10 laps practice in - first person sub 1:59 with a 1:58.9
First time gr3 on suzuka well chuffed - although I think there is more time to come yet

One funny thing that happened in my race... on the starting straight, I remembered I needed to change to radar (from the sector split times thing, which I use in qualifying) and then when focused again I realised I was approaching the 50m board as opposed to my usual braking point of the 100m board :dunce: swerved wide so as to avoid crashing but in doing so and then re-entering the track, put myself into last. Ah well...

Race C? 'Cause you can actually brake there ;)

Good race manner and sportsmanship:tup::gtpflag:

I had my twentieth race win in the bag, but someone cheated! There is a new pit glitch to automatically win. I am furious

Creating new thread as soon as video uploads to youtube!
New pit glitch??? Please.. explain!

No problem buddy, been trying but there is always at least 4 or 5 drivers a second or more when i get into matchmaking, usually at least 1 in the 1.07's. So frustrating i just cant keep up at all. :banghead:

But yeah, I have been using -2 on the E30...

I'm having similar problems with matchmaking recently. Haven't had a top half start for weeks now... DR tumbling :(

Do they know you clock out a minute early every day?

 I am usually out the door a couple of mins before 4 tbh, but I get in at like 10 to 7 so...

Yeah usual go for -2 on the E30 pretty much tried it in every setting today trying to a bit faster got down to 1.09.506 now still only good enough for 3rd on the grid in a C/S field though.
I'd be well pleased with a 3rd place start these days

Do you have any assists on?

Are you sliding the car? Pretty much the tiniest slide on it costs you 1/10ths of a second

Yeah, this... so annoying as the car slides so easily. Any tiny little sound of skid and you lose 0.2-0.3 easily...

Counter steer on week, nothing else on. Trying to keep the sliding down the i best i can here guys i use my ears as much as i can guess i just got to keep practicing i guess finishing 4th or 5th ain't that bad, just want that winning feeling back i am currently stuck on 97 wins.

"stuck on 97" gtfo

Maybe try CSA Strong and see how you get on?

Thanks @Robben ! Dropped to a 1:58.6xx :) I know I've got a 1:58.4/5 in me though. Not sure wether to start racing when I get back in a couple of hours or carry on to get the better time.... 0.4 clear of 2nd at the moment but doubt that will be the case later

Thoughts? The last penalty I thought the guy was being a dirty bas**** but after watching his lines I came to the conclusion that he was simply clueless

I want to - I hate feeling like I've left time on the table though.... I guess I'll see what the leaderboard looks like when I get back 👍
Oh yeah that's true
Usually I do my quali in the 15 minute time slot but if I made a mistake that I think cost me too much, I'll even quit the entry just to trim it a bit more
Or try to do it within the 7 minutes I get before the next race :D

Okay, am I missing something or if I finish with the penalty non-served it just adds to my final time ? So for example if I have 1 sec penalty, and finish with 10 sec time - it will become 11 - I'm asking because I just got punted in the last turn by a guy behind me and I got 1 sec penalty - he got 4 but he stopped before the finish line and somehow (I finished without serving the penalty) he was in front of me on the grid....

Yes every penalty you get will be rounded up (0.999 seconds = 1 second, 1=1 second, 1.001 = 2 seconds) and then added to your final time. If you get a 1 second penalty but finish 2 seconds behind somebody with a 4 second penalty you'd be put in front of him in the final results.

If you have 1.7 second it will round up to 2 seconds. Other than that, you only get added what you have in remaining penalties. So if you have 1 second, it will simply add 1 second. If you brake before the finish line and time it correctly, you can burn a penalty and cross the line without losing too much time but this can be risky as you could either brake too early and stop, or brake too late and still cross with penalties but have slowed down and allowed people behind to catch. The best thing to do is just cross with the penalty and take your chances.

You didn't need to serve the two penalties you got in lap 1... you lost way more time than the penalty was.
Also, the racing looks a bit... chaotic. T1 was ridiculous.
How long does it take before they increase? I've always just gotten into the habit of serving them right away
