Totally avoiding the Gr.B.
From 15th place to 6th but i ended up crashing on a GTR that lost control which cost me 3 second penalty. Luckily behind me there was fights so had5 or 6 second of advantage to burn off the penalty.

Still, if it wasn't for cheating in the track and less chaos, it'd be a nice track to get used to. Just ended up taking it slow :lol:

After a massive attack of madness I thought about giving Race B a try today :eek: ...
It most likely will be a rating killer and I've seen those shortcutted qualifying laps, however, do people shortcut in race too ? Every hint's welcome ;) ... at least I want to be prepared as good as possible :cool:.

Well after the hit on my DR yesterday with the Cayman I did not want to lose myself. Waking up early and going with the dog at 08:15 in the morning hoping to be on time for the races at 08:30 and 09:00 with the Cayman.

Was just on time for the race at 08:30 (by the second) and was on pole with my quali under 9 minutes yesterday before being dropped back to DR B yesterday. So easy victory....

... if it wasnt for the fact my wheel was not connected yet.... :banghead:

Hitting the L3 button to turn on my radar and nothing happening probably wasn’t a sign. Sigh.

Ah well I am not easy to be taken out of my comfort zone so wanted to start at 09.00 again for my last chance. Untill I discovered that the new daily race starts at 09.00 when I thought 09.30. So had no qualify and gave up. Being customed to the Cayman and needing to win with the 911 was just not meant to be.

I had mine disconnect from power in the middle of the race, even worse :D

What wheel do you have do you have so you can pick L3 to be radar?

Thrustmaster T300. You can chose your own buttons for everything. So I made it L3 and R3 for scrolling the menu. So the radar is just one click. Love that position there.

The TV shutdown after 2 hours is also always fun. Middle in race and then that 10 sec warning and panick :)

May just be a case of turning up/down volume by 1 (before race), stopping idle shutdown. Its done that to me before.

I'm sure the default settings allow you to do that? I've got the Plus and Minus button for scrolling through the car menu and then the rotary function (the red thingy) to adjust them.
 
I must be the only one whos happy for N24 2 days in a row, you know, what with the real life N24 running as I type! They've covered it very well I feel. Will be doing as many N24 races as I can today once the real race has finished, and to keep in the theme i'm going to run my Rowe M6!

Why!!!! Finally get the courage to try race C, waiting for race to start and kicked just as going to the grid. Not happy at all, why is this still happening [Lost my SR S rank now down to A because of this]. Oh well so any tips on a good car for the race? I want something fairly easy on its tires, was thinking the AMG16?

Yeah the plus minus buttons I can scroll with, but I haven't figured out a way to bind specific button just to radar.

Even the red wheel thingy is so weird in gts, it will skip steps and not change value at all, and sometimes it works just fine. Works perfect in other games :/

I must be the only one whos happy for N24 2 days in a row, you know, what with the real life N24 running as I type! They've covered it very well I feel. Will be doing as many N24 races as I can today once the real race has finished, and to keep in the theme i'm going to run my Rowe M6!

I fiddled around with the controls a bit and now I use the up and down dpad buttons to replace the red dial on the G29 :)
Look back's L3 now and toggle ghost is the enter button. Very ergonomic if you ask me :D

Dont know if my dad is just having a hard time but he swears the cars are way harder to drive now. Have they updated the tire model to the game today?
 
Damn, had a great day yesterday on brands hatch, but today selection is BS. This stupid Raptor races all day... why not every day a gr.2/3/4 race, and the long race switch every day to the other class...

I will do races, and don't drive a pickup all over the world wtf...
 
Did 3 laps qualifying for N24. Not spectacular, but on the bright side, faster than my Cayman time :lol:. Will update after the race. :nervous:

edit: Gah! qualified P3 (which was a shocker cause my best lap was a pretty crap lap) and then while they are waiting for it to change from me in my garage to the bit with the pre-race chat, I was disconnected! If kudos is down I won't even know what the impact of that disconnect was :confused:.

Everyone cheats on gr.B race at Willow today because you can cut over the sand near the end and save 10seconds(!!!). Ridiculous.
