If you type someone's name here and say they're dirty or cheating, it gets indexed by search engines. Now they're being abused on the world's largest Gran Turismo (and racing game) website and anyone searching their username on Google gets directed here where we're calling them dirty cheats, and it becomes our (the staff's) problem. And that doesn't go away. We don't like people bringing their dramas here.

If it's a video, it doesn't get indexed by search engines. If you put it in the video description it will be, but that's Youtube's problem, not ours.


So long as you're sticking to our rules when you're talking about the video, that's fine.

But beware that a lot of people have posted videos before purporting to show other drivers behaving badly and ended up being pulled up by the community on their own driving instead. Make sure you're beyond reproach.
 
I just did B qualifier with 5 different cars, and each one of them gave me 1.07 on first sector :boggled:

Citroen GT seems to give me best flow, but in general im struggling to get under 2.07.. Anyone got some secret tips that I missed from top 10 replays? :D

Thanks for the clarification. Definitely doesn’t seem worth it in the end. I’ve cooled off since that post, so you guys have nothing to worry about as far as me bringing unnecessary drama to the boards is concerned. I was mainly venting.

Don't know why but I find Maggiore extremely difficult to master...I can say that this is the hardest track for me and I hate it a bit :D

Are you cutting corners and running wide, that get's you a bit of extra time here without penalty. Otherwise it's hard to know where you are going wrong (or can improve a little) without video. It could also still just not be the track for you or you just need more practice there.

Who knows, small brain maybe, however get a good run out of that last turn (like above, cut the hell out of it) and they won't stop you getting past unless they actually assault your car or something very drastic.

Well, I do try to cut some of the corners, but I'm not as successful as the top guys doing this :) otherwise you're right, I feel this is neither my track nor I have practice there :) will have to spend some time to improve myself on it
 
Dropped 33 sr and went from 99S to 66 in one race B to one single 🤬 who kept shoving me off through turns without getting a single penalty, while I accumulated 10s total..:banghead:

And this was for 5th place...
 
I have my replacement throttle spring from TM!!! I've not raced for a while n just getting back in the swing in race B qually. Might see some of you on track later if I feel consistent :gtpflag:

Not so fast! :D

Thanks to fine cupkakes of sr A/B, I dropped another 25pts and went down to sr B.. That's 50 total in 2 races, I was getting bumped constantly:sick:

Gained 1k dr tho, but it seems that a lot of low dr B sr A/B still can't handle the fact that person in front chooses the line, not the other way around, combined with overtakes with bonus of pushing out..
Had awesome first race with B/S ppl, gained 4 places and got to 99 Sr. Next two disaster:banghead:
Quitting for today before I get reset..
 
Don't know what this guy was doing. Answers on a postcard please.

Not to take anything away from your win, congrats!, yet it could be nice if there were also stars for most cars over taken, most consistent pace, shortest pit stop, longest draft chase, least tire wear, fuel saver, biggest comeback. Perhaps all as different icons shown in the result screen for everyone to see. next to that nasty red dot, a nice clean race check mark etc. The game needs more carrots, it's got enough sticks now.

Sorry but imho 1st was a bit your fault too, you can‘t just reenter the racing line after over-cooking the corner. 2nd incident saw you leaving the door wide open and I would‘ve gone for that gap, too. In the 3rd incident you just squeezed the other driver into the wall :dunce:

Yeah, 1st one is bit my fault too, I just couldn't see the guy going right into me.
2nd one that guy was doing his penalty on racing line almost at downhill and I had to avoid him, that's why I left little bit open, still doesn't give him right to cut into corner where there's no space for another car and squeeze me out by pushing left. Sure, he could squeeze through, but why the pushing out on exit.
Last one I was exiting turn on racing line and he goes in too fast to squeeze through grass, can't see that on radar after turn, it was obvious I would exit and shift right for racing line, I have right to pick line once as the one ahead, he could have easily gone on the inside with that speed :/
 
I haven't tried Maggiore today, it was bad enough last week I didn't want Maggiore to become a track I dislike. 2:04.6 is my pb, which puts me "1,559 / 84,186 - 1.8519%" so I'm not too concerned about beating it

I just entered into 1 race (Maggiore) drivers taking each other other out on the first corner. Maggiore is a penalty madhouse, no thanks and especially Gr.4

I was using the Viper and saved nord_clane's Viper time of 2.03.019 so I still have some time to get before I am totally happy 👍

It was turn 4, and the rollercoaster hairpin for me. Always a Megane late braking and crashing into the side of my viper. I wasn’t prepared to go for it again today.
 
Race B blog post..
Let's do a quick race.. And qualify 11! Such a great place to start from.. Let's have a messed up auto start where 12th is right up my ass when we are let lose.. And let's celebrate me being caught behind 10 that had the same problem and 12th going up the inside towards a corner he will never make..
I made it out of the corner without any penalty and had to tip toe through a field blinking with penalties and ended up in last place. Before the race was over I did get a good side smack by someone that thought I hit him on purpose.. And thanks to the disco lights I was promoted to 13, a fitting number. It was fun while it lasted
