did everyone lose tons of DR yesterday or something? like 3 s/s guys on my friends list got reset to A/B and I lost 7k for seemingly no reason at all (one DC but you only lose like 2k for a dc right?)
Not an S/S but A/S (alternate account)
Got back to B/C because of some circumstances yesterday
 
I don’t have budget to buy one RB for race c in EU account. The game gives me one.:cheers:

It is quite a problem, as the main selling point is FIA and online races, but with that crappy matchmaking and penalty system they just can't do that right, unfortunately. It is not ready. (And this is the best scenario. If they claim it ready, then the problem is bigger than I assumed.)
This is probably why they are only doing “test” races still.
 
What boring races at Nurburgring. I get what they might be trying to do to avoid the T1 chaos but everyone is almost a second apart at the start Which basically is just follow the guy in front for four laps because most of us are all evenly matched pretty hard to make up 1second in four laps
 
Oh lord... that could be quite messy.

Really itching to race tonight but I hate BB raceway and Nurburgring GP hates me. Maybe I'll give Monza a try with the red bull. (I will regret this if I decide to do it)
BB isn’t that bad with the E30, actually it’s fun and challenging. Take it for a spin and do several laps.
 
Well, second race of the night for me, NurbGP. It was awesome :D! Yesterday at Suzuka I just couldn't get into the groove with the Porsche, or most other cars and had to go with the Viper. Today the Porsche was handling just the way I wanted. I did a little pre-qualifying just to get an idea of what I could do. Did main qualifying and shaved another second off. Was on the way to reducing that some more when the game cut me off to get the race under way. Qualified P8.

There must be a bigger pool of D/S and C/S now, because I *finally* got matched with my peers. 15 drivers more or less even mix of C/D. 👍

The race starts with auto drive dropping *in the middle of the last corner* :eek:. I was ready for it, and there was some carnage on the first corner, but the person behind me was far enough behind to not rear end me, and I picked my way through the mess coasting before hitting the loud pedal. Nice clean racing, but I did see some collisions. I made it up to 4th, but the guy behind was nipping at my heels. and after a couple of corners he had a better line and I moved out of the way to let him pass on the inside and ducked in behind. I noticed that he seemed a bit unsteady on some corners, squirming about on the exit. I found myself a number of times right up behind him. Managed to keep calm for a change, backed off a bit so I didn't rear end him and patiently waited. He slid off the track on the exit of a corner and through I went!

I would have been happy with 5th, but finished with 4th. Groovy! And as a bonus, I finished with a clean race bonus :cheers:.
 
How’s the RedBull race at Monza going on?
I wanted to try, but maybe it’s best just to hot lap.
 
Haven't watched any TOP 10 replays, what do you mean by "wall-braking" - is this a thing on this track?

If you watch the Top 4, they ride the wall into Turn 1, which slows them down more, meaning they can brake later into Turn 1. As long as they don't hit the wall hard enough, they won't be penalised.

EDIT: I'm actually 1st in Europe of the 'non T1 wall-riders'

Managed to get the record wins trophy along the way too :gtpflag:3 more to triple figures!

I noticed. :) I'm in an odd place pace wise now, I've improved I think but not by enough to challenge you guys at the very top but I'm now often faster than a lot of others, even when having a scrappy race. There are only a handful of guys that regularly run around my pace and usually they are the sort that quite like a bit of contact if you give them a chance. Still I don't mind trying to chase all the quick guys even when I know I can't do it, better than winning by 10-20 seconds.

Thanks mate! You're still in second btw ;) I'm trying really hard to get a 54.2. I already improved my time a bit to a 54.433. You should try the Lexus aswell, it's just an insane car around this track.
 
Is NSX getting buffed? suddenly feel hard to runaway from NSX now, need some block and early brake to keep it in front.

 
Anyone else think the X2014 Standard is 10x more fun than the Junior?

(I'm guessing not since I couldn't even find one race with more than six DR A and above in 3 attempts)
 
No but the Lexus power was reduced from 108% to 107%
ah... well I know about that and I didn't have any problem about that even my pace more faster than when 108% :lol: then only Lexus get power reduce eh.

I have not used either and Monza is not the place to try it for the first time. :lol:

The thing with this Race C is that it is fine and very enjoyable after turn 1 if you have like-minded opponents. I got punted down to the mid-pack at T1 in all three of my races but you just need to avoid driving into anyone from then onwards and you can get back to the top 3 or whatever by lap 2. The car is really fun to drive.

Won't do it for me. Monza T1 is too risky. I'm at Dr S, and and every time I finish 5th or lower, I lose points. Last night I was pushed around some times at Suzuka, finished 6th, I think, and lost 900 points. No way I'm gonna risk Monza with this car. If it were Suzuka, I'd go. Usually, people don't have the guts to go diving into T1.
 
I figured that my SR rating is more important than my DR rating, so only did a few B races today, where i was as careful as possible, trying to get down from DR A and back to SR S :-)

It kind of does, because I wouldn't be demoted because I belong there in the other ranks, but because T1 at Monza is Hell. My races are already with only a few drivers in the front pack (some S and A drivers) usually. I don't want go go back to A or B because of a crash fest.

I'm not trying to be seem as arrogant, I'm far away from being an alien.

You got good results from what I saw mate :) in the top ten quite a bit too. Frustrating when those around aren't racing fair though - hope you had some decent races without being bumped off 👍

Woop!:cheers: not sure wether to go back on and chase that 54.6 I know I can get, I did a 54.7 in my last race which was nice but frustrating aswell :lol:
Wouldn't be surprised if you got it honestly :), I know you did a 1:54.1 the last time gr3 raced at the nurburgring :sick:
