you should be ghosted AS SOON AS you start going side ways , i was following somebody very closely at dragon trail , he starts losing the rear at the exit turn 2 and i have no time to react and avoid him + i was damn close to him! so 10 sec penalty for me after 30 seconds of racing -_-

Managed to get some time to set a q time. First try on Race B is a 1:28.550. Precisely 0.099 seconds away from Top 10
I wanna get in there, so I did a second try. I beat my best by a whopping 0.014 seconds!

Edit: Safely into the Top 10 :D

So I clicked load ghost for Race A and the time I have is 50.086 which would put me third in EMEA right now.

Doesn’t matter anyway because I’ve no been disconnected twice in a row, man what a hit.

Get well soon:tup:

Well I already get better, but I just get tired with game. I just tried GR.1 race and already get bored in midrace, moreover my DS4 get broke on R2 can't doing half throttle + analog starting broken too for now

When you get the message on your screen: "Disconnect from the Network" - is that caused my my own server or does it happen to all at the same time?

Should try resetting ds4 to see if it helps.

For anyone starting on Pole at Dragon Trail today and using the Lexus, the game will start you right at the top of 1st gear and you have to shift instantly to 2nd, and then once again quickly to 3rd.

This doesn't happen in the NSX. Not sure about the GTR

The shifter helps in these cases. I set my shifter to second gear (or whatever's required) and bam, no disadvantage :D

Finally get a break from racing with the aliens in Race B. Start on pole with a Q time of 1:29,7 thinking this is my shot for a win. Lo and behold so did everyone else behind me. Punted off in first chicane, worked my way back to 4th and spun out trying to pass on the inside. Oh well. just have to laugh. I love these Gr2 cars and hope PD continues to work them into the dallies.

Think imma going to steal your idea.

Yes drawing is:censored:. Done it on sketch with my fat fingers.
But how would you use your camera as your right stick and shift at the same time? :p
Question is how would your thumb get there in the first place
I wouldnt use it if I invented it. It would be crap.
Honestly, no I think it'd be good if you just find a more ergonomic position :D
Or maybe on an Xbox controller for Forza 7 which has the option to manually clutch using the controller

You could always use the back of the pad, like the Wiimote B trigger.

Alright so i thought my time for race B was ok, a 30.8. Turns out its rubbish only got me to 9th on the grid B/A race. So any setup tips am using the RC F and a DS4. Thanks in advance.

3rd gear for first chicane, a clean exit is very important, while also using all the kerbs.

The tight right hander soon after, either use 2nd or 3rd, your choice. I personally use 3rd for consistency and momentum. But brake at the cone and be on the kerbs on the left on entry to maximise your corner speed throughout (as the radius of the corner increases if you use the entry kerb heavily)

For the esses, stay in 5th and don't brake. Just lift off slightly and make sure you hit the first kerb (but don't go over it).

The tight hairpin later on, I'm not that good at so can't say much. But don't brake too late as your exit is compromised. I use 3rd and then try to accelerate carefully while also going to the edge of the track on exit.

Full throttle bus-stop.

Then 3rd gear for the final turn, make sure to hit a very late apex and then use as much kerb as possible on the exit.

Brake Bias? Traction?

I haven't changed the BB at all. TC 0. You can limit the the difficulty of using TC 0 by using 3rd gear in the hairpins. 2nd gear is possibly faster but definitely more difficult. The only corners where you may lose traction is the first chicane if you hit the first kerb too much, or if you try to exit at 100% full throttle all the way. Or the tight hairpin before the bus-stop. I tend to stay at about 40% throttle for a bit and then go to 100% when safe. And the final corner however if you aim for a late apex it should be ok.

Cheers man i was using BB -2 so will try 0, also i cant use manual gears i get confused! I always struggle on Group B cars never quiet on the pace find it hard to turn the traction off also as i tend to spin up the rears too much otherwise.

Yes and for anyone starting behind pole be prepared to get dive bombed all over the place and get a bigger penalty than the other driver who caused the contact.

Just reminded me why I don't usual race the Race A or B and why I don't often race at Dragon Trail Seaside.

One thing I noticed while qualifying for the dailies is that I had no problem jumping from Gr. 2 to Gr. 1
Gr. 4 to 3 always jolts me and I have to adapt to the new sense of speed for around 2-5 runs before I get used to the new car. Same for Gr. 3 to 2, but not 2 to 1.

If anything, Gr. 2 to 1 feels like going from Gr. 3 to 4! Gr. 2 may not be faster, but damn are they monsters

I was going to message you after a race earlier telling you that I was going for a bit and that you could have pole but you left before I had the opportunity to :/

I got hit that much my SR dropped anyway and so I was put in a lower room with 2 of the guys that were annoying me and the rest were D rated drivers. Luckily I got away at the start from pole so won easily as they couldn't keep bashing their way past.

Dragon Trail Seaside is not my best track either and that's before I have to spend most of the time watching the radar and taking evasive action.
