I won't drive the Huracan in any race and if I see a Huracan around me, I know I'm getting punted...

Or maybe that's because more drivers are in Huracans and hence with more Huracans around you, the chance that someone who hit you who drove a Huracan, is higher than that of someone driving, let's say a Vantage, because way way less people are driving a Vantage...

Thank you for the encouragement. I won't know what I'm really capable of until I can get off of the D pad and button inputs. I bought a new wheel and pedal setup at Christmastime, because it was half-price. I used it for about 10 minutes, and left it to collect dust. I found that it's useless until I can mount it to something solid. I guess I'll get one of those Playseats. Maybe I'll go to Gamestop, one of these days and see if they have them.
I've got some important advice.

I absolutely hated the change in the D-pad and X/Square on the PS4 due to the pressure-sensitive buttons being removed. I almost quit altogether as I hate use analogs and triggers. I was fast on PS3.

I ended up switching to motion-tilt steering and kept the X/Square for throttle/brake. NOW, yes I understand that the digital throttle/brake is pretty bad, however, I am able to win races and consistently perform with this controller setup with skill alone, and I'm sure the steering wheel guys would hate to know they've been beaten by a digital throttle/brake. But the steering is silky smooth on the motion sensor.

So basically, before you spend $$$ on the wheels setup, if you want to spend time getting better as a driver. You absolutely can win races and set fastest laps and learn a lot about racing on controller setups. The wheel is not the be-all-end-all, it just makes things better.

Nice run man. I like how you kept the pressure on Snake, and once he made his mistake, you capitalized! Well done.

Right on kept right on him till the pressure got to him and had to keep my eyes on buddy coming close near the end.

Great fun, everybody was positive after the race too. Its fun when clean close combat goes on if only everybody was out for this experience.

Yep, that is how it is in our league...close, clean and competitive racing every week.

@Groundfish the guy you posted about on January 9th, I just took care of him in race B. Dirty dude. I wasn't looking for trouble, but apparently he was, and he found it. We had a go in the post race chat. Got your back, bro. You guys are my teammates.

Edit: I'm using my secret profile, so it doesn't matter.

I forgot about that clown. He pissed me off.
Karmas a you know what I guess.
That’s why I don’t start crap, it’s a small world.
Look at his stats says it all.
Race b just handed me a beatdown. 2 green and yellow flangers try to side by side bus stop playing chicken, I lagged back like I would against ai, oh lovely the Huracan has its nose facing the exit wall on the rumble strip and it’s NOT ghosted. Uh oh.
I did him a favor he ricocheted 200 yards downtrack.
Picked a spot up finishing 12. Sr to 98. I’m sticking to race c for the rest of this week...

I'm back on the seaside. 2 neutral ratings so far. Passing 10+ people, 1 in 3 or 4 has to bump. 3 bumps is neutral SR. Otherwise it's pretty clean. Hopefully it stays that way. DR gains are slow while starting last.

Never mind, 3rd race, idiot won't concede going into the bus stop. He's behind on my left, I have the racing line and I'm ahead, so he rams me into the wall in the middle of the bus stop not even lifting to leave any bit of room and I get 2 sec penalty.... Then an especially dirty driver bumps me into the wall first, then punts me in the last corner. He dropped to SR.B in one race hitting others as well, crossed the line with 7 sec of penalties. Unfortunately I got dragged along to 93 SR thanks to the penalty for racing. Thus the decent begins again!

Down to 86, another messy race, off to the low SR.S room. DR up to 18.2K though, still finishing strong, just can't avoid all of the chaos. I did avoid the trouble maker from last race, he took out 2 cars and himself in the bus stop this time.

Optimal down to .006, if only I could cash it in. I’ve still got 2 days though. :)

That's me at P3. :scared:
It was a massacre. Ha ha

1:47.317 I'll be looking out for that qualifying time :mischievous:

Oops I'm back in SR.S.

I just sneezed someone off the track :O Right at the bloody braking point I couldn't hold it in anymore. He did brake too early and somehow managed to crash into the inside wall. I didn't get a penalty, instead clean race bonus. On review, he lagged into my path at the last moment, a full car width to the left. I guess the lag discrepancy negated any penalties. 92 SR again.

Enough Dragon trouble for today, I'm going to watch The Orville. Good luck in SR.C, it's a different kind of fun.

Hmmm, I got booted from a c then got in! Alright c race! Let’s do this!
T1 got wide, and had to let 3 cars through and rejoin, didn’t hit anyone...Rejoining can be tough...
So I’m resettling myself and there’s a guy peeking at Degner, he runs me wide but I handle it ok...
Ok...settle down now...plenty of time...It’s lap 1 and you’re down like five or six spots...Began in tenth or something...?
Lap 2 hairpin...3 cars tangled and ghosted...sweet I am doing fine...On exit somehow one spun me out...
Huh. Facing backwards being stopped is fun...The whole field is by...
Mama didn’t raise no quitter!
Caught the field by lap 7...Picked back I think 2 more spots...Guys in the back were driving well, couldn’t make a real move...
Ok time to make amends...booted...
Waiting...
Waiting...
Will I make amends?
We will see...

Damn it! I forgot about that. I'll have to do a better lap.

I guess people just aren't into trying different cars. I've done a bunch of B races today, and haven't seen a single other Mustang. It can pull on the Lambo on the straights, and handles just as well. Oh well. Good for me. 👍

I make it a point to race a different car every day of the weeklies :p

It’s means I have the pieces to the puzzle though, no more searching, just gotta put’em together now, another 500 laps otta do it. :)

For the love of Bob! Stop qualifying and start *RACING*!!!!!!! :banghead:  :odd:

I guess everyone is gone to bed now... lol

On for some late night a races. First one was a three star win, i tried to snap a pic but was to slow.... Tbh i was alone and pulling away the whole race. I wonder what was going on back there lol

Second race i started in 2 behind someone i recognize and dont expect to be able to keep up with. Suprisingly i managed to keep him to a sec or less and almost was able to pass him a couple times. We put about 2.5 seconds on 3 by the end.

Nice win @Dairyworker!

I didn’t get booted!
Race c...
Black vette drivin in the dead of night...Saw a member here in every race taking podiums...Nice job...
Anyhow begin ninth...End of lap 1 7th...End of lap 2...Ninth after running wide at 130 r and somehow saving just missing the wall on the right deep into the braking zone...No one was hurt!
Lap three...Perfect exit on chicane...The Lexus who overtook me in race one by running me wide on Degner (no big...just good racing and I ended on short end) is overtaking a 911 and I am inches to his bumper and get nose to nose into t1...I was like I have every right to this piece of track it’s ok...
Boom took tight line side by side and overtook him and walked away...No contact, great try by him to get me to backout...Nice...KARMA STRUCK.
By lap five I’m on sixths tail, we pit...I’m nine now he’s 8 coming out...zed vs Chevy, let’s do this...
Lap seven he’s six I’m seven. The zed driver is a cool cat...
He’s got almost 3 seconds on me, but neither of us face traffic...
Lap eight he runs wide at 130r...I close...
Slipstreammm.....He lets me by so I have the spot, but he’s on me...He’s right there at hairpin as we pass a ghosted Audi who spun...I’m sitting five and four is maybe a half second out...
Lap nine I get a perfect exit from the chicane! I’m good, but the audi fights through the zed he’s dropped back...
Clean driving by the zed guy he snatches the spot in a perfect move to take back the spot...
Oh yeah four ran a strong lap so finished five. After all the crap these last races that race made it all worth it...so fun...

Had a lovely lights to flag win last night on Race B. Although I did my utmost to throw it away on the last lap despite being 4 seconds up after S1 on the final lap and being consistently a couple of tenths quicker all race per sector than 2nd place. I cocked up badly in the bus stop which was just nerves which resulted in a 0.6s win with him closing me on the line. He nudged me coming into the final turn too, which cost me my clean race bonus but probably also cost him the win!!

Still thats win #5 which I admit is poor for over 50 races, but I have noticed that I am starting to put it all together now speed wise, I am into the 1.47's on Dragon Tail in the Veyron which is the perfect group 4 for me, as its allowed me to turn TCS and ASM off without fear of spinning all the time, plus its a beast in a straight line, feels like a shipping container in the esses mind .

Had a nice chat with the second place guy after the race who was amazed I had managed to win in it, but hey, I just pickced it because Its what Nick Mcmillen uses in his reference lap. The Huracan appears to be the META car, on B this week but its too squirrely for me and I wanted to be different.

We'd fired no guns, shed no tears. Now I'm a broken man on a a Halifax pier, the last of Barret's privateers...Tonight's Race chasing the Dragon was a bit crap. I went in with the 626, but aside from "optimum" couldn't put down rubber for a complete lap to beat my Viper time. I started P6/15 on an all DR/D grid as the only non Japanese.

So the race starts and before I get to the bend before the first chicane a Megane streaks past me, holds me up at the chicane, pulls away and gets to the next corner... then is scattered to the four winds as he slams into the wall at the next corner . The rest of the race was me getting rammed or pushed aside by Can Hurrys. The lambo drivers definitely seem to have an attitude that I have seen in every race for the past couple of months. Even if there are only a couple of the wretched things, they always seem to find me and crash their way past me like I wasn't there :banghead:. After 4 laps of GTA rather than GTS :odd:. I finished P7.

SR down 4, DR up a couple of hundred. Another day above DR 1 :indiff:.

I have the morning off again, race time! Starting in SR.S on DR: Seaside. Still in my Huracan, I don't care it's the meta now, I was driving it before it was cool :p No time to experiment with different cars when having to weave through the chaos. @Invisigoth It's not the car, it's the meta drivers! Except GT-Rs, only 🤬 drive those

9:10 AM race. Punted off lap 1, T4. Finished 5th with clean race bonus, punter left with a red A. SR up to 98. DR 18,633.

9:30 AM race. A clean race!!!! All blue ratings, only 1 red dot. I'm gonna cry. I finished 5th with my fastest lap yet, a 1:46.7. Of course there be aliens up front making fun of my slow lap times. As for 'meta drivers', I was the only Huracan in the race. The Turismo Viper won.

Did a bunch of races last night. All were quite nice really. Had a group of 4 or 5 guys i know are clean racing the front of the crowd each race. Got a podium in each race except for one i think. Two races so far this morning and both were great. It's a world of difference from a few days ago, just as tight but much cleaner. The second race was win 49 for me. Great race, run side by side through the first half of the last lap. Proof to me i am getting better at holding my ground and being "aggressive" not just accepting a 2 when i think i can get the win

Another great race. Came second but was very close and had him a few times on the last turn but on the last lap he wisely covered my line. I guess he was paying attention the three laps before lol

got home from work and hit Dragons Trail... 2 races, 30 bumps, punts, side swipes, spins.... ended up last in the first race and made my way back up to 3rd on the second race.

Left daily's and raced with friends most the night and had a great time.

about 10:30 I went back to Race B and got a 3 star win on the first race, moved from 5th to 3rd on the second race and completely screwed up the last race of the night by my own mistake.

All in all a great night though.

Oh well, it was just an anomaly. Dirty drivers and the inexperienced are back.

9:50 AM race. 14th place can't stand getting passed and bumps me off in the esses. He gets a penalty for that. 11th place can't stand getting passed either and dive bombs me in T4, he bounces of my inside into the inside wall and I get a 5 sec penalty.... Then a D/S driver brakes in the bus stop and calls me dirty for running into his brake check.... I expect people to lift there, as did I, but not to slam on the brakes. It's not an actual stop!
-6 SR to 93, DR 18,922 (Finished 7th, penalty didn't matter, too easy to burn at the finish, burned it in about 1.7 sec)

LOL I forgot to mention that, happened to me as well. Dude slams on brakes in the bus stop, of course I go straight into him ( I always lift there, but nobody needs to brake) and he ends up in the wall... I of course get no penalty and after the race he is acting the fool in the chat. I had to PSN message him and ask why he would come to a dead stop in the middle of a race track for which he had no answer.

10:10 AM race B. Full pandemonium in lap 1 on the way to the sharp right before the bus stop. I somehow manage to weave through the smoke and stalled cars unscathed, into 7th place already. More chaos follows in lap 2 in the bus stop, I get through again yet have to tap the wall slightly to avoid the fallout which costs me the clean race bonus. The rest of the race I have an Argentinian on my back and I'm fearing for a dive bomb. He's one of the clean ones! We have a good race, I manage to hold it together and finish 4th in front of him. Plenty red ratings and one drop to SR.B. +5 SR for me to 98, DR 19,654.

10:30 AM race B. Half the gird is in Huracan's, some Veyrons and a mix in the back. The front is getting faster, while the back is getting blockier. I only get to 8th this time, with clean race bonus. Back to 99 SR, DR 19,474. 8th is not good enough with DR resets running up front.
