yes but my side (A driver) until the matchmaking always insert one or two S driver into the lot of A drivers, get a win or something like is quite impossible.....

Yeah I know what you mean... I had this all weekend, starting in the back 4 or 5 positions every race

Start looking from min #29, take a look at right side and spamming black car at grass...
And what happens at finish line

Well i was 3rd. Number 15 was ahead, Number 2 went straight through him as he got ghosted. I tried the same and boom contact. I rammed into him. He didn't ghost for me. 4th passed me bcoz of this. I was like wtf

Congrats!! :D
Here's to the top of S  (and hopefully me too, I'm nearing my limit though )
Well done

I've recently graduated to A (well a couple of weeks ago, but still very low), which also is a pretty exclusive club looking at the numbers above.. it's a huge drop from 55000 in B, to just 6000 in and 1000 in S!
It does take a while, but you're still climbing :D

Nice. Keep going and you will eventually reach S :)

and if i start watching from the beginning of the race at 23:35 i can see that you didnt like getting passed on the 1st corner and you tried getting back by cutting the next corner

thanks!!! 20 ???hum???? will get anyone.. dizzy... I guess! :)
Yeah dizzy for sure! And the problem is, on such a short track but still quite technical (and with tyre wear!), it is easy to switch off for a moment and hit the sand or catch the grass on the last corner.

No, I don't think so. I was winning races in B and getting poles and fastest laps... in A, I'm lucky if I start top half

you got when i got to A/S i was barely starting top 10 , but with consistency and good racecraft i got to DR S

I dunno... I definitely feel not as good as everyone else. Reckon I have peaked. I will continue to climb maybe a few hundred here or there and get comfortable in mid A, but not another 20000 DR

From Suzuka on Sunday, basically I got shunted off the track at the chicane on the final lap but the guy justified his actions because "I started it", at no point did I take his position aggressively. Just a bad sport IMO

You hit him at the first corner, and pushed him wide.

You knocked him off the track at Dunlop.

Your comment here was that "he ran wide." Really?

You pushed him wide at 130R.

Also, there was no yellow flag here.

Yellow flags are only active when the warning is on screen. You must have got the penalty for hitting/going through him.

Yeah it looks to be a direct retaliation for pushing him wide on 130R.

@Robben, are you talking about my status now. It seems 40000 is my limit. Haha:lol:

I feel ya, I’m hit a point now where I’m not going to get any better. 4000 seems to a bit of a mile stone. Seems to go up when the nordschleife pops up it’s head in the daily’s, then goes straight back down again

Not sure what video you're watching but there is no contact there between the two cars on the first turn (apart from when he goes wide and taps me coming back in but thats not an issue)

Again, watch the video and look at how wide he is BEFORE any contact is made. A screenshot at the end of the turn doesn't exactly show the full story.

You pushed him wide at 130R.

No screenshot this time? Thats because I gave him plenty of room and made a clean pass.

This one is fair enough, after watching that again I see you're right but he shouldn't have just entered the track again with 4 cars coming thus I should never have received a penalty.

I'm not responding to your comments with any malice BTW, I know how these discussions can come across over a screen.

Yeah it looks to be a direct retaliation for pushing him wide on 130R.

But I don't, I've got the inside into the turn and even back off to not use the full track. He has a cars width and kerb so could've had inside line in Casio triangle and beat me fair and square.

130r pass was fair IMO... fully alongside... other driver not aware he was there, or just chose to hang on.

But it's not really a great place to overtake.

To be fair, I'm not au fait with the specifics of racing "law" when it comes to 'leaving the door open', 'having the inside line' or whatever...so I will leave others to judge or rule. Personally, it's 50/50... he was losing ground to you and probably should have conceded the position, but then in his eyes you divebombed the inside and pushed him off the track. No excuse for the retaliation at all though. What level is this?

Or, maybe trying not to hit that car...
Look again with that thoughts.
My too late braking and doing everything possible to do not any harm to opponent.

Nothing on Indy can't be without close fight.

And I'm pleased that I made it to not ruin his race/win.

Maybe from his view it might look like that, but he must realise he's lost that position by giving me the inside.

One suggestion...dont rely on cones or even meter markers since they can get hit and you loose that visual marker. Find a spot on the track for your braking points i.e. different color pavement, red/white curb, etc...

So I told everyone to brake at 150m at Turn 1... AND IT WORKED

I still can't stop laughing from joy!

Not gonna ignore the fact that someone spun out, but it's not because someone missed the marker, the person ahead of him was too slow. So technically it still worked?
(I moved this from the wrong thread)

Just because you climb a few hundred here and there doesn't mean you'll plateu ;) It'll take much more time but you'll get there

How did you get on last night?

Nightmare tbh! This whole S/S glitch thing is putting me in difficult races, I’ve come to realise I’m definitely not an S/S driver :(

Did however have a go of VR last night, sisters boyfriend borrowed me it... have to say I was thoroughly impressed and take back what I said... it is definitely an experience.

If you could race online on that, even if it was 1v1... I don’t think I’d step out the house lol

You are A now though, aren't you? And mate, you were starting way ahead of me in the BB and Interlagos races we were matched in and battling with the front lot.

Sounds good... I was watching a video someone on here posted the other day and it does look absolutely ridiculous! Did you get any motion sickness or anything?

Got to keep finishing top half to gain points though, which is going to get much more difficult.
