Took the 458 at Maggiore today and managed a better time compared to the Porsche I drove before even using assists (can't drive this one without them)
Got happy with it, 3rd in Americas so far! (was 2nd when I timed this)



After spending this month driving for Ferrari in Manufacturers it's one lap pace is really good once you get used to it. It still chews the rear tyres though so in race trim it loses out a bit.

Do you mean stuff like Traction Control, Transmission etc?

If so, you are unable to during a daily race, however you can watch the replay and see what assists people are using based of the HUD.

In a lobby you are able to see assists through an option near the top

A+ sounds more like 'Could do Better' !!!

That sums up SR.S pretty much!

Hmm half a boring track for the Daily B or sliding around Tsukaba again for sprint races. And GR2, all to make Tokyo look more attractive? Time for a rigorous bumper test on those GR.2 cars.
 
I've literally been ranting about this to my irl friends ever since I knew about it and they just don't get it
I want S not A+ :mad::mad::mad:

I'm hoping there's still an S and it starts at 75,000. The cap isn't high enough in Europe at least and that's why top 24 races had to be changed to standings instead of DR because over 30 were at the cap. It was meant to be very exclusive, and now guys 2 seconds+ off the pace are able to reach and stay in S.

That came out more elitist than I'd like :lol:

Honestly I'm in the same boat as you. I don't have 75k DR but if they made S stay if you're at that level I'd strive to grind back to S again, all 4 of my accounts. If I don't get there, then I don't deserve S in the first place at all.
S rank is the pinnacle of GTS. If you have it, you're the elite. A+ really puts me off since it doesn't give off that "I'm a top dog" vibe :lol:
If we're gonna talk about S rank, it's going to sound elitist no matter what we do so meh :lol:

I wonder if these ranking classification changes are in some way related to the forthcoming FIA seasons? I.E. DR S rank may become 75'000 + pts, or by invitation only?

I'm sure its not coincidental that this ranking classification change has happened, and on the same day a forthcoming update has been announced...

Hey @mthomas_95 could you be a doll and try to see if your DR goes above 75k through one daily? :O

Congrats!

This makes me wonder, are the assists really slowing you down that much if top 10 times are possible with them?
