Yes I know but the problem from my programming experience looks to be that they haven't coded it for the two different
car types, i.e it can only be one make default car or one make garage they haven't made code to include both in the one
race type and given it's PD I suspect it might be beyond the current game to do both.

Time will tell if this is allowed with a future update. Hopefully it is!
Aren't the Nations/Manufacturer's Cups like this? The One Make Mini race allowed tuning and liveries.

Just wait until you take it down the esses at Mt. Panorama. :p
If it's like the NSX, :nervous:

Ha ha very funny . Only against the AI and only if it was a series that specified it :yuck:.

Race C in the Atenza, and I just couldn't get it to work for me. Fine in quali, but couldn't get it to turn in .. the T1/T2 chicane was a nightmare, had to keep dropping to 1st to get round the second corner. Qualified P7 in a grid of 20 D/Ss.

Race starts. Then someone shouted "Contact!" and the driver behind me swore. We hooked in there for 8 laps, then a god almighty roar! There's me, in me helmet, steering wheel and racing suit. Brock help me, I was only P12.......

I was struggling the whole way and whilst I did have some clean racing, I also got mugged every time i backed off to avoid a collision, and then get orange SRs for getting rear ended. Apparently is is no longer the person behind you's responsibility not to hit you.

SR down to 96, DR down a few hundred. Another day above DR 1 .
Trust, the Atenza is good. Has to be driven smoothly and it'll turn in off throttle.
I'll post my video.

How does one beat no-stoppers without no-stopping? :D
Cayman can do it. Like I posted before, I'm just not game to try. It's got the speed, handling and economy. Screw it, I'll try after this next race. Using the M4 right now.

Wonder why some people are getting this more than others. I've not had a disconnect since 1.13 update. It may catch me as I'm racing more lately though.
I used to read all the posts on here over the last 12 months about disconnects, and wondered why I wasn't having any problem - now I've had nothing but problems since the recent update. Getting pushed back to the race selection screen every day, usually after 2 or 3 races.

Exiting the game and re-entering sorts it out for another couple of races.

Really good morning race. May have finished first, due to 1st and 2nd having a race incident. Fuel economy is bad. 1.9laps at it stop.

Yeah, about trying to no stop with the Cayman. I just blew by one(think it had a Falken livery) doing just that. We shall see...

Oh I'm going to enjoy taking my GT-R round Tokyo. Another great week for me.

Tried the M4 around Maggiore this Saturday...

05:00 room, qualified 5th, finished 7th. Had a major tussle between me and a Pop Team Epic Scirocco on the earlier stages of the race, even down to punting me off! But then, I decided to do an undercut with fresh tyres since the M4 wasn't saving as much fuel as I wanted to. In the end though I finished ahead of said Scirocco. End result: Blue SR S. Winner does a no stop strategy in the Mégane Trophy.

No stop in the Cayman. First lap, got rear ended at the hairpin, by an NSX that hit the car in front of it and in turn, that car bumped me. Sent me to 19th.

I've done about 6 races on Blue Moon Bay tonight, and so far my net SR loss has been 2, and I've got 2 wins and have yet to finish outside the top 5. I'm DR/SR A/S. Having clean, fun races here is possible, and it seems most people have gotten the message that PD considers bump-drafting to be the 8th Deadly Sin...

For some reason I'm finding it harder and harder to do no stops in the 86 :irked:
Yesterday all I had to do was shortshift my way to the finish, now I have to actively play with the fuel map as well. What gives?

They haven't gotten the message yet in SR.B as every time I get to mid SR.B the draft bumping starts and I get knocked back to SR.C. The races are great fun anyway. I start mid pack and always finish top 3 with the occasional win. My DR is a 28 points shy of DR.A since getting reset on Monday. My SR, goes up to 50, down to 37 again, never ending cycle.

You would think if you bump them back once so they see the SR Down, they will reconsider. Nope, as soon as you pass, bump, bump, bump, ugh. Can't stay behind either as more will catch up who will start bumping lol. Next race in SR.C again, seems to be the best place for clean races... I had an awesome battle in a pack of 5 to the finish. Finished second, close, clean, never got that in SR.S...

Spoke too soon. Next race was a mess again, SR 31, battle royale, finished 3rd as pretty much the only one without a penalty to scrub. Got bumped from behind and into the walls unfortunately, started 8th fell back to 13th first. DR 30208. I guess the +1500 bonus only comes when I reach SR.A. That's unlikely on this track :banghead:

Time for a break, too much bumping. I had another win, DR 30551 however SR down again, 26 left. It's a curse to be in first. Winning is still fun though. Spidey tonight, no SR Downs!

I went full 86. Honestly it’s pretty much my fave car in the game. I qualified 8 in a close room of b/s. I figured I would play my pit strategy by ear. Lost two places early and ended up getting them back and catching a pack of cars 3-7.
Folks pitted and I stayed out. (I seriously have zero idea about pit strategy). No concept to work with just making it up as I go. So eventually I had to pit for fuel since I wasn’t saving. Got tires and fuel.
Good pit stayed up in fifth coming out no prob but almost lost the car before tires got up to temp.
Essentially I create more gap and am driving in a zone. All is great except....
Except I ain’t gonna make it on fuel. Didn’t put in enough. Idiot.
Played fuel map short shift etc.
Did ok until running out but luckily it was midway through the big right before the left leading into last turn.
Got passed and ended ninth. Still gained dr by 100.
After that I started toying around with the 650s. IMO that thing is sick.
Next race I am gonna try it. It’s been fun forcing myself to get faster on Maggiore. I’m slow compared to many but honestly makes me so happy to get into the sixes on good laps. So happy.
This is fun stuff learning to push the car. I’m a kid in a candy store.
Thanks PD.

C7 is pretty good. Has grunt and economy was about the same as Mustang. Ran a lap longer, short filled and was able to hold off cars behind. The trade off with fresh tyres and conserving, I'll choose tyres.

Got smacked up twice in two corners. Ensuing apology from offending racer. My goals are top 10. Anyway, I like the C7.

I had a great time at Lago Maggiore with the Huracan. The Honda and the Alfa Romeo can’t really touch it when it comes to straight line speed.
Here is a short Race Edit of the action.

Check the boot of your car. I put some ballast in there to slow you down after we were in the a race together yesterday :D

I've now joined the no-stop train. Used the Cayman; it does OK, but short-shifting (and a bit of fuel management) "feels" slow because of the gearing and I only just got to the line with fuel and tyres. The 86 was far easier in the one race I tried with it.

Initially tried the 650S, 4C, and the Mustang. The 4C was good on tyre life, but too slow short-shifting, and the 650S and Mustang were good race cars but not so good on fuel or tyres. I've completed 6 races in total this week and all were won but no-stoppers (either Megane Trophy or 86).

Did you see me in the M4? I was in one of your races! (PSN is razaqa11 in case you are wondering)

:lol::lol::lol:
The Trophy is too slow when shortshifting for my liking, so I tend to avoid it. Maybe I'll give the 4C a try :)

To add to the conversation earlier, I would also love an oval track update with a stock car to play with. The cars we have now are fun and all but they could implement a polyphony stock car like they did the F1500TA Indy car.

Tried Blue Bay with the Evo. Not bad, I had a couple of exciting and close races with the folks in the front of the pack.
Also feels good to try another Gr. car for once after doing the FIA races with the Viper.

Hehe yer in *my* world now! Mwahahaha! I recognise some of those names from my races. :sly:
Yeah, don't know how they race or what to expect. The SLS has excellent economy. I also didn't know what to expect from it.
Pitted with 53 while everyone else were at under 30. Was leading for a couple laps. The TT caught up and ghosted through me at the first bowl hairpin. So you know it wasnt trying to race fair.
It dive bombed at the final turn for the lead. I returned a bit of a dive bomb to let it know, "chill out". We were 7 seconds ahead.

Next, the Scirocco caught up and passed me, but got a penalty at the final esses.

Seeing the races for next week im really tempted to get the new F1 game. No matter how much I love Bathurst I cant stand gr4 and especially hate the front wheel drive cars in that category

I spent all week trying to break into the 2.06s by trying all the popular cars for this C event - never managed it. Today was Saturday so a bit more time to race, and I went back to my old favourite Mustang (which I race only because I'm proud of the livery, I pretty much suck at driving fast in it). I used this at the start of the week and could only string together a 2.10. Wouldn't you know, I nailed the 2.06 with it today! My race pace was faster too, but I got pinballed off the track at the banked hairpin and finished 10th (from a potential 4th).

Odd that I seem to do my best with the cars nobody else is using (genesis/mustang)

Do you still have Maggiore? O.o

Haha yeah i seen you win with that yesterday. Every other 458 i’ve seen has failed miserably though.

I’ll admit I got lucky but I slowed down after I saw there was chaos behind and I had a huge lead. It’s great on tires but you need to love oversteer. It’s not a noob car for sure! I love it
