I'm at work since 7am (EU time) and until 7pm. So no way to check what's the race A one make car for today. Could someone do it for me please? I'll update the calendar accordingly.

First race in the Mustang, didn't qualify, got dive bombed in the chicane before the start and got a penalty for it, but was worth staying up for after a very dirty evening on Brand's and Panorama. Now I really need to sleep!

Nooo I don't see you in my matchup ;A;

Edit: The game hanged on me ( :
Hopefully you catch the next one.

Lucky 7 again.

The 458 is fast, but a Peugeot was catching me almost 2 seconds per sector. From the Dunlop bridge, 8 seconds behind me, I was setting purple sectors and it was nearly behind by the final chicane. Tyres weren't even worn. I could probably pit for fuel only in the 458.

Going to use the C7 now and the RSR after

Edit: MAN! Was on for another run from 20th. A Mustang just doesn't stop and rams me at the second chicane. It took out the car ahead of me at the first chicane.

Got top 10 because of 5-6 red dunce caps serving penalties at the Finish line.

Yeah :)

First race didn't go down so well  got a 15-second penalty for cutting the first corner before the chicane, and then went up by the time I was on the straights. Dropped down to last but with some awesome overtakes (I bet no one has done an overtake into the Porsche Curves in between two cars :p) managed to claw it back to 8th :D I thought I was gonna lose some DR, but I got 300 instead. Fun race :)

Here's my hotlap video. Feedback is appreciated :)

I think the 458 has a 4-cylinder.👎

Oh boy, I was getting chased down. Bye Mustang. Bye GT-R. Bye RC F. Even @CLowndes888 motored away in his 86.

Gave everyone room all race and last lap at The Chase, a turtle Megane Trophy pokes his head out and off I go.

Well, NSX is next. Then 4C, RC F and last will be the Genesis of my RWD only Gr. 4 racing.
Hardly, the Toyota 86 simply doesn't have the top speed. I found myself gaining time in the corners.

I'm going to quit while I'm ahead... and get some sleep.

Edit: Funny, I used the '77 Bathurst livery, surprised with PP, the number issued to the car is #7, I got a 5 second penalty at The Dipper, the car behind was closing at 5 seconds and finished 7 seconds behind.
Funny how we get into separate daily races and then win...

Daily Race C got me like:

But when you're a fan of Porsche (since Mercedes doesn't run at Le Mans for now), and despite the 911 RSR's BoP change for the worse, I'm like this:

:D:tup:

I'm in with you! But I'll probably go with the Lambo.
I just can't stand a grid full of meta cars. I even changed my Entry text to "Zero respect for meta car users" :p

Love group 4 at Yamagiwa!

Managed to grab pole with a time tenth of the top ten, yes I thought I might actually get a mythical win! Unfortunately my first race is never my best, never get quite get right up to race pace straight away.

Dominated by FFs, I was in the trophy. First couple laps lost 4 places, lap 3 I settled into race pace though and picked up third and few hundred dr so could be worse!

Unfortunately family duties now so only 1 race. Although starting feel I may never win again!!

Four Race C's for now. Finishes of 1, 2, 3, 4. The 4 was a 2 until I came out on the wrong end of 3 cars serving penalties at the line. Everyone red at the end I believe. I think most of the penalties were for unintentional shortcuts.
I used the Corvette and did a 1 stop race for fuel only, no tire change. The tires hold well as long you don't abuse them. And adjust your braking zones as the tires wear, which I forgot to do a couple times while racing for the lead. :banghead:

Got a victory before FF dominated the grip. No clean race for 5-6 races that I was demoted to Sr A and lost 1k Dr. Done today. Good luck mate.

Nice win, To be honest I’d rather lose in the Trophy. I don’t find much enjoyment driving the FFs. It can keep pace it’s just when they get in your slip stream no stopping them. I was in the 40s in the race with similar lap times to those.

I forgot how much I love yamagiwa, I finally got my first win since I've had the wheel!
Started 3rd with Ferrari 458 and after 2 laps I was first, the 2nd never left me and it was quite hard but I did it.
Finally back to Sr S after a week of purgatory between b and a, slowly getting back to Dr C.
4th clean race in a row and 13th victory!
Open to comments for improvement.
Here's the video, watching it again I noticed that the pass for the 1st position wasn't really clean but I didn't cause any damage and the opponent congratulated at the end for the clean race! :D

GR Brv !

What's worse: T4 Maggiore, or this...

I'm back into the Top 10 with a brand new 3:56.518 :D (squeaky clean of course; even I wouldn't abuse track limits like that)

I'm pretty sure that's around 4/10ths right there

You make me sick :yuck:! The best I can manage so far is 4:10.9. I am pretty sure I can drop that to a 4:10.0, but I'm pretty sure that's about my limit in the Corvette. I'm able to fit it through the chicanes so I think I will stick to this. Might try the Viper, but lately it hasn't quite been handling like it used to. Think I might have to take it to the shop and have it looked at. Maybe I need to re-align the EPS manifold.......:O

And yet...

Track limits. Yes.

Try the Pug. It's got great acceleration :)

The Viper's an interesting choice... I might try it later on the US region while the aliens are asleep :p

I hate the accelerated fuel and tyre depletion, especially on long tracks like La Sarthe and Nurburgring.
The car never feels good to drive. It's like it goes straight from slipping cold tyres to slipping worn tyres, all the time falling off line.

Got a few podiums and a win so far. But now I've got my Sr. back up to 99 and is matched with aliens again.
Grabbed a second place behind @Aderrrm only 17-18 seconds adrift :dunce:

And yet...

Yeah 10s for that sucks especially given you have to slow down pretty much immediately for it.

5s would be appropriate I think. It is a penalty for corner cutting after all.

.....

Jealous though as I have been looking forward to race C for a few days now, but physically ill. Too ill even for a sunday drive.

Pretty sure almost everyone is capable of fast time eventually. Personally, I find that if you start out slow, and just chisel away, you learn all kinds of things along the way that help when you want to push hard.

What's it like on the twisties? The Corvette I can get to turn at the chicanes. I stand more to loose in penalties cutting chicanes in a fast car that handles poorly than a slower car that can turn sharp enough to slip within the boundaries. Remember I'm at the bottom end of the skill level :p.

I just did some laps in the Viper. At least 2s faster for me than the Corvette, but still handling within my limits. 👍
