Usually, if it’s someone behind I’ll let them pass so not to have my race disrupted and hope they take out the guy in front of me, or at least crash once he’s got no cars in front to use as brakes.

Works 60% of the time, every time.

Race C was frickin' awesome! I'll post a vid when it loads. That was a really good start to the new Daily.
Swapping positions, bumper to bumper, giving each other room. And that was for 10th! Just awesome.

No, I don't think the no tire option is "cheating" at all, I just think it's ridiculous to have an "endurance" race (in quotes for you) that can be run without a tire change.

And actually, yes, I have called for PD to add the ability to swap with a teammate for stints in long endurance races! That would be amazing. And I think it would actually be great for GTS's e-sports angle as well.

So why in your original post did you target players and be frustrated at players, for a strategic call, when that is part of racing?

Does Race A allow tuning, or does "open" just mean not stock horsepower?

Just wondering, am I at a big disadvantage not using TCS and/or CSA in Race C? I feel like I’m losing too much time in the first sector in particular but I’ve never been too sure what aids the majority of guys around me (DR A-A+) are using. I know that many of the top 10 will times are set with the use of TCS and CSA, but that’s all I know.

I’ll also add that I have no problem with people using aids or not, just generally curious.

TCS will slow you down, CSA will not.

Thanks. I completely forgot I could check the replays too. The Gr. 2 cars just feel so cumbersome in that first sector, many of the guys around me seem to cope pretty well but I seem to lose a lot there. So I’m not sure if it’s just Nürburging being a bit of a bogey track for me, my reluctance to use aids or a combination of both.

Fuel map 2 or even 3 through sector 1. Because of the better traction, you won’t lose much time at all(I’m faster this way), you save your tyres and as an additional benefit you will save fuel.

So people are using CSA at nurb in gr2 to go fast? Havent tried to set a time yet just been coming from the back of the grid. Probably just take what i get without aids

I did what I should have in the first place and checked my latest replay. In that particular race it was actually a bit of a mixed bag.

I think I’m just average at this particular track. I love the Gr. 2 cars but I’m still waiting for a Race C with them at Lago Maggiore where I feel really good with the car and track combination (in time trial, at least). It seems we only get to race them at the same few circuits in Sport Mode. I’ll still probably keep at it though, I want to get better at Nürburgring GP.

Yes it's faster (certainly in race) for most people, the very top guys likely won't use it and will still be faster though, as technically it is slower but not by as much as it should be.

Yes fastest guys who have a shot at FIA events know CSA (and TCS) is banned now and won't use it after 1st world tour event.

Is TCS banned? I think I remember at the world tour someone mentioned it was being reworked and some cars definitely will require TCS

It's funny how many people have posted saying they loved the Gr3 race at la Sarthe, yet not all that long ago people were insisting that Gr1 was the *only* class that should be run there .
That was a bit stupid.. to say such thing (ythat it should be only for Gr.1 cars!!!....
1st GR2 races apply very well
2nd there are several GR X cars that may be very well used in this track, also!!! (Besides Gr.3)

Don't diss little fiat, that thing packs a punch (for that time)!

It's the first car I ever drove, and my aunt raced mountain rally with it:D

It's gonna be loads of fun, I wonder how many people gonna be 🤬 and ram around, I mean you need skills to actually miss a turn or slam someone with that thing at that crawl.

TCS was banned for all races except the Gr1 race in the Nations final. They felt it might be needed still in that class but no one used it anyway.
