I just watched this. It was a slight bump and most importantly you kept position, that's clean enough by my standards. I'd be less inclined to give him racing room after it though.

I used my trusty old WRX, it feels like a boat compared to other cars but it's still really easy to use.

Yeah, the WRX is a good car around DTG, as my ultra eventful race in my BTCC liveried car against a MadoMagi Huracàn, which started on pole, and the good ol' Yuichi-san in the Öhlins Lancer Evo tells you. The race started with me getting the move done on the hairpin as I got a good run out of the chicane, plus the slipstream allowed me to reel in for the move. Then Yuichi-san followed me to the gap and the classic WRX VS Evo battle commences until on Lap 3 where I defended the inside of the final double apex corner, where Yuichi-san was forced so wide that he ends up into the grass on the exit, then I proceeded to cut off the MadoMagi Huracán that took advantage of Yuichi-san's mistake into T1, but didn't made contact to make it a real cut off. But that Huracán is just desperate for a pole-to-win moment as he pushed hard until the final lap on the final corner as his desperation took over as he went into the grass and then I won, but he still has the fastest lap. Yuichi-san finished in 3rd.

Then finishing it off with driving the Manufacturer Series M4 for probably one last time, I start on pole, ahead of the One Bar Fungus in the TT. The pressure was on as I try to get away from him, but despite the punt sometime later, I won anyway. Another Aussie in a TT got the fastest lap and finished 3rd.

Bring on Bathurst!
 
Guys, be cautious at the top of Mt. Panorama next week. Here's a replay of what can happen, there. The white car loses a ton or SR points because the black car didn't ghost. At 1:03 you'll see the red car recognize that he's not ghosted and swerve, masterfully. The guy in the black car called the guy in the white car a 🤬 in the post race chat. Both drivers were ok 👍.
 
Been very busy at work and school. Just went on for the first time since the update and seen Brazilian flags are back. Backtracked this thread and seen the bad news. Well it was fun having clean races while it lasted. I wont be wasting my time in sport mode anymore

Second time in a row now, with restarting the game. First time was during the loading screen so at least that one didn't cost DR. This one, very costly as I got put in a low class room. My connection quality is good, same as always.

One more attempt, then on to something more reliable.

Interesting, I practically never see this...until this morning. I decided not to risk it. I’m C and really close to falling back to D after a horrible night last night.

That kind of driving calls for a DR reset me thinks.

Same happened to me, but complete opposite.
While racing to south americans (mostly brazilians of course) , was easy thing to keep SR S and very hard to end in top 5, then US is back and all I see is lack of speed with unpredictable moves, shaking side to side like crazy, dropping everyones SR easily.
The good news is: more US players, more wins for Brazil ;)

Not a single Brazilian in race C top 10, and we've got them 3:2 in race B qualy. No need to get petty indeed when people are simply grossly mistaken.
 
Racing on DT Gardens tonight was fun and messy. I survived the night unscathed, got a few fastest laps and reached the podium in 2nd from 12th in one race. Final DR tally for starting from the back on DT Gardens, just shy of 12K. I could not reclaim the disconnect losses, too many punts received. I haven't seen a race tonight where less than half the room had red ratings, usually two thirds, sometimes 90% red ratings. SR.S hmm.

Annoyingly the quali times got reset after the server merge. Only had time to do Race C for the remainder of this week. Good race with back and forth clean battling all the way from 2nd to 6th all the way. Ended up 4th in the end. Anyway, with the server merge and larger player pool hopefully matchmaking will be better again. I'm not a fan but I may have to sandbag my DR again...

At least this week looks to have good combos. Two N class races again and Bathurst for Race C which I traditionally always do well at.
 
I got all my dr back from the disconnect today and then some.
Man, good week of races for me with a and c!
Let’s see what I can do for next week!
 
I really prefer the races be on proper circuits. The TE is like street/expressway racing. That usually involves two or three cars.

Awesome to have night time at Bathurst! Gets me ready for the B12H next week.

Edit: that was too much damn hard work! I kept pitting, to stay out of traffic. Sparks were definitely flying everywhere.

This week was very nice for me. My DR was early/mid-c, now early B. My SR now S (whole week).

Now I am thinking which race should I use to bury my good DR and SR.

GreenHell, or MountPanaroma (which I am terrible at it, I nearly 2:11 :( ), or Tokyo

I think I can pass this week. My DS4 and I got scared of them :)))

I will miss you TT Cup 16, I will miss you DragonTrails. It was a nice week :)))

I'm with you there! I hadn't dared to do Sport since getting the game and getting some practice, but got encouraged by the Fiat 500 race, which I managed to do and increase SR!! I will really miss that "race".
If I try ANY of this week's races I just know I'm going to accidentally hit someone or crash.... so I'm staying away for now!! :)

That is shocking driving!Totally uncalled for.
Not sure i understand the`defend this guy`comment though,that sort of gameplay is what stopped me playing online with the ps3.
 
Good for you! Sport mode definitely lovely. Yes, especially with DS it is harder but still so enjoyable.

As a newbie, I am understanding the dynamics of the game recently. If you want to succeed, you need to know your car well, you need to know track well. I am still trying to be more familarize myself in Gr3 and Bathurst really not my favorite track.

Also, are superdrivers trying to race in all races? No! Then why should I? :D

I think whole week I am going to make GreenHell practice ;)

Well, really disappointed that the race B is with the Porsche again, was expecting to be with the TVR honestly, as it is N400 but... it seems that we'll get the same combos over and over, don't remember when was the last time we had Yamagiwa/Yamagiwa+Miyabi or Brands Hatch as proper dailies (GR2/3/4)
