Question: How poorly can a car handle?

Answer: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV GSR.

Snap oversteer AND soul crushing wash out understeer, in the same corner.

AYC = Advanced Yaw Complications.

Really ? I liked it yesterday on the one make race, and find it very driveable  (hard to lock the brakes without ABS, hard to spin even with TCS 0)

Had a look at the laptimes for Race B. How can you select the Megane Trophy '11 if it's not Gr4 with BoP on?

I believe that's called a Scandinavian Flick. The car likes to do it on it's own. j/k

But yes, to push the car to the limits you do end up having to haggle with the snap oversteer demons. However I was never thrown off of the track by it. If I saw the car getting too weird I would just down shift and half throttle and brake at the same time to rebalance the car and recover. I'd scrub lots of speed but I had no trouble keeping it on the course. Relatively speaking though, it's snap back isn't nearly as bad as a RUF Yellowbird.

Well quite chuffed with my qualifying for Race C today as I am currently sat at 0:42.739 so am ranked 434 in the leaderboard,
best time I have ever set at Blue Moon Speedway and first time I have ever been in the top 500.

Overall I like today's selection but the Evo is a very challenging car to drive around Tsukuba!

Am I right that the jasonguernsey site shows TRACK RECORDS only from drives from race qualifiers ? NOT from the Time Trial ?

Been doing quite well today so far. A Lancer on Tsukuba doesn't sound too exciting, the required smoothness and the close fields however provide a special intensity - not bad at all :).
3 wins and 2 3rd place finishes out of 5 👍.
Met @Litchi in one race, proof here :

The race was a bit of a mess though and he was unfortunate getting stuck between some scumbags ( cars No.3, 4 and 5 ). Quite sure he would have won the race otherwise, but well, once in a lifetime :D ...

Maybe means PS4 pro?

Love the Mégane trophy so much grip, on 2.08.0 at the moment with at least a couple mistakes so more time to be had think I can hit mid 2.07s

Yes, that new frenchie is a great addition. Zooming around Suzuka today trying to break my PR ...

Took a few laps to work out how hard you can actually push that thing, first lap was miles of the pace then built from there. Only run about five or six full laps but will try again later.

Tried the one Make Race C race with the Ferrari.. bad move.. Then did one with the Megane and things worked out better, last lap, last corner..
A car had been flashing penalty and was ghosted.. someone was serving time.. the penalty went away and it was still ghosting, it enters the corner to the straight and suddenly the revs goes up and the ghosting goes away.. i was in the same corner.. now i am i pushing the other car, i try to pull left, but not cigar, i go right, still no cigar, finally i make it to the left.. the other car is still slow... and i leave it in the dust and take the flag..

This person was out of gas, but when you stop accelerating you ghost, by pulling into the corner and hitting the accelerator, he goes out of ghost and nearly gives me a Penalty (for pushing), and then proceeds to block me without any speed whatsoever..

First racer i have reported..

But it is a nifty trick :-/

You can actually view your sport mode records online now by going on your profile on the GT Sport website

WOW ! Thanks I did not notice that update. AAAANNND I has the car you used ! That is something I have been missing. As the tab is called "Sporting History" I assume that this is from the Sports Mode only .... i.e. the racing qualifications.

Yeah, and that Spanish guy was definitely not fair in this race.

as usual BMB bring me high and low race. Low cause my ISP acting up again, and high for have great battle.

Well I just little bit pissed off cause somebody drag me to pitwall and he still get A S all blue :dunce: but that fine cause I can pass him in last corner.

Just had absolutely worst race ever on GTS.. Oh my, where people choose their overtakes on Suzuka is INSANE.

Going over grass on inside of U-turn after bridge is just horrid racing. I leave absolutely no space whatsoever, yet someone finds to bump me off and shim on the inside, I get orange sr EVERY time :confused: What?
Low-B/S, worst racing every single time.

Guy goes literally over grass at left turn after esses, I'm defending inside already from start, cuts the corner completely, shims the fence, rams me off, orange SR, he gets NOTHING:banghead::banghead:

How these people crawl to sr S is just beyond me.

Down almost 30Sr and 700 dr.

Someone still say "stay out of trouble", how with these people?

You go outside-you get rammed from behind, inside-ram from side, mid-ram from behind.. Impossible:banghead:

Race B is the trouble race. Short sprint race breeds desperation in the racers. The race is more running with the bulls than a dogfight.

Indeed, my brain was saying "don't do eeeet", but I like Suzuka and hoped that sr S will behave, well, like sr S.. Wrong :/

I'll be sticking to C until further.

Finally back where I belong after a tumultuous tumble in Sr that saw me o the brink of an Sr reset down in Sr C.

Never. Again.

Glad to see you're back! Now should I gamble and race on Bluemoon again tonight, or save my SR/DR for Brand's hatch tomorrow. Does anyone know if draft bumping is still a huge SR killer (even without getting penalties or SR down arrows)
