I couldn't be bothered, tried Mad Max out and then finished some livery stuff for the E30 and the Gr.4 Citroen on request of @bmxmitch :lol:
I had a 1:10.557 set when the E30 at Tsukuba was in the nations cup but I don't think that that was a particulary good lap :dunce:

EDIT: Must've been a terrible one :lol: I guess I could've gone into the 1.07's but Tsukuba is not a track I'm too eager to race on in Sport Mode as it doesn't really allow any overtakes and the races end up by having as much on-track-overtakes than the Australian GP 2018. Same goes for Suzuka East but since I got a decent q-time there (#3 in Germany :sly:) I was confident enough and scored some wins :D
 
That’s annoying, I don’t have the credits for the redbull and haven’t won it on the wheel of fortune - I never was a good saver.

Seriously, don't even check what the daily's are.. If there's a combo you like it'll make you sad :D Experienced during the easter..

Didn't do dailys last night, but grinded a little towards P3.. Still 8 mil to go..

Might have to go for C if it's the Redbull.. Crazy fun car. What are the other races today?
 
Well, that was a disappointment. By the time I was done with my FIA race and jumped back into Suzuka in the R8, all the aliens started showing up. No chance to win but at least I got on the podium every time.

...and yes, I have proof I tried doing this.





The biggest problem with the R8 is Turn 1 and the hairpin. The former you can adjust the approach for something more consistent but I was constantly fighting the car through the hairpin trying to keep it from snapping around on me. Oh, and the car is real handful in traffic because you may have to lift off more than usual and that's the last thing you want to do in this car.

I do have a feel for the track when it comes to drifting :lol: And I guess if we get some people together again on the weekend we'll do some more E30 races at Tsukuba :D

Not that I'm going to do the race anyway, but I accidentally bought the Daddy Red Bull last week when the Junior was up for Race C :lol: :dunce:

I do have a feel for the track when it comes to drifting :lol: And I guess if we get some people together again on the weekend we'll do some more E30 races at Tsukuba :D

Yeah, its made for drifting... especially in the E30 which just wants to drift even when going in a straight line.

It's huge fun tho :D Especially if you just barely slide through corners it looks so cool in the replays :cool:

It is quite a problem, as the main selling point is FIA and online races, but with that crappy matchmaking and penalty system they just can't do that right, unfortunately. It is not ready. (And this is the best scenario. If they claim it ready, then the problem is bigger than I assumed.)
 
Fuming btw.

BB Raceway is where I have had most recent success. Group 3 Nurb GP is always a good track for me.

Guys be careful. I just lost Race C on Monza because when I'm lapping people they ghosts 75% of the time...I received a penalty of 10 seconds because of that stupid bug.

Well-documented over the past week or so on here... I'm really struggling at the moment. Despite beating my PBs and getting times within a couple of seconds of top 10, I can't get a top half start which means I am basically guaranteed to lose DR every race I enter. Recently, I've only got a decent start in the Cayman race at Nurb GP and before that Miyabi in the MX5, then before that was BB Raceway in the MR2 (the night I got promoted to DR A)*

*actually this is not true... I have a feeling it was the Civic. MR2 was 1st March.

Gave up trying for A or now. B is my level at te moment. Not got the time anymore. Only do FIA and 1 or 2 races after work.

TBH mate, I'm thinking I may just enter a load of races to lose my A ranking. I can't compete with being matched against Nuschel and other aliens. Most nights I spend 1-1.5 hour qualifying to get my absolute best time then I have only enough time for 1 race, most of the time I end up starting within the bottom 3 and lose DR. Getting a bit disheartened.
