Just be smooth. Seriously. Smooth throttle. Smooth steering. I can just about keep the throttle on through the esses. Lightly lift(dont lift off, don't down shift ) the throttle just before 130R. Carries so much speed.

Well, I'm done. I told my wife I'm buying an 86. Edit: She said, "Yeah. I like those."

Best event I've raced. Got my monies worth tonight.
Didn't do any qualifiers and started at the back?

Yep.

When I saw the events, I only had one minute to enter. Plus, the Monza events put me off qualifying. Every race but one, I was starting 2nd and kept getting punted. Been working for me.

I feel like the slipstream is way too strong, it really has a big impact on Yamigawa.

Also, without any crash physics, when you get hit from behind, your car gets launched way further than it realistically would.

You right on Yamagiwa only lol.

Daily A: Golf GTI - Yamagiwa | 4
Daily B: GR.3 - Blue Moon Speedway | 10 Laps
Daily C: Toyota 86 - Suzuka | 8 Laps | Sports Medium.

Daily B or C for faster DR buff? need bringback my DR around 28K.
That's it for me - I've officially removed the disk from my machine :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Done a 2:37.050 for my quali, with lots of tme to improve. I eventually will, but for SR A it will suffice for now :)
Also...

Not again :grumpy:

After that bump and spin, I was placed away from the chicane exit as P1 and it gave me room to get away from the pack. 1st time I encounter it. Normally it put me at the middle of the chicane.

You found a cheat. You're obviously a dirty driver

That's the spirit! Get rid of that abomination with the blue oval! :p;)

Still haven't worked out what crash fest I'll enter tonight.

Currently sitting 8th in my region with a 2:34.637. How anyone can go almost 2 seconds faster I do not comprehend.
I've spotted RC_Miura using the clutch in the previous daily with GT86 @ Tsukuba. That way he was .5 faster than everyone else in EU.

I assume it's the same for those 2 secs @ Suzuka considering it's a much longer track than Tsukuba.

Wont give you 2 seconds, but it’s much faster unfortunately.

It probably helps a bit but not 2 seconds I think.

Yup, definitely not only the clutch

*Looks at prices for wheel/pedal sets*

Oh, okay. I haven't checked any top 10 replay yet cause my wife is watching the royal wedding... So TV isn't available for GTS atm lol.
I'll start a session right after the wedding. Hope to beat you Vegard :D

I tried Race C Qualifying .. Forget it game...

Instead I improved my Circuit Experience time on Nurnburg with CSA enabled and then did a lap with nothing but ABS . Just 25 seconds between the two

Hoping for some crazy stuff tomorrow

race C is standing start. some people simply don't care of the harsh penaltys. You can get rid of them easy without losing to much time. Yesterday in maggiore center 2 the same destruction derby. I come to the conclusion that maybe the penaltys are not enough. Either instant forcing (with ghosting) to serve them or when this doesn't help then bringing heavy damage into sport mode.

Meanwhile I really can't stand drivers who are to lazy to spend time into qualifying and starting in the race from behind and trying to force their way through.

And with standing start you can't even with a good qualifying time get away from the destruction party in the midfield.

By the way, who is this RC_Miura guy? his in the leaderboard first again and almost a second faster than the second!!! He should have been definitively invited to the live event in Nürburgring

Disconnected on race c twice today at participant list.

Well thank you to
race C is standing start.

Thanks for this info, I guess I will have to keep that in mind when I actually get into the race later, I am pretty good at Suzuka but
the first lap is gonna be a tough one for sure.

The player you refer to is talked about on the previous page, apparently he used a glitch with the clutch on a sterring wheel setup
that gained him extra time on the hot lap.

The Golf race at Brands yesterday tore up my SR. Started the day at SR/S, and by the time everything was said and done, I now find myself in very unfamiliar, very scary territory at a low SR/B. Looking for all of your help on what I can do to recover quickly. It’s horrible racing with this crowd. HELP! SOS!

I checked his replay and he still uses the clutch, giving him a big advantage for sure, 1 second faster than the 2nd in EU. He gears up 8 times in a lap so for 1 shift he gains something like 0.125

The other second we talked about previously was in comparison with Vegard time and it's all about skills here. So you are 1 second off the leader Vegard, the other second is the clutch trick.

What?! How long have you been 79 for?
1 race :P I'm back at S with 92 SR now, it just so happened that I ended up with 79 SR on the way there

Sitting at 2:37.050 for Race C, which I only really used to get back to SR S  I think there's some time left, probably a mid 2:36 (even did a high 2:36 during the race :D), but that's about it :) having a shifter is pretty damn op though in standing starts. I pull over by a second just having it. It's a double-edged sword though; shift too early and you'll misshift, too late and you're too slow

Qualify as fast as you can, get pole, AND RUN THE HELL AWAY!

Suzuka and Yamagiwa have gentle T1s, so you can expect to have almost no divebombs.

Hopefully.

Welp, took on Sukiyaki with the fakesix. Since I'm a crap driver I was about 10s off the top 10 pace for my region, which gave me a starting position of P10 on the grid for my race which was a mix of DR/B, C and D. That got changed to P9, so I guess someone got dumped from the server.

I started off well with the standing start. I just had my foot buried in the floor (so to speak, since I use a DS4) and changed up as soon as the flag dropped. Passed about 5 people who were caught by surprise. Was up to P3 with a 3s lead when I made a mistake and ended up in sand. I was mobbed  . Settled into P7 for what looked like the rest of the race, but with 2 laps to go I spun out in the second part of the first turn and lost another position. I gained another position when someone spun out, but lost it again because I was side by side on the outside of the turn before the hairpin and eased back to drop in behind. I would have had the inside for the hairpin, but I felt it would have ended badly. Crossed P8.

Lost 3 SR, gained some DR. 79 DR away from DR/C. Another day above DR 1 :D.

I think we can say now that PD is intentionally botching the daily races with the most nonsense selections. Two N200 races, two ovals (including the FIA Manufacturer's Race). Of course they know that these races are extremely unpopular.

At least there will be somes minutes of a decent race at Nations Cup... if they don't disconnect everyone.
