Stepped up my S660 qualifying. Went from 1:18.9 to 1:16.xxx. Started 4th finished 2nd with a 1,2,3 battle over the line. I'm in the red car.

Just did a raced in the Z4. Went from 9th to 4th.
Not a bad car. Easy handling and speed was good. Even with tyres fading a bit due to earlier pit stop for an undercut(gave me a 4 second buffer ahead of 5th).

Last night, I did the Suzuka race in the Megane Gr. 4. Those Slophys are a problem no more. Between the NSX and this car, I've got the '11 covered. I don't see them dominating next week at Nurb GP.

So this happened few minutes back. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. Twice now.

Wall colision 5 or 4 sc , when you have someone so close to you you have to use radar even more in roof view. Anyway , the impact show it's not a light contact but a real big huge bump :)

I wish when they brought a new car to a group ie. Ford GT Gr.3 they made it underpowered then buffed it if necessary, rather than make it overpowered then nerf it.

Obviously if they got it right in the first place that would be ideal but I’m a realist, not an optimist.

@Invisigoth's stories went MIA after the update. PD for the love of cars and interesting daily race storytelling bring dailies and Invisigoth back :banghead:

I'm finding the whole weekly concept wholly uninspiring. With the dailies you could race a car/track combo, and if it didn't suit you, you had the security of knowing that tomorrow was another day and another combo. It was an adventure. I can only do a couple of races a day, so now I'm focused on trying to get a grip on Hamilton's Merc . So far it's more D1 than F1 .

I haven't had a single penalty across 2 accounts and probably 20 races since the most recent patch :-]

But inri, yer an alien... you don't get penalties anyway :p.

The Gr 3 race at St Croix is alright. I can get consistent podium finishes in the M6 GT3 (It's really good on tires), but the Ford GT's straight line speed makes it impossible to win the race.

Race A. Enough already. Boring, boring and oh yeah, boring.

Finally got a chance to drive St Croix and I really like the 3 tracks.

Whole driving them, I was thinking, you all know PD is going to troll us by having the 3 races be Track A Track B and Track C fora week.

lF you feel Race A is boring, next week is N400 at Big Willow.
Smells of Raptor...

Tried 2 Daily Cs today. First race I got punted off after the long straight. Went from 4th, back to 10 and got back to 6th. Second race a Mustang and GT divebombed into turn 1 and sent me and another car (3rd and 4th) into the wall. Ended up 15th after that, got back up to 4th trying to make a pass on 3rd place when that driver (who was dirty the entire race) decided to nudge me off track.. so fell back to 10th. Clipped a curb on the next lap and spun on my own which put me back to last, again. Drove back through the field to finish 6th at the line.

I went and did B after that for a win and a 2nd.

I don't know why Polyphony is so pasive in BoP fixes, they should do moves after max 1 week if something is wrong like in situation with Megane or Ford now
but of course they will wait 1 month or even 2 to do something with that

@praiano63 has good point, Ford just need less power and less weight

They seem to get real irate if you pass them on the main straight. I dont know how many hits i took through the s curves because i passed them.

Ohhh so that's why :( good luck on your F1 endeavor! But hey, seeing an F1 in a D1 competition ain't that bad either

Why is it that every time a new car is placed into Group 3 or 4, they become the car to beat? The Ford GT, the Megane Trophy, the Lexus RC-F... Why is the BoP soo kind for these vehicles? Why can't PD get the BoP sorted within a reasonable time? It destroys the quality of the racing and creates a situation wherein "if you can't beat them, join them". This has to stop.

Another day of St Bloix. I'm going to run out of cars to try. Today I used the 4C, both M6 (is there a difference?), GT-R and 650S. The races around 9pm were dirty, luckily apart from the first one I managed to escape most of the bump passers and tappers. After a break the night races were a lot cleaner. However I got bored, enough, save some cars for another day.

My DR went down 1500 points, mainly from the dirty races where I got bumped into the walls several times and spun out to last in one race. My average finish position has gone up again to 8.3, average start position still 17.5. Fords still win the race yet sometimes an alien in a different car can get close to the Ford at the finish.

I can't believe I'm starting to look forward to Interlagos.... I did catch up on some movies this week, so thanks PD.

Yep. Their only move is to try late braking up the inside, but a T1, I tighten my line. From there, I let the torque help me pull away.

Used the Mustang this time. Finished P3 beating out a TT and a couple Slophys. Was catching the two leading '11s on the last lap. 2 seconds behind.

Tried the Cayman. That gearing hurts the car so much. Handling is awesome, but a track like Maggiore works better. I'd bet St Croix would be way nice in the Cayman.
Looks like a one make
Yeah, I figure the Raptor.

Leave it to PD to **** up something every month...

Megane is still the fastest car for Gr.4, now there is a new Gr.3 Meta as well. Thanks!

Gr.4 at the Nurb, AGAIN?! And now for a whole week? God damn, they want me to stop playing this game.

So if we’re going to be stuck with this weekly format, what if PD came up with a system where at the end of each day, the Meta car was dropped from the available selection. That way, at least the meta would change every day.

Meta humpers are one of my biggest pet peaves in video games, especially when you don’t even have to build the meta like you do in other types of games. Here, it’s just handed to scrubs on a silver platter.

Doing Race B, every time I see a Megane, I’m like, “you’re a 🤬, you’re a censored:, oh, a Mustang, you’re cool...you’re a 🤬, you’re a 🤬.” The hilarious bit is 99% of them suck, their braking is terrible, line is terrible, and racecraft is nonexistent. And most of their liveries are  :yuck:

I’ll gladly punt a Magane off and not feel bad about it. Those cars might as well have a “kick me” sticker on the back of them.

The Ford GT might be the fastest in a straight line, but the car lacks aero and mechanical grip from what I observed being behind them. Trust me, it's not THAT good.

Alright, I'm corrected. But if it still tops the leaderbords at Interlagos with that middle sector...

I’ll be honest, track Shuffle lobbies have always been my favourite type of lobby. Pick a class for the evening, then jump in a lobby that goes quali -> race -> track change. I’d love to see a matchmaking lobby that had a track shuffle feature like most FPS games have.
You can do this in a lobby. Should not be a bad idea to create some open lobbies. And you can vote for the next track. Always good tracks and cars cause you only do what you like. The only thing is no changes in DR and SR which should not be a bad thing to many people complaining about the bad penalty system. You can even turn the penalty off in a lobby. And earn money and miles. The only thing is there is no real matchmaking. I am surprised people dont use the lobbies more often and people here dont gather more in creating a “fake daily GTP lobby”.

With the dailies you could race a car/track combo, and if it didn't suit you, you had the security of knowing that tomorrow was another day and another combo.
Now if it doesnt suit you, you have a week to learn it better. With the daily you had no time to learn it so you would just skip it. A weekly should motivate you more to make it suit you. Its an interesting approach to start accepting it. I think more people should look at it like this.

I have an awesome video of it too...
Please do share it !

Replay of going 7th to 1st in 3 corners. Nothing too crazy, but I was pretty pleased with the way things worked out
Thats amazing ! Nice to watch !

But what if there is no liking to be found for the track/car ?
What if I don't want to race One-make on race C?

Well them I'm destined to :
A) get punted off by faster FotM car
B) lose dr because I don't want to follow the herd and play aforementioned car

C) just not log in anymore after 2-3 days because of, you guessed it, boredom. It bores me to death to race same thing, whole week.
I didn't buy GTS just to play lobbies.

I missed bucketload of good combos during dailies, but I always knew that at least one new good combo is coming up during the week.

Now, if I don't like the combo, I gotta wait whole week for another one, and get bored by it in 2-3 days (and that's if I like it).

Wait few weeks and you'll see the activity, even here on the forum it's already gotten down.
