Another clean races from me (get 1 seconds penalty after this races), like I said last night every infield race become pinball or worse ping pong-esque race on early lap until pitting. I think put the throttle too much for chasing and running

It finally happened. Today was the first day my SR rating went below an S and it only took one race. Wow, Blue Moon Bay Infield is carnage if you ever have to drop further into the field to serve a penalty. Divebombs, bumping people repeatedly into corners, getting caught in other people's crashes and drivers slamming their brakes at the apex so you hit them and incur even more penalties. The worst part is that for all the penalties I had to serve, I continued catching right up to the same offenders and getting stuck behind them.

The twist to that saga was that the race afterwards, I must have been put in the penalty box because the room had only one other S driver while everyone else was C/S or lower. Suffice it to say that I took a rare win by only forty seconds or so.

SR jumped back up to 99 so got placed in a more competitive room next time and I should've been 2nd by around 6 seconds except I somehow caught up and then passed the driver in 1st for yet another win. Final race at Blue Moon Infield, well, you can hear the problem I had there.

Look at this guy. Props to the ghosting system

Now if I were just as lucky as you are with the penalty system...

New races for today?

Just raced Yamagiwa, fairly clean race except on the final lap I was in 3rd nearing the end and two different drivers divebombed me on the inside. One was A/S and knocked me almost off the track. Amazing that people at that level are concerned more with gaining one position than clean racing. I settled for 5th and a clean race bonus.

Not really feeling it today. No FIA races today. Just another lazy saturday for me.

My wheel is working. Had a quick test seems back to normal hopefully get to do some racing tonight

I'm thinking the exact same thing. Surely when you introduce new cars they're should be some events for them. In this case the amazing Gr.2 getting no Daily Race love.

GT500 cars were the big stars of the latest update but not even a hint of them in daily races apart from the Nations FIA race at Suzuka which btw was the best race I had on GTS.

Seriously I don't understand PD's logic and I never will.

The only thing I can think is they want to add a few more cars to the Gr.2 lineup before they introduce Gr.2 to the Sport dailies. But I agree, Gr.2 can't come soon enough.

There are no more cars to introduce unless they plan to include DTM in Gr.2 but I highly doubt that.

They may need to also conjure up more dream cars like in gr.3

Never raced on Tsukuba. Haven't raced in a week.. Suck driving the Skyline.. Should be an interesting night :)

Btw, has there been any E30 races yet? Damn if I missed those..

There was a 15 lap E30 race at Tsukuba, and I think a very similar race was in the Nations Cup yesterday. There hasn't been any short E30 races yet though.

A) One Make (Skyline GT-R blah blah you know it's the same car all week) -- Tsukuba (7 laps)
Tsukuba, yayy! Absolutely love racing there!

Since yesterday's one make race was on Suzuka East, it's suitable to talk about Suzuka as well. What are the best places for overtaking there?
When racing yesterday, all the overtakings happened due to big driving errors from the drivers in front of me. But when both drivers are about equal and racing without any bigger mistakes, what are the best overtaking strategies?
I find the straight not long enough - at best you are able to exit the slipstream and get next to the car in front, but that means you have to take the slower inside line to the first complex of corners, meaning you will have a slower exiting speed than the other guy who gets the wide outside line.
And pretty much the rest of the track you have to be exactly on the ideal driving line or you will be slower so no way of passing another fast driver there.
I'm just wondering if perhaps I'm missing some good strategies? There's definitely a fool-proof way to overtake on the first two right corners without losing exit speed and still keep it clean (not talking about braking late, then power-sliding into the corner and slamming the throttle to drift it through and take the lead, which also worked once yesterday lol)

Well that's special ! I was in that guy/girl's position yesterday, and even with my limited skill I managed to pull all the way over to the right and just lift off to serve my penalty. There's no excuse for that, it's not like there was a chance of mistaking a breaking point.
