How is it possible to be awarded a clean race bonus but end up with a negative SR?

You can get a clean race bonus in a race you got a penalty in.

Basically it's not working properly, I had my clean race streak snapped yet again earlier after the game decided I didn't have a clean race, I was 2nd and not near the guy in front or the one behind so it wasn't possible to hit anyone and I never once left the track and got zero penalties but clean it was not apparently.

In my experience Daily Race A is best to up SR.

Least risk because of less laps, least number of cars and it's one make.

Mostly less laps = better chance for for me because I still drive scared. :scared:

Not if someone hits you and/or you get a penalty, it's a likely SR loss then even with the rest of the race clean as there are too few laps to balance it out. Race C is by far the best, as more laps, unless it's at one of the known problem tracks.

It affects those at the pointy end of the FIA Championships, so the most high profile part of all of Sport Mode. Even lifting the cap to 100k would spread the top guys out more as atm 1 bad race or disconnect pushes you down dozens of spots on the DR leaderboard.

It does so admit it’s not a concern for me, but raising the cap would a only be a short term fix. But to me they need more players at the cap so more are fighting it out to be in the top race. If it was based purely on season results it wouldn’t be a problem imo.

Cool and interesting. Completely opposite. I guess it's what makes the game deep.

I did a couple daily B races, mostly clean, some messy due to some heated tempers in the room. However it's all kinda boring, can't really move up more than 1 or maybe 2 places on that track when everybody behaves.

Then I did a Tokyo race and it was surprisingly clean and fun! It's a shame you can't adjust the gear ratios as you're constantly hitting the rev limit while drafting on the straight, which also sucks fuel. I had to do 1.5 laps in map 2 to make it and arrived at the finish on fumes, ran out 100 yards before the line. 4th place for my first attempt, not bad :)

Yes the Gr3 cars are too fast for that version of Maggiore, there is really only one good overtaking spot. Going past anywhere else requires mistakes from the guys in front and since I was starting behind 1st and/or 2nd in the EMEA rankings most races when I ran it this morning, I wasn't even close enough to profit from a big mistake, something that they never made anyway. I also drove off the track like a dummy and even catching and passing guys I was quicker than was not at all easy.

that is why i lost DR, I knew even before I entered the races, but i'm not so concerned about it since it's easy enough to get back. you did a great lap, my optimal was in the top 10 but it would have taken me hours to reach it probably, i'm fast but pretty inconsistent with karts, i make many mistakes

I ended in the top 6 with my lap, including the ones using drive aids and fastest excluding the ones using drive aids. but it was quite not as fast as could go, my fastest being a 47.370 without drive aids, was good enough for a top 2.
Drive aids, CSA in particular, are a big help in karts. On BH Indy even more, elaughing to take Turn 1 and 3 flat out.

Also I must say that it was a bit unfair since I race almost exclusively Karts since almost 6 months. That's how I won all 10 races almost on a easy way with gaps between 12 and 34 seconds to de 2nd. In every other car I'm certain you will drive circles around me

Is the race c on Tokyo where it’s the hairpin first? Pls say yes cos for no particular reason I get on really well round there aha
Ahh it’s the one I hate ugh the first corners are bad
Also is the nsx a dog in a straight line or am I missing something
And also very tight on fuel ran out on both stints right at the end

Just did the TT at Tsundere. Qualified P9, was down to P11 at one point. Finished P8. Not spectacular. Thought I'd gained back some of the SR I lost at Monza. I'd lost another SR point :grumpy:.
You've only seen the tsuntsun
I've got the deredere
Wednesdays are my day off

I think for now the A+ is a website update in time for Friday, and Friday's game update will change the DR calculations if there is indeed a change.

You'll trigger a lot of excitement among many top European guys talking about invitations
Awww
Last seen robben on Monday. No story update. Only a few clicks of like.:(

Did 3 race C at East Outer Loop last night, it was so much fun!!

The huge downforce is much stronger than Gr.3 VGT so I had to adjust the way to tackle some high speed corners.

managed a 1:47.620 Qualify lap and jump into race as B/S rank.

the first race was just a warm-up as I started on pole and the time gap between 2nd is 3 and 1.5 seconds respectively,
and won by miles even I got 10 seconds penalty for the "wall riding" mistakes.

The third race was truely a fascinating race!

The grid is a very tight one. Me on pole with 1:47.6 and P2~P9 are 1:48s, P10~P14 are 1:49s.

Get away from the start and immediately pulled out a 1.5s gap on lap 1 using fuel map 1.
Then I changed to fuel map 2 with some short shifting, trying to keep the speed while saving the fuel.
fortunately I managed to open up the gap to 3 sec. pitted on lap 4 and keep pushing on the 2nd stint.

the Aussie (edit: New Zealander. deeply apology) behind me did fastest time on lap 7 with 1:49.0. But I won it back by changed back to fuel map 2 and did a 1:48.5 lap
despite running out of fuel 5 meters before finish line!

P2 is lapping at a incredibly high pace that I can't afford making any mistakes or get any wall collision penalty.
Won by 3.8 secs and with great feeling of accomplishment.

The race finish time is 15:04.0 which is near 18 secs faster than P3.

you can see the screenshot and footage of me ran out of fuel before the line! :scared:

Perhaps racing is cleaner in your region, all that blue! I only see 2 red S, jealous!

I just got brake checked by auto drive. Car right in front of me decided to quit, I didn't see the flashers in time, ran into auto drive instantly slowing down right before the car disappeared, 3 sec penalty and instant white S for that one incident, thanks.

Tokyo is lots of fun anyway, can't believe there are still so many people pitting twice. You get a nice time boost by not changing tires as well. One race I got crashed into repeatedly all the way to 18th in lap 2, still finished 3rd. That's at SR 99, A/S B/S room...
