Not impressed. Well, I guess I can try out the other GR.2 cars. Suzuka again.

Probably cuz its the start of my 2nd week in the game and I haven't gotten comfortable yet in GR cars or learned any track braking points with any, that list looks good to me.

Fuji is a relatively easy track because Im very familiar with it over the years and GR4 I think is low enough pace it will be good to start with for me.

No Interlagos experience in GT for me so this will be good for me to learn the track with a bit faster car than Fuji. Suzuka I know very well but its very technical, it takes a long time for me at least to plot and get familiar with braking points, so fast and technical on a tight track this will the most challenging for me I'm sure.

Interlagos with GR3 is probably my strongest combination and favorite race - really nice selection IMO, I enjoy the GR2 on Suzuka as well, so it'll be a fun week.

Yeah normally that'd be a very good selection but given that we've had those combos as weeklies already (quite recently as well) most people will be disappointed.

After the close of BMB Speedway Daily Race I'm satisfied with my stats, had to grind them back up now 11points higher than my previous best.

It doesn't show I went as low as SR 36 but I did, I worked it up some before the day registered and unfortunately I had lost my S rank before a day registered :( all good now tho, with a SR 93 only 6 SR from target.

I can understand that and yeah it can get race repatative my fingers crossed some more stuff this month cuz I love it

Will be interesting how much runoff can be used without getting a penalty at Fuji this week.

Also, PD need to produce another decent fantasy track to quickly bolster the list(and not one that requires scanning real locations, like Tokyo). Very sick of Suzuka and Interlagos.

What your talking about happens very often. Usually once you get your first disconnect if you don’t restart your system it will keep happening again. Restart and you should be good to go. (I think it works about 80% of the time, all the time). Good luck and welcome to GTPlanet.
Are you guys restarting the system, or just the game app?

Good racing with ya this week in Race A

The auto update still works, i even run the update scripts manually several times today and watch the logs, but there are still no races for this week. PD is either changing their web system or they planned to introduce the new races very late. They still have time though, as the Monday is just starting in Japan, 8 hours before the deadline.
So i now have the answer: PD seems to now block the next week events until the last minute.

Me app game not the system
Just checking. Same here. On days when I'm dc'd 2 or 3 consecutive times after restarting, I just say forget it cause I know as soon as I get in, and start the race BAM! disconnect lol.

Hmmm this is probably the least satisfied I've been with the weekly races. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the combinations but we've seen all of these very recently. I'm wondering why PD went to the effort of making Alsace and St. Croix as I can't remember seeing them as a weekly race. When Big Willow was used at the World Finals I thought we might get to see that, but no. Hell even Brands Hatch hasn't been used for a while.

I lack pace at Interlagos so will concentrate on that again, probably with the Atenza. Wednesdays Manufacturer's race looks promising too so will practice for that.

I'm hoping PD just have a holiday hangover so just chucked in the first races they could find the settings for and we'll get some variety next week.

I like all three of those races. Suzuka at least should help me build my SR back up to a reasonable level after a week of being punted, bashed and dive-bombed at Tokyo.

Whats a good GR4 car to start practicing with?

Boring as it sounds, the Renault Megane (not the cup car) is good around Fuji.

Also the Hurican and Audi TT seem quick pretty much everywhere.

Let’s hope they have a better bop this week.... the races usually become one-make within hours... Although I managed to beat a lot of Nissans at la Sarthe last week with the Tomahawk :)
Well.. must admit I did my quali lap in the Nissan
Raced 4 times, first with the Audi R18, that was a complete failure... once in the Nissan to see if it really made such a difference.. and twice with the Tomahawk :)
Way too slow on the straights but quick in the corners (last sector) and tire wear was not really an issue.

I have to agree with you, it’s a great line up for me also. I know there’s a bit of disappointment in the ranks but all 3 have plenty of potential to increase DR for me personally. I’m going to pick one and see if I can master it. C looks very tempting. :)

Though yesterday started well, and I got back to SR-A, two races at Tokyo last night took care of that. Down to 27 points, SR-C. Punted early, then stuck mid-pack with bashers. Hopefully, starting the week with 3 tracks I've seen, I can get my SR back up

Ive done a few laps on each track so far and this is what I’ve got. A will probably be my strongest race this week followed by C, the Nissan on hard tires is very tricky, I really suck at Interlagos with Gr3 though lol, it’s gonna be a tough week there. Not sure what race to try first, I’m not used to having Monday’s off. :)

”TCS 2” for Race C?

There, I fixed that for you. :D

Track selection lately has been an absolute joke. Same tracks over and over and over.

Why bother making St. Croix -and its variations- to then only use one of them once?! Watch next week be Tsukuba, Tokyo, Monza.

There needs to be an actual Daily Race A&B and then WEEKLY Race A&B. At least then if you're fed up of the weekly tracks the daily might save you.

2 races for me tonight. Started off with Race B. First crack resulted in the re-set bug, so after a re-start of the game I had another crack. Qualified P5/9 with the rexy. All SR/S but mixed DR from A-D.

The race was a bit of a disaster for me. Everyone was fairly close, so one little mistake costs.. and it did. I got to P4 for half a lap, then got passed and back to P5. I got bumped at the chicane which caused me to go off track and gain an orange SR and dropped to P6. Got a bit sideways on a corner and haemorrhaged speed, then zip zip, two cars go past and I'm down to 2nd ...last . That's where I finished. I was surprised that things were pretty clean aside for that one shunt.

SR unchanged, DR dropped 300. Better than a kick in the head I guess :p.

2nd race, Race C. I put in some qualifying and started on the grid P8/14 on a mixed grid of both DR and SR. Despite that things were surprisingly clean. No one rammed me and when they passed they were clean. Everyone did a pretty good job avoiding other cars when there were people exiting and entering the track.

The race started awkwardly exiting the chicane. I stuck to the cars in front and was doing quite well. At one stage I was in P4 which came as a surprise... I don't remember going up from P8 :scared:. I was passed by a guy doing a @Sven Jurgens . He started P13. Same guy who won the race I was in at la Sarthe last night.

I'd been short shifting because every other Gr2 race it was the only way to make it a one stop and not a two stop . I needn't have, I had lots of fuel left. My problem was tyres. at the end of lap 6 they were unhappy. Lap 7 I was loosing time on every corner and fighting to keep control. i pitted at the end of lap 7 in P5 and exited P8. I was really close to P7 for most of the rest of the race, but they didn't loose control and spin out, or burst into a fireball :irked:. P8 was where I finished. The guy who started P13 finished P5 !

SR 99, DR went up nearly 200. Day 4 visiting DR/C :dopey:.

I like those selections. At least we have GR across the board. I've not had the time to really get back into sport mode recently. Just dabbled with qually when I've had the chance. The tracks have been the same over the past few weeks so I get why some are not happy. I'm glad to see a line up without Tokyo!

Is Maggiore on holiday? It's been a while. I wonder if they are basing these selections on player entry figures? Maybe more people race on certain circuits and not others. That's pure speculation on my part.

Hopefully I can get on this week and see how slow I've got with my time away :nervous: lol

Anyway, happy hunting folks.
