Tried race A. Thought with TH8-A will have some advantage. But shifting is as fast as without it.

Furthermore no RWD power so my powers seem to be lost with this combo. Had a 1:09,9 time. Am sure could do a little faster but no top 10 for me today. Too bad had time to go for some wins.

Great combo ! Would love to see some video’s of race A. Anybody ? @Cabelmania ?

Not that I condone that sort of behaviour, but I’ll bet it was satisfying to take him out. During a few of last nights races I had drivers like that, even at SR S. At the time I wanted to take them out but opted for the moral high road.

Yeah I very rarely go that far, 3rd time in 3000 races. He was using all the dirty tricks in the book and giving me penalties one after the other. It was part self preservation next to delivering a message. It's part of the track to swap positions on the straight, both go faster. Yet he was using me as a boost trying to serve a penalty and unghosting again right on top of me, and dirty blocking to get the next boost. That was after he rammed me twice in the section leading up to the straight to complete a dirty bump pass. I don't know how he got to A+/S driving like that, there's something seriously wrong with the penalty system....

Why do they have to be on altogether. That and Nordschleife and 24H

I didn't have time to play since Friday. I'm not even sure what's the exact Race A car for today. Going to clean the appartment a bit and I'll do some GR.2 @ Nurb GP after that 👍

?????
What do you have against Le Mans??? It´s one of the best tracks for fast and clean races!!!

And maybe if we had the 1966 Monza F1 Race Version... we could also have clean races at Monza......

latest

Or the 1930-1933 full race version.. too..

Chasing the Dragon once more :)
This track of fate never fails on me (as well as my just as fateful Corvette)!

My last PB was a 1:37.1xx I believe, so I think I still haven't hit my ceiling around that track yet :)

5 laps on Le Mans on Sunday? Sounds like it won't have chicanes then because the track with chicanes is only 4 laps.

In hindsight, that shows how much difference those two chicanes can add to lap time when you remember that they have to follow a schedule of 20 minutes per race.

That bend at the end of the straight will be straight up carnage...Oh God!

Just done finished chasing the Dragon. It was a bumpy ride, but fair I reckon. Tried the Viper. It was behaving itself so I decided to stick with it rather than trying out some of the others. Qualified P5/16 in a grid of DR/C and D. It seems that things have swapped around with matching, and now I get better matching with SR99 than with lower.

The race got under way and as usual there was a bit of shoving at T1 but no outright ramming. Made it through with no penalties :D. Made it through the bus stop the first lap ok. Second lap not so much. Didn't slam into the wall, but I did graze it, which dropped me 3 places :(. I made up those places, and one more, up to P4 :dopey:.

Not far off the end of lap 4 P5 braked later than me and shot up the inside like a torpedo, ran a little wide and I ducked up the inside. He was slightly ahead when I rubbed him exiting. Orange SR for me and 3s penalty. We both stayed on the track and I backed off, giving him position for the next corner. He was sporting a penalty as well, but I think that was from earlier. He was still sporting a penalty when I passed him coming out of the bus stop (he scrapped the wall) and on to P4 victory! NOT :scared:. The slow down from the impact must have removed the penalty. I finished P5. Still in the top 8... I'll take it :D.

The SR hit wasn't as bad as I thought. Down by 2. DR went up so still visiting DR/C :dopey:. Now waiting for the midnight run at NGP.

That's odd - three (playing) days earlier it looks like he had a reset upwards to 50k DR... but I was pretty sure that had stopped happening

so is the "fake reset" to DR 50000 still possible? it sounds like a joke... Can't believe this bug has not been fixed yet..

Alright PD, I want at least 1 Le Mans daily every day from now

How is that Porsche were ghosting thru others, then hit you out - this time unghosted? (That car seems to be the good example of the one who should be banned out of the race after the first km, than not allowed back any online races for a month. Or two.)

I thought it was fixed a few updates ago (early April). It could be coincidence but that one lands exactly on or very close to 50k, at the same time as a big SR drop, and after the player seemed to reach their level so it was an uncharacteristic jump up. The other possibility is that he simply hasn't played much at all recently, and the reset happened before it was fixed.

Two matches in and I'm finally back to A+! Oh yeah baby
The second race is so good. I was matched against Asia's third best- Tommykaira. He was also in the same car :bowdown::bowdown:
I was able to keep myself within a second from him for a lap and half, so that's one win. Then he messed up the bus stop and allowed me to keep within 2 seconds of him when the race finished. Double win for me if you ask me!

Congrats mate! I’m also gonna jump on race B today, finally back to Dr A should mean some nice action. How’s the meta on the Dragon? 911 still good?

Saturday and Sunday its Circuit de la sarthe for me!!

Im highly confident in getting more wins!!

Tried the RC F in my other account. 👍

Only needs 2 laps of fuel. Tyres were good. Plus, it's well balanced. Very fast.
I was pulling away from a Peugeot at each straight. Then, an M6 was getting a tow, but wait, the RC F also has excellent brakes. So stable thru Indianapolis and throughout the end of the course.

Oh yeah, started from last(16th) up to 3rd. Was making time on the lead Viper(don't know if was conserving, will to watch the video). A beast.

I'm glad you approve! I've really grown attached to the Gr.3 RC-F due to it's versatility. It has really good top end speed without losing too much of the handling that some of the other faster cars tend not to have. That's basically what I look for at tracks like Le Sarthe and Monza....what is the fastest car possible that still handles relatively well? For me, it's the RCF or the Mustang, but I like how the Lexus feels a little better.....plus the 2017 Emil Frey version is all black carbon fiber, which is awesome if you ask me.

The meta's quite varied on Dragon. There's a couple of Corvettes and Supras. Other than that it's a complete jumble (there's even a Nissan )
No 911 though :( the Supra is the best alternative for that car

I really enjoy the Lancer on Dragon Trail, even though I'm about .5s faster with the 911. Sometimes I choose the Lancer over the 911 for more stability in Sport races. It has more top-end but is still pretty nimble on the corners. Lately I also really enjoy the WRX, surprisingly. It has great exit speed, so those uphill corner exits on Dragon and Maggiore are great.

Second race for the evening, NSX on NGP. Qualified till I felt happy then waited for the start. Listing comes up and I see a mass of DR/B, slightly less Cs and four Ds. Ok I'm screwed . Qualified P12.

The start was the most bizarre thing ever. Cars come to a grinding halt during auto drive, the race starts, and several of us have no drive. My car was rolling backwards :odd:!!!!! Finally managed to get to go forwards and had to pick my way through cars that were still stalled or going really slowly. The race proper was happening at last and I was short shifting my way around the track hoping to get to lap 6. I managed that and was in P10 I think..might have been P9.

Pitting was a disaster! Took an age for the car to turn up in front of the tyre changers. I had nearly a laps worth still in the tank. I tried to stop the fuel at 4 laps but the X just wasn't doing anything and I wasted time brimming the tank :dunce:. Came out P10.

I decided to bang the gears off the red line since I had the extra fuel, and to be honest, I wasn't lapping any faster than when I was short shifting. The 5s gap I had over P11 was steady till the last lap when he seemed to be gaining and passed me and off into the distance he went. My guess is fuel map change. I should have done that, I had the fuel :dunce::dunce:. P11 for me.

SR back to 99. DR not sure, I didn't make a note of what it was after Dragon Trail. Either up a bit or down a bit. Either way higher than yesterday :dopey:.

Another day visiting DR/C :D.
