Win # 2 today

They either do the same old races that we've seen numerous times, or do races that people don't want.
Not everyone. Also today's race is just the Nordschleife (not 24h). We don't get this version much. I prefer this over the GP and I love driving the 'Ring. All of my races were clean and I had several podiums finishes. I got to race with Dezcom , He's the reason why none of my finishes were wins, lol. I just wish I didn't have to work today as I'd still like to do the Kart race. I had a blast with it the last time it was in the dallies.

I see a lot of people on here complaining about today's races. I complaining because they didn't do this on my day off. I spent my time in the livery editor on my off day because I didn't like the races that day. As the saying goes, ' You can't please all of the people all of the time.' But as least they mixed it up today.

What is it with the weekend selection of races. Awful for 2 weeks on the bounce now.

You watch, Mondays will be great.

They will be great when I have no time to race them

Not happy . Qualified P5 for the 'ring. I was looking forward to a good race, I love this track. But no, I had to be stuck with BS drivers in my race, and as usual, they bashed and crashed their way through with no regard for anyone else but their position. Then there was the drop kicks who serve their penalties in the middle of the friggin track :dunce: !

Still a DR/C but my SR dropped from 99 to 66 👎. Finished P13.

I've been doing Race A trying to claw back some SR. For both races so far, at the start the two cars behind me have been able to go sailing past me at the start, with my foot down and normal shifts. Any idea what might be happening?

Watch the replay, maybe those cars started in a higher gear due to autodrive?

Sometimes rolling starts are unfair with the autodrive system as it puts some people right at the rev limit of a gear, or starts some people in the middle of a corner etc

I do remember this stuff happening quite a bit at Suzuka East. On one day, the people who started 1st and 3rd would always end up dropping down to 3rd and 5th due to the system.

So change up right away?

And one of those Japanese Highway tracks starts 1st at the top end of 2nd gear while everyone else is already in 3rd, swamped by the end of the straight

Did a 3rd race. Was matched to DR/A and B drivers, so qualified P9 instead of P5. I after the fiasco at Nurburgring, I was already dropping DR, and finishing 2 races in the bottom half had me 100 points away from dropping to DR/D. Given my race history, it was only a matter of time before I dropped. That 1000+ drop when most of my gains are a few hundred kinda hurts, but maybe I'll get cleaner racing. After 3 races with no apparent SR penalties I scrapped together 11 SR... still in A :(.

Depends on how autodrive starts you. I was using an example for when some drivers were started at full revs and would instantly hit the rev limit and not accelerate.

Yep. This happened a few times for me when starting pole at Nurb GP (going back a month or so). I was in 1st gear on the straight! Would immediately get caught by second and third place by turn 1. I think that is fixed now but know it can still happen in certain grid positions at certain tracks.

We should be in a tight-ish 2 by 2 rolling start, all at the same speed/gear.

All tee'd up for Brands Hatch. I managed a 51.xxx for pre-qualifying. I'm not bold enough to shave much more off that. Think I could manage a 50.xxx but nothing like that during the race. Sports tyres? Realy?

Invisigoth - what qualifying time did you have to get 5th. on the grid?

New here but wanted to say i'm happy they put Nord track. I like using 4wd cars so i picked Huracan but was surprised majority use that car. 1st time i ended up 7th because i was impatient and tried to overtake an overdefensive megan and ended up going off track. Next race i just picked the Lancer and cruised all the way from 7th to 3rd place even though i raced slow (but happy to complete it clean).
Never won a race and i'm B/S so it feels weird.

Some of the nicest people I know are DR-D/DR-C. Hope to see you on the grid today.

I'm guessing by NASCAR you're in America region. I race in Asia so it's unlikely, but 👍 for the sentiment :D.

Since I frequently get mismatched with all the different DRs, here's my general take on things. DR/D crash into you not because they are dirty, but just lack some control. DR/C crash into you because they sometimes get a bit ambitious. DR/B crash into you because they think you are beneath them, deserve your position or are simply an obstacle in their way. DR/B SR/S seem to race dirtier than DR/B SR/A. DR/A will simply smile at you patiently, wait for you to make a mistake and cruise on by with a little wave. DR/S are clearly aliens (read, japanese idol singers) bent on taking over the world and ruling from behind the scenes :p.

OK, daily race. Brands Hatch was a bit of a hoot. Sadly due to the usual mismatch what I thought was a pretty decent time got me P14. Mostly DR/A and B with a few Cs and us Ds. The grid was Japanese and Australian. 7 of us, the most Australians I've ever seen in a race .

The race was mainly clean although I did get punted off a few times. I kept getting dive bombed in the second corner, only to pass them on the third corner. Finished where I started. Lost more DR, but clawed back enough SR to get me back to S, but it's a tenuous foothold :scared:.

Not really a NASCAR fan, but I did a "Race with Rusty" at Richmond- got to do 17 laps in a DEI-built Impala. (My avatar pic- hahahah.) I actually get wrecked more when I'm gridded with the DR-B and up folks, it seems. Just ran Nords, gridded 9, finished 5, 7:37 Q, nice clean race. (not my best Q effort...) Silver RAYS Mustang...

I made a top 25! :gtpflag:

Soon to be knocked off no doubt haha but first ever for me so had to post.

Also using the g29 and it wasn’t too bad after all, just took some getting used to.

"He's turnin left... he's turnin left...." Not a big fan either, although I did catch a race that was part of the sprint cup where they included the infield. Might have been Daytona, not sure.

My fav for Nurburgring is the RSR, but I realised it was Gr4. Could have gone with the M4, it reminds me of the RSR. In the end I went with the matt black Viper with elderly driver symbols. I didn't get disqualified for breaking track noise levels ;). I might have tried the WRX, but I was afraid it would burst into flames....

I call it the smile of maximum pressure

I... actually don't mind if that happens.
If anything please let this happen
