Pd should buff porsche cayman and nerf megane on weight because last time they nerfed it lost to much power but i think with weight it would work

The 1% power boost to the Gr.4 Cayman was much needed and I can tell some difference now on long strights as not every single Gr.4 car leaves it in the dust but it really needed to be at 95% and not 94%

It started raining so I postponed my plans for a couple hours and did Brand's GR.2 instead. I'm barely hanging on to DR.B without qualifying, close to DR.A again. Great track for that, best result was 3rd place with clean race bonus. Most positions were from people driving themselves or each other off but I also managed plenty sweet passes and some close races after catching up to the front. 6 laps is a nice length.

DR.B saved me a couple times, car messing up in front can't avoid, bump him, no penalty! It corrected his course anyway, helped him along. People rubbing in the corner not quite holding their line, no penalty! Getting bumped from behind into another car, no penalty! Getting cut off by someone blind to radar, no penalty! The only penalties I git was from taking a corner a bit too tight, and one early race where I didn't avoid a diver well enough.

Mount Panorama tonight, no qualifying, DR.B shield up.

GR.2 Midnight race just literally become NSX festival, not everyone good driving NSX instead they make alot big crash in race

Lol @ NSX hotlappers at Brands when they figure it's not the same to hotlap and race in an NSX, waving and oversteering all over the place :D
Crawled out of sr C without damage, only got punted twice(personal best for that track I think haha).

Edit: quitting before it goes downwards :D

Gr2 at brands hatch is officially my favourite combo ever! I usually only do Race C, but when I saw the Race B combo, I had to bite. Started P2, wiped out on the first lap, down to P9. In the following epic 5-1/2 laps I made myself thru the field all the way to P1 with 2 last lap passes! Boo Yeah! Win #12

On Brands Hatch just now..someone flashing their high beams at me then decides to smash into my rear into a turn and runs me off the track. I drop from 5th to 13th.

Dirty?

If it's a controller player, the lights could be flashing by accident. On twisty circuits, I've done that without knowing. Only found out I've done it after watching replays.

Is anyone else getting a lot of Network Errors preventing them from joining races today? Haven't had any in the past but getting a lot today.

Last night I decided to try the F1500T-A as I hadn't driven it yet. After about 45 mins of getting familiar with the car I felt comfortable with entering a race. As I was waiting for race practice to end I was debating weather or not this was a good idea since it was NurbGP. And my last racing stint had dropped me to SR/B in part because of this track. Practice ends and I get disconnected. I took this as an omen and went to Lagos instead.

Happened to me a couple days ago at N24. I won and said I was done. Then, I cheekily entered again and just as we started, I got disconnected. :D

The Megane is good on the straights but it seemed weak in the corners.
Yep. My 86 did pretty damn good. Pulling away from one behind and catching another across the top. Excellent fuel economy and tyre life. I should have left the old tyres on.

I only came up on one megane while using the Lambo. I would lose ground even with a better corner exit and a tow but I made all that back up in corners very easily. That car didn’t seem that good to me.

Never mind, I accept it. We - turtles :) - should learn our breaking points regardless of the cones. (And PD should code track limits consequently /endofmyusualrant ;))

Edit: just to make clear what I meant, as I'm not native english, "I accept" meant not that I accept you apology, as you absolutely don't have to. I wanted to say that I accept the situation, that anyone can have other intentions and other approaches, and that's not necessarily happening with "make harm to others" in mind.
Learning braking points besides cones do help a long way :) placing cones in safe places from PD's side could help as well (and yeah adjust track limits)
So consequently, tell us what you really think. :D I know what you're saying though, the penalties need to be handed out more consistently. And that's not just for track limits. I would like to see everyone, regardless of rank, receive the same penalties for incidents on track. I feel this would go a long way in cleaning up the racing in daily races. Also I have no problems with the track limits whatever they are. I think if they are going to allow a corner to be cut then take advantage of it. If you don't, you'll lose time to the people who do.
I'm a hypocrite because I will try to make the most of the track limits that is available, but hear me out  I do like to have a stricter track limit penalty. Not like Interlagos strict where they didn't actually do anything in terms of actual limits, but just turned up the notch when you do get the penalty, but something like Le Mans strict. I'm sure not everyone will like me for saying this, but I personally like the track limits at Le Mans. Yes it does hand out penalties sometimes when you have only two wheels on the kerbs, but for me it's better than being able to abuse the whole corner :)

You watch any real life race and drivers are always pushing the track limits to see what they can get away with.
Yup! I forgot what article it is, but I read somewhere that the V8 Supercars clarified some regulations regarding track limits, so people started abusing them (running wide at a particular corner). Needless to say on raceday they banned that line

That was the recent round in Perth. The officials were saying that, as long as you rejoined before the curb on the final turn ended, you were fine. Almost every driver took advantage of that loophole aside from, ironically, the fastest driver of the day, Scott McLaughlin.

Pick a race... any race. :sly:

That'd be Barbagallo's final turn. Also Pit Lane at Phillip Island.

Thanks for the info! I'm familiar with the name McLaughlin. Not a particular fan of V8 Supercars, but I keep seeing highlight videos on FB  looks like a good series :)

Anyone generous enough to share their replay of a hotlap for Race C later? :p
I'm way off the pace on that track

It should be 5 laps which would come to about 21 minutes.
Seriously, for this one track they could do that or 24 minute countdown.

Total times are 25 minutes for the Race C "Enduros". Two races an hour could still be done. Only thing I can think, is it must take time to render everyone's liveries.

Gr. 3 lap times are probably gonna be between the low 3:50s and the 4 minute mark. That's why I think 5 laps instead of 4 would have been perfect. Still leaves time for the qualifying session and for the after race stuff before starting the second one for the hour.

I'm on Top 1 at Race C for today! Woohoo! 3:58.278 :D
I'll probably be out of the Top 10 in an hour since La Sarthe isn't really my strong point, but I'll try to improve that time over the course of the day :)

Video coming soon- any remarks about my line is very welcome!
