buff for the straights however, it's not the fastest in cornering either.

Fun simple race if you're not looking to challenge yourself too much.

The Porsche LMP definitely needs lots of nerfing.

I didn't bother with the Gr.1 race, feels weird with a wheel. Although tried a couple laps qualifying and got my best time using the McLaren. My times were still pretty horrible compared to others. I'm not good with Gr.1.

I refuse to drive that completely unrealistic giant turn at Lago Maggiore. It's just so silly

I'm not sure about that. The Mazda was mostly dominating on Interlagos. It makes sense that the 919 Hybrid with its 4WD would do well on a circuit with many slow turns, as it's fairly stable accelerating from 1st gear.
Haven't raced on that race and haven't tested so I cannot tell.
First time I raced Gr.1 cars was today and I can tell that some changes need to be implemented.

@Blacki2k2 So you‘re here lol I was confused by being greeted by some random player I have never seen before on sunday

The Gr1 race is quite fun, but the same amount of love for the Nordschleife I have I also have of hate for the GP circuit. It‘s garbage :D Managed to be a second faster in the TS050 than in the Porsche, lead half a race until I spun around the chicane before I was to enter the pits and then ended up 3rd (5th if 4th didn‘t spun himself and 2nd didn‘t had a 18 sec penalty in the end). The winner was really fast and had me under pressure for most time of the first half, really close and clean racing 👍

First time Gr.1 for me. Finally forked out the $1M for the Porsche... More than worth it. I was struggling with 1:45.000 in the Toyota, Bugatti as well as in the MacLaren. 10 Laps with the 919 and I am down to 1:42.200 with ease. At least 3% too much power in comparison.
Yeah the electric motor needs to be calculated better. The Hyundai GT1 shows 600bhp or so while the Porsche shows only 500 or so. But the Porsche is much faster in a straight line. It’s a god***** rocket ship!

I used the Toyota 050(sp?) and had no issues hanging with the 919 in the straights and drafted past them pretty easily. The biggest issue with the Gr1's is that you lose MAHOOSIVE amounts of time for every little mistake.

Gonna try driving GR.1 for the first time tonight in a sport mode, wish me luck!
Any suggestions on which cars are a good place to start?

What is the optimum strategy? Just about to do my first race, are people pitting?

Pit lane isn't too long on Nurb GP, and it seems like 12 laps + tires wearing out faster would point towards a pit, but what do I know.

Porsche, Toyota TS050 or the Mazda are the go to cars I think.
Stopping is advised, The fuel won‘t last for the entire race if you don‘t use FM4 or 5 and the tires wear out quite a bit towards the end costing you 5ish seconds per lap.

The GR.4 race has actually been a bit on an SR killer. Lost 18 points in one race, 12 in another. That hurts when you're only getting 4 back for 100% clean race.

Cannot get the lap time down to low 1:27s needed for top qualifying spots.

The Gr1 race is great fun, bloody hard to follow somebody close as everyone is taking different lines and the braking distances are short, so there are inevitably one or two bumps but have just had two very good races and my arms are knackered! I might turn down the torque next time :D

Just had some brilliant races in the 208 around Dragon Trail. Won the last race, top 3 less than a tenth apart, not a single bit of dirty racing between us.

I would probably do alright on Dragontrail as One Makes seem to be my strength, yet I don't want to miss the fun of GR.1. Why does it have to be with ridiculous tire wear though.

Anyway DR set to downward trajectory, try to keep up with the back of the pack (That's all 1:43.84 gets me) and hopefully next time I won't get rammed while going into the pit carefully. Sorry, still got to practice my slam dunk pit entry.

What's the protocol here, cross the divider, bounce off the wall? Apparently slowing down for the corner is not the correct approach :)

Isn't the Toyota also a hybrid?
Also, the Gr.1's are much easier to drive with huge amounts of grip so you actually lose less time for mistakes than in lower classes!

On GR1 Nurburgring GP this evening and winning most of them in a LM55. Is an all rounder rather than the only other challenger I haven't tried which is Porsche that has the acceleration.

Race C
8 laps in Mont Panorama

Managed this before going to sleep...

I know I will wake up out of the list!!!

GR.1 on Nurb GP was exciting. Best finish 4th place, not bad for starting mid pack, and a clean race bonus on the last one. Those track limits are loose! Overall gained another 1400 DR against expectations, it's going to be harder again tomorrow.

Difficult choice tomorrow as well, GR.1 in Monza or GR.4 in Bathurst. When am I supposed to sleep...

I was the only person using a Huracan in my races :)

That damn Peugeot again!

Won’t somebody think of the children

What are today's races?

I know, right... I think there aren't enough sectors, so proportion of sectors with red SR is too high. Not one person finished with blue in the 3 races I did on it.

GR1 at Monza can you imagine the chicanery!?

**** THAT
