@Shottah072 yeah it's a shame you have to go wide in those corners because there is time to gain, wish the track limits was more accurate but it is what it is I guess.
Managed get my rating back up to s by just making sure I wasn't overtaken :lol: had to stop around 7 though to take our cat to the vet after it got sick :nervous:

Man and I was happy with my time till I saw this.... :/ fair play mate that is an epic time - I was thinking I know where I could gain maybe 2-3 tenths max if I had more time, but I genuinly have no idea how you'e done that...

Edit - decided I should still be happy and just pretend your lap doesn't exist :lol:

Cheers mate yeah I definitely will, only been racing online for a couple of months now and got the game in February. I'm getting top ten now when I commit to a track but not pushing the leaders.
I know where to improve to get from 1:54:8 to a 1:54:6 but beyond that it's going to be a voyage of discovery :lol:
Congrats again on that time - awesome stuff

Watch replays of the best lap. Do the view where you can see what gear they are in and when they get on the throttle .. it helps a lot ..

Yeah i know. I am often struggling to get up to speed on this track when i havent driven it in a while because of the weird lines you need to take trough some corners.

Ah, that'll explain your leaving comment after the 12.40pm race today. I started at the back due to not qualifying, and it was very messy. at one point there were 3 cars trying to go around the hairpin and into to the Schumacher Esses! Looked like an easy win for you in that race; a 6 second gap?

Sort of; second place gave me a good battle for the first lap :) I saw your gamertag and was meaning to ask you post-race who you are in gtp but I forgot, so sorry about that :lol:
 
Did the Nurburgring today. I stopped after this race as I almost got off track as I could not hear the tire sound so I was not aware how much I was pushing.
This race is another example where I was able to gain by just staying clear of the others. After a few turns I'm in 2nd place and that is where the work started.
On the very last lap I had a guy in a RedBull livery pushing me off track as well as some more hits and somehow he ended up winning. It looked very confusing at the goal line with the ghosted cars serving penalties.

Here is the race. Look at the Red Bull during the last lap.

I really don't like having a time that's .0xx though... Makes my hopes go up that I can get under that second even though I have no more to push :indiff:
 
When pitting I usually dont change my tyres. Yes its a stupid risk. Should I really change tyres?

Haven't tried Race C yet, but if you have the pace to keep up with the competition without changing tires then don't, since it'll only save you time. But if you're having a hard time changing tires may be a good option so you can push much harder

Yep - Mazda - my mistake. Had really hard time trying not to lock the tyres and avoid massive oversteer managed to hit 1.09.916 but was a real challenge..

Yeah trail braking is a real challenge in that car. It's either you wash wide with understeer or it snap oversteers the moment you lighten upthe gas pedal. But it's what makes it super fun for me! :D

Whoah what sounds? Don't tell me it sounds horrible :( it already sounds good in GT6 :indiff:
 
My sound went missing as well after a couple races. Just engine noise, no kerbs or tires.

The penalty system seems to be worse now. I'm down to 63 SR after 3 races with only a few incidents on Monza. I get dive bombed and end up with 5 sec penalty while the car hitting me only gets 1. I get turned into by someone attempting to overtake on the outside while I'm as far on the inside as possible and I get 3 sec penalty, he gets 1. I guess the only solution is to pull over to the side when a car comes within 1 second of you....

Anyway, despite the penalty system doing everything to dampen the mood, there was plenty good racing as well on Monza. I had 3 wins and gained 4K DR to almost 45k. Just a shame the close battles were ended by a stupid SR drop I had no control over. Last race I was matched with one other A/A driver, rest all B to D.

Tomorrow Red Bull Junior on Lago Magiorre 10 laps. Who will survive.
GR.4 on Yamagiwamiyabi 3 laps
RX 7 on Tokyo central outer loop 4 laps
 
^ Yeah, I had to restart the game to get my sounds back. All I heard was the engine and gear shifts.

I'm disappointed there is no Gr.2 class race today. Are they waiting to add more Gr.2 cars before starting them?

I was on Race Entry for C and was able to set a 1:55.671 good for Top 3. 30 seconds to go and pretty excited... Until the game crashed. Great now I have to wait for another 30 minutes :banghead:
 
Still getting disconnected during match making in the daily race after the latest update anyone else?
Also i got grief at end of the next race for having poor internet. I use a wired connection with 15 Mbps down 750 kbps which is usually fine? Server ok for everyone else on the Dailies?

I bought the Junior right before my 1st C race today. After that I checked what daily car gift I won and it was... The Junior...:boggled:
