Next race I go all defensive, slow down for accidents which promptly gets taken advantage off and go from 9th to 18th in half a lap. The rest of the race went great, finished 7th. All those first lap warriors couldn't hold out. Clean race bonus and no red dot.

It's possible to have a good first lap as well, yet not with too many A/S in the room :/
Stop trying to win the race in the first lap...

PD would've been better off giving us Gr.2 cars first so people get used to that speed before introducing the Gr.1 class, as it's obvious many people in that race can't maintain control of their cars in traffic.

Had the most frustrating race yet... Started second and was sticking behind first, but he made a mistake and spun out. I wasn't able to avoid him so I hit him and spun myself + 10 second penalty yay! Got dumped to the hellish US midfield and as expected, someone just had to do everything he could to retain the spot he just got and brake-checked me during the esses of Yamagiwa. And there goes another 10 second penalty. Who. The. Hell. Brakes. There????????

I'm 🤬 done

Absolutely disgusting races at Gr1 Lagos. Someone dropped from Sr S to Sr E in a race! And no, it wasn't someone who quit during the race and defaults to an incorrect value of E. Someone literally finished the race with an Sr E rating. DISGUSTING...

People need to be banned. Seriously. People were dumping each other left and right, it is abhorrent, pathetic and down right infuriating. This is a racing sim, not GTA stunt racing.

Also, the ghosting feature isn't working. Someone spun right in front of me, I hit them (had no where to go) and received a 10 second penalty. THE CAR WAS SPINNING BACKWARDS ACROSS THE TRACK -_-

The ghosting is very inconsistent. Sometimes it works even when it doesn’t need to, other times it doesn’t work when it really needs to. I don’t know whether to trust it or not.

Stuck in the 1.35s in race b. Cant get a really clean/perfect lap. Reckon a 1.34 is in there. Using the m coupe its nippy but not stable!

I find this interesting, in my experience the z4 feels very stable. Also the Lexus. Both I found to be great for stability and acceleration on corner exits.

Yamagawa has been giving me incredibly respectable and clean races tonight. This is the most fun I've had in sport mode in a while.:dopey:

Ran an entire race practically door to door with some fellow racing for first and I kept backing off before the chicanes leaving no more than a 0.300sec gap between us. I absolutely love when people leave space and don't turn in on you.

He ended up getting the win by nosing me out:cheers:

What a race:D yamagawa breeds good racing for me.

Interlagos first turn is a madhouse full of desperation and chicanery, ESPECIALLY in the lower SR races. I only know that because I was temporarily dropped to an SR of C today. My God... anything below an SR of A is just pure thuggery. Thankfully, I managed to claw my way back to an SR of S. I think I'll quit while I'm ahead.

Yama has not been my cup of tea so far. Raced on my 2nd id, got 2 victories and 1 last finish. All were clean races.

Race on unfamiliar track without worrying the lose of Dr in main account is pleased.:gtpflag:

This game feels so weird after being away, driving the viper around Yamagiwa for qualifying laps and i can’t even do the esses flat out anymore

Finally.

REDEMPTION! This one has been on my checklist for the longest time!

How about this for a comeback!:D

Gained 10k Dr tonight  and upped my clean race streak to 5 in a row before spinning out and blowing it. Now I'm back up to 5 clean in a row to end the night so I better have a clean first race tomorrow.

I must admit I had a bit of imposter syndrome when i first made DRA as I got there while battling it out in the lower SR ranks but now i made it back from 15k to 31k in two days all while at SRS. Now im much more confident in my 'worthiness'

Interlagos got a lot better in the evening. Perhaps all the trouble makers had been booted to the lower ranks. There was still the occasional idiot, yet just for one race, immediately shipped off to SR.B or lower at the end. The lowest they managed to get me was to 92 with 3 hits while pretty much all of my races were positive. No chance at a win though, there was always a 1:19 on pole. Also no more clean race bonus as getting hit in T1 is simply part of Interlagos...

Last time I did GR.1 on Interlagos with the 919, today the Mazda. I think I prefer the Mazda for over taking. I managed to get a lot of podium finishes even though I had to give up a bunch of positions in the first lap to stay out of trouble. Any 919 starting behind you is an immediate position loss, then there's always a dive bomb following right after, another one in T4, and then the race starts. First get back to starting position and gain a few more places during the race.

One race I started 2nd and it looked like to become a boring watch the gap growing race, the only time T1 went without a hitch. So I promptly spun out in lap 2, dropped to 7th, and made my way back to 2nd. Fun race after all, entirely planned....

As for the penalty system, it gets it right about 50% of the time. That's probably why the other car gets a 1 sec penalty as well just in case as it's just guessing.

Yo! I was in those races with you. I'm dark--stranger--

The penalty system is at it's alltime worst.. Tried to get past a guy for like three laps and when I finally exit a corner quicker than him he sidebashes me three times.. And when my car is sideways on the track he still pushes me. Nobody gets a penalty and he finishes with a blue sr rating. Ok.. Next race there's just a little bit of contact driving side by side with someone. It doesn't affect either of us on the track but I get a penalty for that little contact. After that I get bombed in a hairpin. I crash to the wall. The guy who pushed me finishes with blue sr.. Ok.

It's frustrating that they keep changing the rules all the time. I guess they have to change them so people wouldn't learn to exploit them but still..

bit incident happen on my last race in Interlagos

Porsche (Me) get 1 seconds penalty he get 10 seconds (not sure 10 or 1 since orange thing on bottom too small but I think it's 10 since he slow down much longer than me). I on A-S and he on A-A

I will tell my situation on there, that's last lap I on my pace but as you can see I little bit late on turning in turn 4. So he hit me, to think that's second time he's miss the turn and almost go straight.

I will say I the culprit but did he really deserve 10 seconds penalty? Ah I already say sorry to he.

I just know if you get disconnect after finish will make other jump 1 position lol, so there's my first win on Interlagos

Race A: One Make GT-R V spec - Tokyo East Outer Loop, 3 laps
Race B: One Make Porsche Cayman GR 4 - Nurburing GP, 3 Laps
Race C: GR 4 - Willow Springs Big Willow, 12 Lap [7 x Fuel 8 x Tires]
A) One Make (Skyline you know the rest) -- Tokyo East Outer Loop (3 laps)
B) One Make (Cayman Gr.4) -- Nurburgring GP (3 laps)
C) Gr.4 -- Willow Springs: Big Willow (12 laps, 7x fuel, 8x tire)

I think I'll be finding something else to do
Thanks! A and B for me I guess if I get to play later

Just bagged a 2nd on the Race A was pretty clean, my only penalties came from bashing the walls hehe. Wish i knew how to stop the Skyline understeering so much, i know am probably just going in a bit hot. What brake balance do people favour?
