Is it a mismatch of Sr? I was the only Sr A.:D

Looks like that is a lobby of people with low S Sr, probably 80-86 ish, plus some D/S racers, and I assume you are high 70 A, and hence you are in the best lobby it can put you in due to your high DR too.

It bases matchmaking off your SR Number and not purely the rank letter. A low S SR Rank won't be in the same lobby as a high S SR Rank driver with a similar DR.

@ShadowPeter To report someone click on their name on the screen at the end of the race and select report for interfering with the race, or something like that. Revenge take outs have to be ban worthy, regardless of who was at fault originally.

Thanks for the info ASH32. Well, if is that the case, i will avoid making revenges, but i'm not sure if the moderation is severe, despite this situation.

@BallPtPenTheif Nop, i just criticized him, i didn't curse that person (sometimes i do with the other people, but always under of the rules). It is to see if he feels shame.

@banckzy I see what you did there. lol

It can happen when there are not enough very low SR S to match with. You must be almost S yourself.

All those guys at D/S should just lower their SR though, they'd get much fairer races then.

I don't know if reporting does anything either but if we report enough clear incidents like this maybe we'll eventually find out. People shouldn't be able to get away with things like that but it is possible they will, even with reporting but without reporting they most certainly will get away with it.

Oh I see now, I had your roles reversed. The barge pass you pulled is a little iffy, but that corner is so huge and stuff happens

So you were cursing at him in PM after the race? The way you posted it, I assumed that he was being vulgar with you. Bad form man.

I don't know about that. I'd cuss someone out for going wide open after such a minor incident as well. Kids that ram people off for simple racing incidents don't have a place in sport mode imo.

Yeah I usually don't pay attention but it was bold. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to verse one of you guys, though I'm just on controller

That would be kewl. Unless you are down in the mud it's a little unlikely except for mismatch. I'm a DR/D on the verge of going up to DR/C...again. Last time I lasted 2 days before being sent down. I also use a controller :).

Edit: lost 2000 Dr

OUCH :banghead:. I got lucky and was disconnected early enough not to get that hit.

I drive AT, my fingers already start hurting without shifting...

I had that with the PS2, but with the PS4 controller the springy hooky L2 and R2 make gear changes so much more comfy. Wouldn't work for say Robben since he uses these for throttle and brake.

Lago Maggiore today was rough. First two races presented me with 5sec penalties for basically nothing. So I ended up in SR A...
Managed to climb up to SR S though and had some great races!

Slowly climbing towards the 20 wins :)

Finally got 3 stars result and climbed back to Sr S.

Race A - Blue Moon Bay Speedway - Toyota 86 GT '15
Race B - Autodrome Lago Maggiore GP - Gr.4
Race C - Blue Moon Bay Infield A - Gr.2

Today it seems is the day I officially hate PD for putting in two favourite things on a day I should be hard work at my day job.

Blue Moon is my favourite track and the 86 is my favourite Toyota and I'm liking the Grp2 class so that's at least two races I will have to try
and find time for later.

I’ve just done 2 clean races, after the SR hell of the raptors in Tokyo yesterday, and my SR has stayed the same. Not sure why

Hows Race C doing??? Do Gr2 cars behave well on the Infield?? Generally that race is not much into SR penalization, but with Gr.2 Bullets running on .. we never know...

I did 3 race C's this morning in the NSX. It's twitchy in 2nd but controllable.
First race I didn't know how it was on fuel and tire wear so I just went flat out, spun out all by myself on lap 6 and got back on in P4. Decided I try short pitting on lap 8. Took the lead back after coming around on lap 9 while P1 thru P3 were in the pits. Short shifted at 50% of the RPM bar the rest of the race and won with a 6 second lead.
So, if you need to, you can go 10 laps if you short shift the NSX.

Finished 3rd the second race and another win in race 3 for a 600pt gain in DR total. It was a good morning

Thanks Randy! :) Great help from you! :)

2nd gear has to be used only in one or 2 points (hairpins) .. aint it??

And about any problem with getting slammed from other racers and racing confusion?? (SR infliction??)

Yeah, 2nd in the hairins. But just till the rpm's are getting up then short shift to 3rd to keep it controllable.
Race 2 I got slammed from behind hard into the wall while in 2nd place at first hairpin. So watch out there. No penalty for me. Must have been intentional cause guy didn't give position back. But, I caught and passed him before end of race so I was satisfied.

Edit: Got a clean victory after demoted to Sr A. Strange night that no clean race at Sr S but only at Sr A.

I've seen the same thing. I think that people in A are still hungry to get to S and drive accordingly. In SR S, I think people view their SR as a bank from which they can drive more aggressively. More drivers have also rapidly bounced back from A to S, so their fear of SR demotion is far less imposing.

Lago is harsh in that way, it's weird how penalties are obtained at some moments.

Btw, that moment when they invest millions into most graphically advanced racing game, yet they fail to make simple code to tell when to write Sieg and when to write Siege :D:D

I use those for throttle and brake as well, braking under a little throttle sometimes works better, dunno why. I'm never comfortable on the DS4 operating both bumpers at the same time, yet I could give shifting a try with x and o. Or just be lazy and over take them again after the pit. Got to leave some advantages to those wheel and pedal users :)

The Vette shifts very late on the long straight though, AT finally shifts up after the bridge, no economy mode.

X + O or X + Square worked best for me on pad. I also used L2 + R2 for accelerate and brake. I only changed to manual for GTSport but it gives much better car control and fuel economy.

It's worth try to get used to for sure.

Don't know why but I find Maggiore extremely difficult to master...I can say that this is the hardest track for me and I hate it a bit :D

Bit the same for me, get into 2.04s ok but after just can’t push past to get a 2.03. Never quite nail the last section consistently.
