Not to take anything away from your win, congrats!, yet it could be nice if there were also stars for most cars over taken, most consistent pace, shortest pit stop, longest draft chase, least tire wear, fuel saver, biggest comeback. Perhaps all as different icons shown in the result screen for everyone to see. next to that nasty red dot, a nice clean race check mark etc. The game needs more carrots, it's got enough sticks now.

Firstly, Thank you!

Secondly, I agree... it would be nice to see some more accolades. But I'm sure there would be quite the discussion of which accolades to see on the screen. ;)

Congrats!

Thank you!

Cheers

I think I hit a cap with my trusty RCF at 2:03.924... Been wualified for 3rd two races in a row now...

I'm on a 2.04.042 and I've had crazy lobbies. Started 12th twice, 8th and 14th. All A+ drivers for the most part in mid 2.03's, and some expert dive bombers. Some people are angry tonight judging by their racing lol.

Haha I was racing in an odd time as well, but damn 12-14th on a very low 2:04? You're not even 1 second off the pace from 10th here in Asia! Good thing I played at like 3 AM

Bluemoon infield was chaos. The penalty system is still too lenient and now gets abused.

I saw this happen multiple times during the race.
tGfQuwK.gif

Cars with penalties simply driving and drafting through each other.

A race with tons of bumping and still all blue ratings at the end, A/S mixed with B/S room. I started in the back, made up some places, got bumped off multiple times, got screwed on pit exit (merged with another car, spun into the wall without control) and slipped on a banana peel going an inch too wide, destined to stay in the back :/ I dodged so many cars I lost count yet still ended up with a 1 sec "you should have jumped out of the way" penalty. Meanwhile I continuously saw people with penalties slowing down little bits here and there to shave it off on the racing line then stepping on the gas to block as soon as the car behind got close. Please PD fix this ghosting penalty mess.

Dropped 33 sr and went from 99S to 66 in one race B to one single 🤬 who kept shoving me off through turns without getting a single penalty, while I accumulated 10s total..:banghead:

And this was for 5th place...

Something is definitely wrong with the penalty system. Not only were people drifting and scrubbing me to the outside, but at one point I totally screwed up on Blue Moon Raceway turn 3 and totally smashed a guy into the wall. I was so fixated on the fight on the inside that I didn't notice him overlapping on the outside and just blasted through him for my exit line and totally ruined his race.

I ended the race with a clean race bonus.

There's a ridiculous amount.of Sr available during this race. Hotlapped up.front by myself for a race and got 43 SRpts in one race. That's why there tons of contact and all blue finishes

I did another Infield race and again plenty cars clipping through each other. Not only when both have a penalty, also just one with a penalty and even without any penalty another car drove half through me. I guess it's better than getting bump passed yet it feels very cheap, like playing an fps with invulnerability mode. I'm going to play some God of War instead.

Same thing happened to me except the other driver didn't expect it to happen as he fazed through me and ended up crashing.

That would be kewl. Unless you are down in the mud it's a little unlikely except for mismatch. I'm a DR/D on the verge of going up to DR/C...again. Last time I lasted 2 days before being sent down. I also use a controller :).

OUCH :banghead:. I got lucky and was disconnected early enough not to get that hit.

I had that with the PS2, but with the PS4 controller the springy hooky L2 and R2 make gear changes so much more comfy. Wouldn't work for say Robben since he uses these for throttle and brake.

I'm in Australia so it should be possible

Here's a turn by turn tutorial of my best lap from the previous event at BB Raceway of 24.998.

I've been racing this whole time with counter steering default. Is using strong commonly used? I don't want to do it if it takes away from the whole experience if you know what I mean

CSA seems faster with this combination and it make the car more stable. As far as I know or is commonly used because of this.

Great race ruined...

Noooooo, thats really bad. I think u were the only that gets disconnected, all others finished it :( Btw, sorry for that 2 secs penalty, no chance to avoid that contact in lap 4... :D

The region is right but I was thinking more of DR. According to Kudos prime, the average driver reaches DR/C within the first 10 days of racing sport mode, and DR/B before day 40. Not sure why they don't go by the number of races. I didn't reach DR/C till day 79, that lasted 2 days then down to DR/D again . It's now day 97 :dopey:.

Chances are during the dailys you wouldn't be matched against me because of the DR level.

Using CSA is much faster at lower levels, I had a guy catching up to me and eventually knocked me off the track so I watched his replay, he was flat out of every turn with barely even a twitch whereas I’m feathering the throttle out. He’s able to do that because of CSA

So I did my first Daily Race in about a week on Sunday; the Cayman Group 4 on Nurburgring 24H. Stuffed up my qualifying lap and had to start 16th on the grid out of 19 cars. I somehow managed to get up to 8th place, which was a pretty good effort considering the shenanigans that went on. The second race I did was the same track in Group 3 cars. I won a Beetle Group 3 the week before and hadn't driven it yet, so I decided to take it out. I did an 8:21, which I think is the fastest lap I've done around Nurburgring 24H. That put me in first place by a good 4 seconds. The car is a handful to drive but it is very very quick, and I won the race by 11 seconds. 10/10 would race again.

Well I enjoyed the Toyota 86 race yesterday but was a little bit hairy due to the close proximity racing and the drag race
effects of all of the cars slipstreaming race.

Did not affect my SR/DR too much though and I managed to get a couple of 4th's and almost got a win but cooked it towards
the end of the race,

Liking today's line up of races though I dislike the handling of the Veyron for Race C, anyone have a suggestion for brake balance,
I think I am end up oversteering in the corners as the back slides out a lot. Thanks in advance for any tips!
