I got pole today and was pretty excited that I could drift off into the difference without all of the carnage of the first corner. My excitement was short lived as the guy next to me repeatedly rammed me until i ended up in the gravel. My safety rating is C and I'm wondering at what level that stops happening..
From B upwards is much better than C

Yesterday's racing was reasonably happy-hunting for me... started in pole on Nurb GP in the Gr. 4 Citroen, had a wobble mid way through lap 1 and went into the sand dropping to P5 but recovered to get past 2, 3 and 4 who were bumping each other all race - finished 2nd and got fastest lap.
Then switched to Maggiore, started 11th and went fir a pit at end of lap 6. Lap 5 was good as basically had the track to myself, but very slippy! Came out of the pits in 10th, but due to fresher tyres gained positions up to 6th over the final 4 laps. However, on the short straight after the big banked turned with the sand, a guy clearly on very worn tyres would not give me his position and side-swiped me as I was overtaking him, totalling both of us. Fortunately, I was still pointing forwards after hitting the wall and managed to hold 8th.
Back to Nurb, got pole again and made sure I stayed there for the win!

+2300 DR for the night :D

Crikey, I had little time to qualify last night and was displeased dropping 300!
Yeah... last Saturday's daily B on Interlagos killed me. I was starting mid pack and it was a horror show, lost enough SR that my DR 'reset' to 7000.

What are today's races? :nervous:

Not good.

Race A:- One make, Audi TTS (N300), Interlagos, 3 laps.
Race B:- One make, Lancer Gr B road car (N500), Big Willow, 5 laps.
Race C:- Gr 1, Brands Hatch GP, 12 laps, x6 Fuel, x12 tyres.

Hmmmm.

Gr1 + Brands Hatch... No, thanks.

I know, it'll be carnage, cars off all over the place. A lot won't even be because they've been shoved off either. Then you'll probably get a penalty for passing them under yellows.

I hope there are at least decent FIA races today.
If not, I'm going to play Shadow of colossus :sly:

Gr.1 is ridiculous...

1st through 15th were 919s except me (R18) and my teammate (TS040). The 919 understeers everywhere but is competitive because of its power advantage.

The R18 and the TS040 have much better acceleration at the start and 919 drivers just act as if we’re not there. Seems like the radar is getting less popular with time.

Then, they struggle in front of you and brake at random points on the track so it’s virtually impossible to avoid contact. I can’t read their mind or anticipate every mistake...

The R18 is so good under braking and at corner entry that it’s a recipe for disaster. They should keep Gr.1 to one make events until they adjust the BoP. It’s suicidal to use a different car than the “Flavor of the Day” as your car behaves too differently and no one seem to know how to deal with anything other than a 919.

Wasn’t much better when I used the Alpine... Got bumped from 5th to 9th but got back to 4th thanks to my clean driving.

Big Willow scares me though... there's an awful lot of desert. Does the ABS off trick still work in the Evo?

This is the one from the mileage exchange, don't think it works on this one does it.

The trick is to stay on the track. ;)

As for the ABS, I'm too afraid to turn it off...

@zzz_pt

So you were able to put that perfect lap in after all. Great lap !

I couldnt improve mine any further but still pretty happy about it.

I have a question. I'm a wheel and pedal user. I was looking at you amazing laps. I noticed that when you brake the brake bar just next to the tachimeter becomes all red. What happens to me is a bar divided in two parts while braking, the lower part is white while the upper part is red. Note that it happens with brake pedal is full down. Is there a specific reason for this difference in braking bar?
