Turns 2 & 3 on Miyabi in the Lambo is hard to nail. I've never had that problem with other cars. Could be the tires. Just need slightly more grip.

Take turn 1 easy trailbraking down to 3rd in the middle keeping at least 1/3 throttle and exit when comfortable to 4th. Brake early to the S while riding the inside of the rumble strip. No need to gas at all, just turn and accelerate at the exit and brake early for the 180. Gradually accelerate to 3rd and cut the chicane as much as possible without cutting the corners.

She's a boat :dopey:
She's a wedge
Cmon man!

Edit: must be a fun boat
A fun wedge
Surely the car drives better in real life. At least I hope so.
But she's a lteral wedge

I did a lot of racing on the Nordschleife today. The R92CP is the most fun to drive, just can't keep up with all the hybrids.

So I tried out a bunch of other cars:
R92CP Awesome top speed, no need to fuel manage, yet continuous tap tap from 919s in corners
Porsche 919 Meta for a reason, this thing is so easy to drive on the Nord, you don't even have to brake for a lot of corners.
Audi R18 Competitive yet falls a little behind the 919, also feels like it is on rails
Alpine VGT This is more work and more fun to keep on the track, bit of sliding here and there
Peugeot L750R Fast and consistent, fun to drive, got me a fastest lap
Hyundai N 2025 Really likes to slide around corners, not a good fit for the Nord, thristy bugger as well, fuel map 2 all the way to make 2 laps, barely.
Peugeot 908 HDI fap Bit better top speed and no need to fuel manage, not that competitive either.

The last 2 races were very dirty, so I could not really test how good the HDI fap was. I got bumped off the track at least 3 times in those races and bumped from behind a lot more. The last race the same driver drove me off the road 3 times, crashing after bumping me off to do it again. The penalties are way too relaxed now. I still get a 10 sec penalty from tapping an unavoidable car spinning out or bumping a car that suddenly slowed from hitting the car in front of them, yet bumping people sideways off the track or from behind, that's ok...

Anyway I wandered back into DR.A, stuck there despite the last 2 races, and racing on the Nord is always fun. Report the idiots, move on to the next race. Perhaps PD will smarten up some day and put the hybrids in their own category.

Before they separate Group C :p

Kudos to you for using the R92CP though. Now that the initial hype for Group C is gone, barely anyone uses them anymore

Well I am hoping to one day post a video of success with something from Group C but I suspect I will have to put a lot of
effort in or have inexperienced racers to achieve the dream result.

Question for you - do you think that the Toyota 86 might have any chance for a win in Race B today?

Same for Toyota Supra or FT-1 in Race C.

Friend has made some new Sonic liveries for those cars so I would like to try and show them off in my weekend video's.

Looking forward to that :D I hate Group C's inclusion in Gr. 1 because they'll be uncompetitive, so I'd like to see myself proven wrong :)

For Race B yeah I think the 86 has a chance in Race B, although only if you can get pole. Defending at Infield is easier than most tracks save for T1, so yeah :) if I were to choose though, I'll pick the RC F to ensure that I can run away from the Trophies at the home straight

For Race C the Supra is definitely one of the stronger cars around there :) not quite sure about the FT-1, but I'm guessing it'll be really good at the second sector at least

Thanks, hopefully I will achieve it soon!

Thanks for feedback regarding my other queries, hopefully will get good qualifying times later, I am pretty good on Blue Moon Bay Infield A so
touch wood I get the pole, Interlagos should be in the top spots due to lots of practice there.

Well, today Race A is a lot of fun, managed to get a couple of poles and wins :D I'm so near to get the thophies (the Senna and Schumi ones) for both

NSX and Mustang also have the goods. Torque from Mustang and good brakes. NSX is just good everywhere, with good tyre wear and fuel economy.

GR4 feels wayy too slow for me , especially on a fast track like blue moon after mostly playing GR2 and 3 races !

I couldn't race last night because the ISP had an outage for like 12 hours, now this:

"To sign in, an update of your account information is required. An e-mail message with instructions has been sent to XXX@X.X.X. It may take up to 24 hours to receive this message."

You guys reckon the daily races are more active in the afternoon or evening on FIA race days like today?

911s everywhere I havent set a qualy time yet been trying different cars and working my way through the field and stopping on lap 8 or 9 best effort last race went from 18th to 2nd with fastest lap.

People are behaving pretty well t1 has had a couple of morons who outbrake themselves and take people including me out even well into the race. Had a couple of **** 10 sec penalties as normal following cars and seemingly not having any contact and copping these dumb penalties

BMBS-IA is one of the boring circuits, but the Mustang is doing a really good job versus the Huracans. Got a Pole to win and three podiums from 5th & 6th places.

One thing I'm noticing, the racing number on the Mustang has been around 8-15. Usually, my NSX gets 6, 5, 7. I haven't started less than 6th in the Mustang. To add, my rating is B/S.

Okay, I'm just now starting a race and I think my number is "1". Edit: it's "7".

Edit2: Alrighty then

Well folks, it's that time of the night again, and we are on the road to oblivion. Spent some time chasing my tail qualifying for Race B in the NSX. There were 3 Meganes, and I can't say I noticed anything spectacular about them. I qualified P6 in a mixed grid of DR/C and D. Also noticed a qualifying time for @xxxman1 :gtpflag:. He wasn't in my race.

Well the race gets going and I'm approaching T1 with some apprehension. The last time I raced here I was slammed into the wall on the other side of the grass by someone. I survived T1 intact and in position. I was doing quite well having gained a spot, when some drongo in a Lexus I was about to pass started slamming into the side of me till he finally got enough of a run up to knock me off the track before the final turn :banghead:. Down the list I tumble, arresting the fall around P10 I think.

I wrestled my way up a couple of spots and carrying more speed through a corner tapped a Veyron. Luckily they didn't loose any time or come off track. Got passed the Veyron and caught up with the moron in the Lexus. He was trying it on with a roach of some description, and then I saw him sideways with large volumes of tyre smoke. I blew past with a chuckle and found myself right up the rear of said roach. I backed off a bit trying to avoid another collision and was pounced on by one of the Meganes. Eventually I got passed the roach and was catching the Megane but the finish line came first. P7.

SR stayed the same, DR up by a couple of hundred. Not a bad result considering :dopey:.

@Danny_GT2

Wow fantastic driving, what patience! You are clearly faster than him yet you waited him out and executed your move on lap 4 with absolute precise. The penalty you got on lap 2 was bs also by the way!! Barely made contact! I couldn't even tell there was contact. Maybe it was track limits?

Great skills and then to block him on the straight for the win was brilliant. A little taste of his own medicine!

Silly question, but is the number on the car significant?
