@Jimmyghione funnily enough I noticed this last night too. I wonder if it is something to do with wheel lock/ABS? So, if you brake progressively to not lock it will be full red (max braking) whereas if you mash the pedal and ABS is working hard it is half and half?

Livid.... Lead from the front at Brands for 10 laps. Second was ever so slightly closing, may have been an interesting last lap. Come up against a backmarker who refuses to move over and at the top of the hill touches the grass, goes sideways and smashes me off the track. Luckily I ended up no worse than second but why the **** don't people move over?

haha never thought I'd be close to overtaking you in a race... almost did last night :gtpflag:

I don't even remember most of that race, too much happened. I know I completely messed up and rammed a guy off on the first corner, tried to let him back past by driving on the very edge of the track and still got hit by someone and ended up last, after that is when too much happened as I tried to get back as many places as possible whilst trying not to run into anyone else. I don't even know if I saved the replay afterwards either, will have a look later on.

Some do actually move over, it surprised me when two guys battling cleared the way for me to lap them in one race yesterday, so in your case you got unlucky with that guy or more than likely I got lucky.

Another race though the guy in last intentionally hit the leader multiple times, eventually knocking him into the wall and stopping him winning, it was in revenge for something apparently and it was against one of the guys from the videos on here who previously tyre glitched though so I thought that was funny.

Had this on Maggiore last night on lap 10, I was right behind 5th for the whole of the last lap waiting for an opportunity whch I knew would come as I pitted at end of 6 as opposed to 5 and could see he was struggling with grip, went to go past after the banked turn with sand and as I did he swerved and side-swiped me putting us both on the grass! Fortunately I was still pointed forward so still finished 8th but he spun out and came in 10th. Why? Why? Why?

I have a question. I'm a wheel and pedal user. I was looking at you amazing laps. I noticed that when you brake the brake bar just next to the tachimeter becomes all red. What happens to me is a bar divided in two parts while braking, the lower part is white while the upper part is red. Note that it happens with brake pedal is full down. Is there a specific reason for this difference in braking bar?
It is a problem with the rendering. The information about grip while breaking is not available here, and the bar gets filled up only red.

There are some serious idiots in the lower driver classes, every time my safety/sportsmanship rating drops to lower S I see them if I get knocked off/make a mistake and have to come through the field, the amount of dive bombing and side-swiping is unreal, some take the "you won't pass me" mentality to a ridiculous level, often taking themselves out in the process, you'd think they'd learn after doing that a few times but they don't.

Normally at high level S you don't see this, unless you race Ovals, Tokyo or Monza. There are still dirty drivers but not ones who bang into you repeatedly on straights or think they can keep a driver two seconds or more faster per lap behind them.

Well I bit the bullet and broke my 'No Interlagos no not even if you want to no Shaun you know it always sucks no' rule.. Hated driving the TT, but I guess other people in my class hated it more because I got the pole and only one guy gave me (pretty clean) competition and I won it, so yays. Not sure I will do that again though. The Willow race seems to bring out the worst in people!

so why here: the bar is half and half... I'm not fully convinced.. It's a replay posted at page 59.

guys, just a pop question, does the bumpercar races happen too in project cars 2, or just here?
Dropped down from b to d, and just can't get up again. Very frustrating to be honest. Thinking about getting pj2 and never do the daily races / fia races again, just feel so dishonnestly treated atm. :grumpy:

we've all been there mate, just keep at it. even if you have to take a DR hit to stay out of peoples way id recommend it, it will be more worthwhile for you in the long run.

thanks guys, but ? are those my stats? where to find that?
got 40 minutes left, trying the let everyone go by and go for fastest lap TT style tactic, see how that rolls

you need to put your kudospirime in your signature so I can track your progress... we need to race one day haha
Nah you are too good ffs

If I get to high B then we'll talk... I'm at the highest I have ever been now though so fingers crossed I keep moving up :)

well my DR is heading south right now so maybe we'll meet in the middle lol

I like Big Willow and Brand's hatch, however GR.1, guess I'll be posting about all the bad driving again tonight! I guess I'll pick the 919 as well since not having the same car as the majority isn't safe in GR.1. Of course I still fully expect the odd Mazda to ram me or dive bomb.

Top tip for the Evo at Big Willow, in the unfortunate scenario that you end up in the desert sand, switch the torque distribution to 50/50 for a faster recovery onto the track !

I am liking Gr1 in Brandshatch

Actually pretty clean and competitive on the top 3 top 5

The big problem is the guys on the back as we start to overlap them around lap 6 and they just can’t behave properly!!
I had a drop of Sr because of them

Does it help running 50:50 for qualifying and the race in general? Or what ratio would be suggested?

Had drove one race on GR.3 Lago Maggiore. Was a good race, but first place cheated tires. Strong field...

The Mitsubishi Lancer/Big Willow race is fun. I love that track and that version of the Lancer seems perfect for it.

Also, I loved the Toyota 86/Tokyo Expressway race from yesterday. Another solid car/track/tire sim mix.
