What a joke the Le Mans race. Got -20 SR for I really don't know why. Tried to recover next race, after few seconds: disconnection, -2000 DR and further -5 SR aditionally.

My fault that I entered weeklys in the first place, I guess.

Thought with all this practice on Race B I would give the races a go - three races later - 40 SR point drop and 19,230 DR drop 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Well that was a bad move :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
Decided the only way to feel better about my drop is to forget about it and get back on the old horse !!!
Anyway, ran a number of race Bs this evening, racing all the way, but making every attempt to stay clean. I've just done my last race and I have managed to get back 39 of my 40 SR points lost and am back up to 98 and I have even managed to get a couple of thousand DR points back. On the whole, some pretty good racing On Dragon Trail.
At least I end the week on a good note.

Just have to see what the new races will bring tomorrow !!!

I won for the last time in this glorious “daily” event known as Race A in the RX-7 FD.
Just wanted a proper sendoff to this fun car, and this track combination.
There was a load of carnage at the start, and I just pulled away from everyone as a result.
Felt like all except for the last two laps were bad though.
I popped in a livestream of one of the racers in the event who got a good second place result.
This and the Fiat Nuova 500 gave me so many dubs! :sly:👍

Here is a turn by turn tutorial of my best lap from the previous running of Race A with a time of 1:39.564.

RBR is one of my favourites, but not feeling it. May be the Time of Day. I like sunrise and sunset. This week's setting, makes the track feel like a merry go round.

RBR could be fun, its between that and Race C for me.... Race C will be a nightmare for passing, as ive seen some uber wide cars in the past

Hi all, as this is my first post on this forum I'd like to say hello to everybody. Having had a 15 year break in racing games (and games in general) I started on GT Sport this spring and now completed my first full week in sport mode. Although I don't like the idea of driving tracks in reverse I kind of liked this one and i had some intense races. Learning curve is quite steep and every race delivers some new things to consider but all in all it is great fun. Hope to meet some of you guys at the Nürburgring this week.

Tim

Racing the Nurb24H is not really I am looking forward to, will probably skip.
RBR will be a fun race, though I'd prefer it was a Race C.

So, once again...
What are the weekly races this time?

gtsportraces.com just takes too long to update....

New week, new races. Decided to give Race B a go with the trophy. It's no longer the darling of the Gr4 scene, but it handles well so i't a fairly safe option to get a feel for what the races are going to be like. I guess there was plentiful supply of DR/Ds, so even with a less than stellar qualifying time I found myself starting P2/14

I was hanging in there through T1, although a Hurricane was right up my bum because he had a better start when auto drive let go. I was P2 hanging on to P1 up to T2 when I was rammed from behind into the wall opposite the apex. I managed to get going again, but I had dropped many places. I managed a few passes, then I had one guy who passed me decide to suddenly ghost, then unghost with me having no where to go. Orange SR and a penalty for me. In the end I finished P7.

SR white, DR up about 80.. Now I'm up to 204. Not exactly where I wanna be going into the N24 later tonight, but I guess it's an improvement from my last race :odd:.

The first in America's ranking for racing B (RBR) is going waaaay outside the track in the first and last corners... when, by mistake, I went a lot less outside, Ive took lots of penalties, I cant understand that.

Good day all,

I did race B and I suggest to make your best qualifying lap before starting. I tried 4 races from the back to get a feel but my Lord that was a few painful ones... I did a qualifying and got my 2nd. place which was clean! :)
In one of the races from the back I went from SR 99 to 72. In all fairness I don't understand the Penalty System at all. Before bed tonight I am gonna pray to the highest and ask for next update to be focused on it. IMHO I feel it is disrespectful to give us penalties for being hit purposely by others! There must be a way to improve this, some logic.
Check out the short videos, and I am very open for critique please let me know. I tried to stay clean.. .
I even go 3 seconds for the one (video1) when the huricane went off track came back in with full speed hit me and went off again.... blood pressure.... ooooops

It’s look like you somehow insult this guy

Yes I know but I got around him without touching and he just didn't like that.
I also didn't feel like taking his racing line so I stayed outside him but he didn't like that either? I know I was may be too close but I thought he would get into the normal racing line which would give me space. I decided to "dirt-ride" to stay away, but still...?? Don't know?

Anyone done race C yet? I did a qualifying time on softs, but I doubt they would last a lap. Anyone know if mediums will last a lap?

they will last a lap, but mediums are recommended, as you will have advantage at the end end of the lap to the guys in soft

Depending on which car you use, and your driving style, the soft compound will hold up nicely for one lap.
The hard compound is for no stopping exclusively.
