1:57:811 or something. B/S driver. 3 full second off pace to top 10 in asia.

Ah, not too far ahead of me then. Same rating as you, which makes sense as I was starting 5th and 6th after I got the 1.58.1. Same here in EU... top time was 1.54.0xx

I started 2nd and finished 2nd. If I read this post last night, I would give RC-F a go. Maybe a low 1:58:D Next time:lol:

 or maybe a low 1.53 ;)

It was very rewarding actually to be able to power out of corners properly... and it felt nice to be in a grid that says

Looking forward to Race B.. I don't think I've driven Fittipaldi on Sportmode yet..

Drove a few Atenza races last night and got a couple of victories.. The car is not fun though.. Seriously time to make Race A with faster cars.

The Fittipaldi is quick but handles really well... good fun for sure.

 Thank you @bmxmitch... I loved the RC-F!

Started with the 911 and after 7 or 8 laps managed to set a qualifying time of 1.59.8xx which I think was about my limit. I switched to the Lexus and my first lap was a 1.58.8xx! So I did a few more laps and got it down to 1.53.3xx and entered a race... started 10th and finished 6th. Entered another race and did some more qualifying laps, then managed a 1.53.1xx and two subsequent 1.53.3s. Next race started 6th and came 4th, third race started 6th and came 5th :)

The difference between the Leuxs and the Porsche is how quick it is off the mark and it's tight turning. Where the Porsche is slow to accelerate with its massive 1st gear and turns wide unless basically crawling, the Lexus can turn in sharply and shoots off as soon you get on the power. I made two passes by being able to take a tight inside line on a corner and then getting on the throttle faster and harder than the Porsches which felt awesome.

I have to also say that the racing was awesome last night (DR/B SR/A - but including DR/A and SR/S)... I was amongst a pack of 4 or 5 cars mostly, nose to tail within a .3-.5 seconds of each other all braking at the correct time and allowing each other space to take corners and not barging or pushing.

Glad you enjoyed it! :)
I couldn't really compete with it yesterday. Got matched with 5-6 SS drivers in two races. But I nearly had their pace, at least :O
Think I managed to do a 1:57:00, so it unfortunately matched me with the Aliens :scared::lol:

1.57.00 is quick... I reckon if I had skipped the races and done another 20 laps of Q I could have probably got a high 1.57 but not 1.57.00.

Where were you qualifying and finishing?

I got my places behind the SS drivers. Race one I was 7th and race 2 I started with the SLS on place 9, I guess.
I did finish 6th with the Lexus and 12th with the SLS (the Mercedes couldn't compete against the Porsches)

But I gained some DR points at least :)

Edit: Gr4 Dragon Trail!? YES :D
I just hope its not M4's only again!

Use the Huracan on Dragon Trail - the 4wd is good for running the tyres right down. Also, if you are clever with fuel mapping it can last the whole race.

Edit: Just remembered my girlfriend is out tonight too! Perfect for a good session on a good 10 lapper

I’ve only just (after months of driving this car) worked out that it’s possible to take the bus stop chicane at Dragon Trail flat out with the Viper Gr.4 while setting some qualifying laps. Scary as hell, but at the same time makes the section easier providing I get the angle just right. Great fun.

The problem comes when deciding whether to be confident enough to use the tactic in a race

Then you start doing it in the race and get it wrong and bang. This is a Viper driver speaking from experience. :O

I ll try Dragon Trail today, first Q's maybe until daily workout, then race, I guess...

I just average DS4 driver, but if you interested, stream is now live:

You are definitely better in the 458.

Good luck for the race 👍

Pole as well... no pressure!

Race time!

Now I'm very nervous...
Keep cool and race as per your qualifying laps.. you got a couple very close so you know your lines :)

Unlucky... but this is a good race now with you top 3.

You've got the guy in the M4, for sure!

Well done

Uh oh... two wide into the chicane

going for a late pit... good tactic.

Literally everyone else has pitted!

20 second lead into the pit...

Comes out 1.3seconds ahead and with fresher tyres than the pack 👍 got to be a win.

6 second lap with 2 laps to go

Crash behind! Lead extended to 13 seconds with just over 1 lap to play

Up to 15 seconds by T2.... fresher tyres making the difference

Over the line with a 15 second lead :gtpflag:

5th win - congratulations

Who thinks the 911 needs a nerf?

I know that in theory every track has a car that suit it a bit better but everyone drives this car in every track, its not cool to see the 911 dominating like this.
