I’m down to 7K DR. Perhaps the biggest drop of my Sport Mode career. I keep getting matched up in grids with C-E class drivers (as a B). Not only is my DR struggling since the update. I keep getting abused by other drivers. It’s been like this since this week’s update. It’s not all that fair considering I was earning good DR after the previous update and had some clean streaks. What the hell is going on?

I kinda get the impression that matching is based more on SR than DR. As a DR/D I quite often get matched against you guys (A/B) because of my SR/S. It's no picnic at our end either.

My SR was just at a B yesterday too...

I’m suspecting that it’s kind of back to where it was where your SR takes a big hit from people crashing into you.

I changed my pre-race lobby greeting to "If you quit a race, you get a SR boost." I'm surprised at how many people fell for it lastnight.

7/10ths off the pace on a track that I relatively don't know- I'm taking it!

I did a 1:13.629 at Big Willow and the top 10 Rankings are 3 seconds faster. Ridiculous.

Edit: Man! M6 messed up my strategy. Punted me off after I pitted early. Gave way more than enough room. Finished 4th when i could have finished maybe 2nd or 1st(maybe).

the toyota ft1 is fast there if youre not already using it, it can almost take the last corner flat out with just a small lift at the right time .. i think i set a low 1:11. everyone in the top 10 in europe used it

True. I'm sticking with the brand though. Seems like a good mix of all the cars I'm racing against.

Just set a qualifying time at 1:12:313. But not confident enough to finish the race without going to the sand so no race.

Big Willow was amazing tonight. Awesome races, nearly all clean, plus I had some great results and climbed up to 48K DR, a new high for me.

Interlagos isn't one of my strong suits, so I took the Top 10 before anyone fast tries their hand on this race

And it eats tires faster than the other cars, at least that is how i felt it, on my stints last laps it felt like bambi on ice.. No surprise that so many uses Countersteer and Stability assists..

In my races beetles took the win by a margin. But ft1 was definitely at advantage there.

Got my Dr up to 37k a few days ago but these daily track/car selections are killing medropped 1k a day the last 3. Need Bathurst more regularly half my online race wins are on that track!

Bathurst and Brands C races gave my ratings a huge boost, particularly Bathurst where I kept finishing 2nd or 3rd, beating A and S rated drivers . I hadn't had particularly fast qualifying times, just kept the car on track during the races....

Having said that, DR took a big bashing at Willow Springs yesterday - got punted off in all 3 races I entered, and when you go off there you go off a long way! Also had my third experience since doing the dailies of being rammed off track so hard that I got disqualified - can't quite get my head around the logic of that.

Well done on achieving your A, hope you manage to hold on to it.

I haven't got experience on the track - do people use the shortcut in race as well ? Also, I can imagine it can get quite fierce on that narrow track, is it a crash fest usually ?

Check out the top ten times. Top 4 or so are track cut hacks by C-A level players shaving off about 8 seconds and all of the last section of track. Then come the serious S-S fast guys. Using Counter Steer Assist and Traction Control glitches to drive a big heavy oversteer muscle in ways it was never meant to be driven.

CSA and TCS are not glitches.

Hate the game for where and how its wrong. Hate CSA for giving extra stability for more aggressive lines, not as a glitch. Hate TCS for giving people crutches, not as a glitch.

And I think the Mach1 is made to be driven, since it's a car

Edit: Just to clarify, I side with you on the Willow Springs cutting glitch. An update has already passed and yet the glitch still exists. Seriously PD?

GT has a nerve to claim to be the real driving simulator, what with its ridiculous fantasy cars (A convertible Gr3, i mean really???) and it's bizarre preference towards daft fantasy tracks instead of real world.

By the way, what CSA and TC glitches?
