so-so... not excited, maybe i buy another game for days like today or yesterday.... :rolleyes:
 
What better way to end the day with a win on my favorite track with my favorite car.

Pretty much by outlasting all the aliens. The 17:24 finish time is pretty good for me, yet there were people finishing in under 17 minutes during the day! Plus I kept losing up to 3 positions during the pit stop with my thirsty Vette. I've also seen a lot of cases of cars exiting the pit overlapping each other, myself included. GTS's new challenge is synchronized driving?

I'll miss you Nurb24, tomorrow night I will sleep sensibly again. Although GR.2, infield, that was fun last time....
 
Still on form. Leave the better races for those who sit at home all day.
 
More and more I've fallen in love with Gr.2. Driving the NSX has really forced me to come to terms with the game's quirky throttle and I love making ground on opponents through better fuel and tire management. A 3rd place finish in the first C-race.

Also, after getting used to Gr.2 in slow bits Gr.3 cars are a cinch for me now.

True, but at least other cars can compete, unlike say Bathurst. GT86 was pretty good if I remember correctly, and it's fun to drive as well :)

Might not be the meta nowadays, but I'm rather solid in that car. Or... Qualify with a Megane and race with an RCF...

Yeah I'm gonna qualify in a Megane :lol:

Edit: 2:04:489... I don't remember my PB, but I'm not too far of I think? Also I'm a tenth faster in the RCF than the Megane. I guess I hate it that much :lol:

I got F1 2017 yesterday as I couldn't stand the GTS races. Career mode is so detailed I think I'll be occupied by that for a good while before I go online. And I have a G29, this is the only other racing game I've played other than GTS so now I actually know what ffb is lol

Instead I shaved off 5 sec of my qualify time and the race after went great. No laggy cars, respectful drivers, gained a few places and finished 2nd. Sometimes it is better to simply bow out from a ****** situation.

So the 'vette works ok on the ring huh? I went with the Viper and was wishing I'd gone with my usual for N24, the RSR.

Race A sounds more like a nightmare :yuck:!

No racing for me tonight. The Gran Turismo curse has hit again. with GT4 it was the first joints in my index fingers from shifting doing all the endurance races. With GTS it's my thumbs :grumpy:. Had to grip the wheel IRL like I was going offroad :crazy:.
 
did one race and spotted SpaceDustDaddy :D (can't remember his gtp name rip)

Got a penalty for going off-track. Understandable, so I tried to take it off at the end but I braked too late so I handbraked and spun to serve it just a bit more :lol: it stopped at 0.067 seconds :grumpy:
P2 saw all that and had a good laugh apparently :lol:
 
Kudos prime is back up and running. Looks like I didn't suffer any damage from my disconnect before it switched from initial display of match up to warm up period. My P12 finish with the Viper dropped my DR by a bit under 100, SR is still on 96 (dropped from 99 to 96 after the Cayman N24)

Another day above DR1 :D.

Funny story, I was just matchmaked into a room with someone who had the same exact quali as mine :lol: 2:04.436
Before the warm-up I was considered second, but started third. Coincidentally my door number's 3, and the guy's was 2. Maybe they sort players by DR if quali's the same? :D
The room was 3 S, and a mix of A and Bs so the door numbers aren't skewed
