So it would be what it actually is. Right now I'm starting every race with #1 even though there's DR:S guys. But like I said, probably not going to bother doing that. I guess it will come down eventually.

Ah yes, you glitched up to 70000... personally, I would just carry on racing as you were... if you are good enough, you will maintain it, if you aren't then you will lose races and your points :)

Gotta say I'm very positively surprised atm - kind of happy even :).
I'm back from Interlagos doing 5 consecutive races there ( looks like I'm always doing 5 in a row ).
Grand slams for the first three with full AS grids, then came upon some top 10 racers for the next 2 runs.
Came in on 6 and 2, great to see that I can keep up somehow.
Best thing was, I've never had 5 in a row that were that clean ... very relaxed, patient, precise racers there ... actually a wonderful race night .

@Alexony
You did not need to slow down before the line - I feel guilty now .
Stepped on my brakes as soon as I noticed. You "won" though. Will try to give you payback next time :D.

PS
Can't sleep now - still full of adrenaline :dunce: !
Looks like you made the right choice RJ - I chose the BB Raceway event, got pole and a win for the first one, and then ended up being matched with most of the drivers with a top 10 time in the next 4! All clean races though.

I was torn between all 3 races last night... typical after Saturday and Sunday was a tough choice of which race was least bad, last night had 3 good looking events.

Like you, I chose A and regretted it. The problem is that I only have time to commit to practising and competing in one event each night. I had a 34.244 and a similar issue to you in being placed with the top guys... Sweet Gegz notably who got EU record for the day.

Just completed 3 daily race C Gr4 at Monza. Every race was won by a short-shifting non-pitstop M4. I tried the Jaguar and was half thinking should I fuel save or go flat out. In the end, I pitted lap end of lap 5. You either have to commit to going flat out or fuel save if to want to try and beat the M4's. I tried the flat-out strategy in race 2 and 3, but was hampered by penalties of my own doing. I think a fast driver out front could beat the non-stopping M4's if they went flat out. One problem is that some drivers were qualifying in car 'A', but then racing in the M4.

Am on pole so might just go flat out!! Fingers crossed.
Good luck. The M4's in my race were short-shifting very early on. Get them out of your slipstream and hope some other drivers battle with them. It's also possible to not change tyres, just pit for fuel; not sure how good you are at driving on worn tyres.

Didn't go well, had to sack the race off when my penalties went sky high, will go again in a few mins.
Going to spend 10 mins in the livery editor to unwind.

I am only ranked B/B so perhaps its different up in the higher levels but there was only 1 M4 in the Monza event. The main handicap to me doing well are the penalties, i am very good at collecting them.

ffs disconnecting during match making, will this ever be fixed?!!

Yeah, definitely more in the higher ranks... on Suzuka on Saturday there was at least 16/17 M4s and maybe 3 other cars in all 3 races I did. I think the problem is, that the higher the rank, the more emphasis there is on winning or placing high... as you have a lot to lose. Lower down, I guess people just want to try the different cars out and do well. I dropped an SR rank last weekend and noticed the change in variety when being matched with D-B DR ranks.

 yeah Monza is ridiculous for it.

Tbh there wasn't too much to choose from really. Race C still is no option to me 'cos I'd like to get comfy with the driving part itself first before I have to deal with fuel / tire wear additionally . And BB Raceway appeared even more scary than Interlagos.
I think you've been unlucky with the always unpredictable matchmaking, but having clean races all in all is worth a lot. Tomorrow you'll be up front again 👍.

Not a bad start for Sigma ;)

Speaking of which, this is also the same track I set my first Top 10 in EMEA :)

Yes, wasn't really a fair match was it! There were a few Brits in the races yesterday, were we ever in the same race?

Yep 👍 saw you spin out twice at T1 in two consecutive races  one of them I think you gained positions back, but the other you finished 12th.

Gr.4 races are really ruined by people jumping in M4s after they set their fastest times in some other car...
PD either fix this crap this week, or Gr.4 is dead (at least to me) :grumpy:

But 5 laps around DT sounds like fun for today. Better than 3 laps around Interlagos for sure (that was once again, awful yesterday. People just cant race on this track :irked:)

I might also give that one a try, I guess we‘ll meet then :D

I also did the same by not racing Gr4 fuel consumption race.:ouch:

Was hoping nobody had noticed that.....:indiff:

Track was more slippery than it had been in the afternoon!
