...After another 50 laps in the Huracan I managed a 2:06.6. I will certainly try the Peugeot this afternoon.
I think another frustration has been that I have committed to tcs off, and 2 feet instead of just one. Its a learning curve that I hope pay off in the end.
That's about my time in the Hurican. Its worthwhile leaving the TC, but you can also turn it on and off during the race, if you are nervous about a particular part of the track. I don't think that looses your skill because in time you'll likely find its easier to forget about it and just leave it off. If I am back in the field at the start and the race may start at a chicane or corner, I'll turn it on to ensure I cannot spin going through a chicane when the starts etc., then turn if off on the following main straight.
About the Hurican and GTSport in general: its not fast to slide a racing car. It kills the tyres, it slows you down. Looking slow is typically the fastest way to race a real car. But in GTS, it seems they want us to slide some of the cars. I hate that, but its only a game. I reckon the way to drive the Hurican is to drive it very smoothly and look to slide it. I hate that, its not fun for me, but I guess for a whole lot of people out there, they might even think that is the proper way to drive. Racing on a track should not be a drifters' event. I understand too that GTSports rally part of the game sucks - that doesn't surprise me.
Let use know how your improving and enjoy it all, I have.
