His long did you wait before quitting? The pit stop is quite long on ovals, considering you enter full speed, I suppose.

Well over a minute wait, they where just stood holding the wheels. Was in the pits long enough for the other drivers to start coming past to lap me.

I actually really enjoyed the Reverse Maggiore race yesterday. After a few training laps, the course just felt right. So many great turns, I never thought of liking reverse tracks at all. Maggiore proved me wrong :)

Todays races though....:yuck:

Maggiore GP Reverse, the long one, is my favorite track in GTS. The flow of the whole lap is sensational, especially the downhill part which is the second sector. Like a cross between a rollercoaster ride and a ski track :)

We had the last test season end with the manufacturer series at Maggiore. Today it starts with Maggiore. There is also a daily race at Maggiore.

Two days ago there was a nation's race at dragon trail. Yesterday there was a daily race at dragon trail. Today there is a daily race at dragon trail

How about changing up the 🤬 tracks PD? There are not many tracks in this game, yet somehow we do the same 3.

Willow Springs horse thief and the streets of Willow Springs still have never been used in sport mode, but sure let's do the same tracks for the third day in a row and have no variation between the FiA races and the Daily races.

🤬🤬🤬.

Maggiore has been either the first or last race of the Manufacturers for the last 3 or 4 seasons I guess.

The problem is we don't have enough good tracks to mix the dailies and FIA races so we see them a lot.

Still better to see Maggiore or Dragon Trail than ovals.

I really don’t understand PDs‘ decisions to not finally introduce these tracks to the dailies track lineup. So cool tracks...

I did the Blue Moon event. Could have finished better, but i stuffed up the fuel and clicked stop with about 4 laps too few. The second pit killed me. I did discover that you don't get a time penalty if you graze the wall coasting. I was trying to not hit the wall and not haemorrhage too much speed. Time penalties i think should be more severe for hitting the walls to bring it in line with Tokyo.

This games main attraction is online racing, yet they have tracks they don't put online... It doesn't make sense. Why waste resources on a track you will not use online? The online FiA races were the main selling point!

Same goes for the rally tracks, a waste of resources tbh.

We don't have a large track roster, but they make it feel even smaller the way they organize events.

I really hope we start to see a larger volume of (not oval) tracks soon.

Cough cough, specifically

Autodromo Internacional Do Algarve
Silverstone
Circuit of the Americas
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca
Road America
Sonoma Raceway
Watkins Glen
Fuji
Virginia International Raceway
Sebring
Charlotte Motor Speedway (brand new road course)
Road Atlanta
:p:p:p:lol:

Agree, rally is rather pointless.

As per their resources use I am wondering why they couldn’t have added real and proper tracks (SPA, Mugello) before adding ovals and similar.

As per the sport mode it seriously needs to be revamped.
Today they engaged a markting student to sell gr4 as one make at magione...
Further, at the moment I can only play every month or so once they have some decent sport road car and track combination. :banghead:

I attempted to make some highlight of the nations cup top 24 superstar race yesterday.

I had a lot of fun. Driving standard was really high. Managed to Quali P11 and Finish P7.

New to the forums.

Thought I was decent at racing? Then look at qualifying times that are 10 seconds better and it disgusts me. I enjoy the daily races as I'm new to the game but, having trouble with finding decent racers to help raise SR.

Don't worry about the leaderboards, those are what we "aliens", they know how to use the tracks and are a small portion of the actual playerbase. With enough practice you can get within ~2-4 seconds of the 10th place times on most tracks which will usually guarantee pole position on sport race events.

Gee... am I detecting a slight whiff of IMSA there?

Despite what others may think, I'm partial to the rally courses. I'd like to see them show up in the dailys.

I did the scirocco one make. Not sure if I should be happy or depressed. Qualified 3rd, happy. Finished 8th, depressed. Maintained my SRS, happy. Traded paint far too many times and don't feel maintaining an S rating for sportsmanship is justified, depressed. Got my first "Fastest Lap". Happy.

I get within 4 seconds of the top 10 times and NEVER get poles.

Yesterdays GR.1 event was tough. Always starting in the middle, not really finding my flow for a long time while I got bumped every time someone passed me. 2 bumps is enough to go down in SR and at some point I was down to A. However then matchmaking starting putting me in the top 3 and SR climbed up again, until it got close to max and I was back in the middle. At least racing got better towards the end, plus I changed to less optimal lines to discourage dive bombing, and ended with max SR eventually.

How's draft bumping today on Bluemoon? Does it work again, or still SR down for every push?

Depends on the race and DR and time. I usually can do ~2s within the top time (for N and Gr. 4 at least...) and in the A race very late at night the chances are high you have pole. In the C race (let‘s say Gr. 4) on the other hand at a more prime time you will probably start in the bottom half with such a time...
Also depends on the DR, with lower DR you probably have higher chances for a pole with a reasonable time compared to your fellow DR racers.

Regarding the mix of daily races: we really need more daily races, I don‘t think it is good that now with having also Gr.1 three races is enough. I want to have at least a slower and a faster N car one make and always Gr. 4 and Gr. 3 and Gr. 1, so minimum 5 races. That would also give more options for tracks.

And I want a global leaderboard with at least top 1000 and filter possibility for cars, so you can easily see what is possible with this and this car.

With that gap to Top 10 you’ll only guarantee Pole in races against C/C and below. In A/A a time like that will put you between P6 and P10 most of the time.

I'm C/S (alt account is B/S) and I often end up 2nd since I usually can't break 5-6 second gap but if i get closer to 4s I start first (but always mess it up in the race to not get the win...). But it also depends on time of day too, and weekends are MUCH harder to compete against than during the week.

This is a vid of the 2nd half of fridays daily @ brands in the GR1. Came out the pits and the guy that’s was behind “strange_Notes” had saved full and was able to make a shorter stop. I was chasing him down for the entire second half and was conceded to having to just try and maintain my place. This is another case of last lap madness.
