They added Gr. 1 to the Daily Races today starting with Interlagos. Good luck.

Race C is Gr. 4 at Dragon Trail but tire wear is at x14 and fuel is x5 instead of the usual x4. I think this means even if you go for a low fuel map you will still have to pit for tires anyway, so set the fuel to be as fast as you need so you run out when you need to get new tires. I'm gonna go FM1 as usual and see how that works. Not today though as it's the 24H of Daytona, starting at 2:30pm EST

I managed my fuel throughout the race... was the only person not to pit. 3 laps to go I was 16 seconds ahead, won by 5 seconds in the end! Huracan being 4wd means that traction wasn't wildly bad even with shot tyres.

did someone of you face any issues last night around 1a.m CET time? I played the Daily race B (Yamagiwa) many times but I got disconnected twice at that time, always right before the Race start ( I saw all participants got disconnected the same as me). This also caused a Loss in DR and SR... Is it fair in your opinion? I mean, disconnecting is quite different than getting disconnected..

It is, the game blue screen crashes too a lot of the time when it does this. One time I watched 5 players drop out of a race before the warm up even began and usually there is at least one gone before or after the warm up, likely due to this. Sometimes it happens after the race too.

Also, when your connection drops all the other cars stop on the track and only you continue for a bit until the connection lost message comes up and it kicks you, so you can see the difference.

I think it was not a lack of connection my side because it happened three times, always in the same moment, just before the beginning of the race, after the quali period. In the lobby view I saw also all the other guys disconnected in the same moment. It worked fine for two hours before.. I mean, If I get disconnected suddenly during the race I can believe my connection has issue, but three times exactly in the same moment just bfore the race starts sounds too strange to me.

Fair enough, I've only ever had 2 blue screens... both in warmup.

Yes it's not that common but recently there has been more of it, likely because of all the issues lately.

There is another connection lost message too that I've had once, it just pops up in a black box in the middle of the screen whilst you are racing and you can still see the other cars moving about fine, like you are still connected but with that message in the way you have no option but to accept the message and then you are returned to the main menu, still connected to the server of course, just to highlight the strange issue.

exactly the same error message, a black box with no way out, you are bounced back the main menu and everything seems fine there (in terms of server connection)

Yesterday's Nordschleife.

I loved the race yesterday - started from 10 and won. It was my third attempt however and it wasn't as clean as I wanted it to be. The biggest problem I had was people braking way too hard and early, and one guy brakechecking me. The Nordschleife is a beast that requires practice and there should be a minimum qualifying time requirement, otherwise it is no fun. Once I was in a pack of 3 at the top it was incredible. Best race I have had so far with fast and fair people.

Race A:- One make Peugeot 208 at BB Raceway, 8 laps.
Race B:- Gr3 at Yamagiwa+Miyabi, 3 laps.
Race C:- Gr4 at Big Willow, 12 laps, fuel x5, tyres x15.

I know this is more of a whining thread reply but... geez would it be so bad for them to diversify out of gr3/4 races and have some serious road cars for once? Would have been great a n500/600 on the 24h yesterday

Good shout. Surely the masses of cars in the high N categories will be used at some point?

Ford GT one make race would be awesome. Did some timetrials with it and it's a blast to drive.

I expect them to host higher N-races after we've gone through all the lower-N cars(?).

One make? Never actually! They're just boring...
Gr.3? Ok, at least one race for today. even though it's only 3 laps again...

I really hope they add some more variants in the future. Maybe...
Race A: N300-N1000 race. At least one where we can use OUR cars! No more one makes please! Daily.
Race B: Gr.4 with settings, tire wear and fuel. 5-10 laps. Daily.
Race C: Gr.3 with settings, tire wear, fuel and FULL damage. 10-20 laps. stays one week.
Race D: Gr.1/X with settings, no tire wear or fuel. ~10 laps. Daily or weekly.
Race E: Endurance! Either Gr.1/3/4 with all settings on. 30mins to 50mins race. Stays for one week.

Thats what I would love to see :O

I don't think so. We are recycling at least some previously used cars now, with the exception of the new cars (Skylines, Supra etc.)...

Didn't know that. I've been doing dailys for 26 days now (according to kudosprime)..

Couldn't hurt to gradually raise the N-category though.. Then back to the beginning of the cycle. Rammers ram whether it's N100 or N1000.

I'm on 91 days :lol: and pretty sure we've had the 208 before... definitely had the TTS twice

Nice. 3 clean races is good going! What track did you use to get them?

I'm hoping to get back into SR A tonight... Yama+Miya should be good.
