Nooo, why the Honda Civic for the Nordschleife. Oh well, I would race tricycles on that track.

Brand's hatch was great today, or rather yesterday. Despite a costly disconnect I'm still stuck in DR.A for now, penalty bait. I fear the worst for tomorrow on the Nordschleife without qualifying. It wouldn't be any safer with qualifying I don't think. I guess it will be an opportunity to see new faces again. max SR.S is such a small group on the NA server. Tomorrow it will be Civic lawn bowling day.

No qualy at the Nord. I'll just sit back in the cut and enjoy the scenery.

A rare win for the average racer.

M4 is absolutely useless in the race c. it eats fuel
How times have changed. :p Just had a race against an M4 (amongst other cars) and I was fully expecting to be leapfrogged in the pits. Instead it was me, in my Viper, doing the leapfrogging.

There’s a great variety of cars competing at the front of Race C at the moment. The Megane Cup is a bit overkill as far as conservation goes, but it was great to see five different cars in the top 5 in my most recent race.

megane's ability to conserve fuel is just insanity. i have no idea how to beat them. i refuse to use OP cars. gotta get quicker i guess.

I just notice some behavior in this week, back then everybody trying to doing battle in every lap. Now only in first 3 lap or 2 lap but that 2/3 laps is just a survival/ufc tier race, this happen in SR B to SR S and more worse if mixing with DR.D/C. So from this midweek I just have slow start and have run faster after 3rd lap or mid 2 lap, no fun get caught crash or penalty cause other people :ouch:

Still waiting you come B anyway , I meant it
I see it like this:
- Race with 4 or less laps: car version of UFC, only way to (maybe) get away alive is pole.
- 4 to 8 laps: survive first 2-3 laps, don't worry about overtaking, just stay on track at all cost (incl. dropping places). Make everything up with others crashing out.
- 8 to15 laps, same as above, after lap 8 just cruise to finish and watch the world burn from the back seat :D

No stopper. Me and a racer in an SLS, were pushed off 3x by a dirty driver. Mind you, I'm in last place. This knucklehead had a red dunce cap. We kept passing it on the back straight and it would bump us up the inside, all the way inside, past the curbing. I think it had to serve thd penalties or get kicked, because it was way back after another lap.

Other than that, both Gr. 4 & Gr. 3 Hondas did me proud today. Also, the little CTR.

I saw you this morning in my race :) ! You finished 3rd and yes that Megane is too strong for us no OP cars users , i can’t fight against them with my lovely Audi :(

I wish I could see what cars are on the leaderboard on my phone :scared:
Meganes on C, quickly turning into one-make.
Funny tho, looking at those replays, seems that cars get more mileage on kerbs and rubber than on actual tarmac..

Hope they correct Maggiore's track limits, was a blast to drive in the back on FIA race, people slamming barriers left and right:D

Same here. Used the NSX with no-pitstop and managed to steal a win. The last couple of laps were pretty dodgy, but did enough to keep it on the track and get it to the line for my first ever victory at Lago Maggiore GP.

Tried the McLaren for a couple of races beforehand, but that thing is slow and also uses too much fuel.

Hello to Goldminegutted (Capn' Jack); we were in a couple of races together and good to see another GT Planet member

Dude, you came from nowhere. You stole that win indeed, if myself and those two Kiwi fellows weren’t having so much battling we could’ve given you a good run for your money! Great job with the alternative strategy.

How's Maggiore for Sr today?
Edit:
Disconnected at loading screen again with network error, and I was p2..:banghead:
Funny tho, my car's livery is white (swapped it today, yet loading screen said solid yellow)!?

See, as much as I agree that there are a lack of decent tracks, this part confused me.

You say anything at Le Mans is a mess because people cannot remember it. Do you mean other people? Or do you also not remember it? Because if you mean other people, which it certainly sounds like, then that complaint makes no sense considering you yourself cannot remember Yamagiwa

I struggle to remember them and so do many others because on the really long tracks you see so many errors.

Last night was way better, Group 4 at ring gp, t1 a bit of a mess but from there, proper racing in proper race cars on a proper track without a bazillion pointless turns. Fantastic.

Ring and Ring a rosie, a pocket full of posies. A-tishoo! A- tishoo! We *all* fall down! Yes volks, that best describes the crash fest that is Race A ;). I didn't bother qualifying, because I really wanted to do this race, I'm not very confident with the Civic, and the fun would be just getting it around the circuit unscathed :dopey:. Started P9 (two up from the bottom).

The whole race was a bit of a crash fest. I just drove conservatively, although I did start to get a bit of a feel for the little Honda through the section after the Karussell. I had several opportunities to pass, but didn't feel too confident without pushing someone off, so I hung back. The cars in front were having a skirmish. one made a mistake and i got past that one. The second one I was trying to pass on a fairly strait section. As soon as I pulled along side he started slamming into the side of me. I backed off at the next corner and he went flying off. Sucker :sly:! I finished P7. I noticed a red dot next to my name, yet I don't recall ever seeing a penalty dished out to me. Might be from when I tapped someone off the track (the brakes aren't the best ). They lost a little velocity but I hung back so they would re-join the track ahead of me. despite all that it was a fun race. :)

Lost a little DR, but I already knew I would. Gained another couple of SR. I call that a result. :D

You race was like the plague then?

Not sure if that was directed at me, but, kinda sorta. Was still fun :dopey:.

Next race, chasin the Dragon through the Gardens. I tried the NSX and yeh 05XR8, very stable, but... you and I have very different skill levels. Even though it's a bit more skittish, I was getting better times with the RSR. I qualified P7. DR/Cs and Ds with a lonely A on pole. If I was able to do my optimal I'd have qualified P2. The guy behind me was a fellow Aussie. I'd seen him before, but forgot how he raced. I was soon to find out :odd:.

Auto drive gives us the "riders ready? pedal....SET! " and off we go! Like with the NSX, the blackbird does the 5th gear coast and throttle on pull out the first corner. Would have been better if I didn't have to ease off because of those pesky cars they expect me to share a track with . I just hung in there. The guy behind me kept tapping impatiently on my rear and finally decided to fully utilise me as a brake stop. I had to pull a Hail Mary with the down shift and brakes to keep a couple of tyres on the track. No penalty for me and another 3 positions lost. So much for mateship and the Anzac spirit 👎!

I hung in there and ran my race, focused on staying on the track and doing a better lap than the last. I made up positions and finished P6. Nearly everyone finished with a blue SR, except the muppet who nearly knocked me off who dropped to SR/A, and someone with a white SR. The muppet finished P11 :p.

So, SR up another three, and all the DR I lost from the 'ring I got back with interest! Another result :D.

Not aimed at you. Ring a ring of roses is supposedly about the black death plague in London in the 1600's.
